If you're in the market for a three-row family SUV but don't want to take on the size and low mpg of the Chevy Tahoe, then the 2025 Traverse should be right up your alley. Most shoppers will flock to the base LT trim because it's the most affordable and comes standard with a generous list of features including a large 17.7-inch center touchscreen and a sizable package of advanced driver aids. You can also customize the LT with three notable optional packages. Folks who enjoy off-roading or like the look of a rugged SUV should opt for the Z71. It comes equipped with features like all-terrain tires and an off-road-tuned suspension. But if you prefer luxury and have a larger budget, the new High Country trim should impress you with its leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, and loads of tech, including the Super Cruise hands-free driving system. The dark-themed RS model comes loaded with most features and boasts a sporty design.

The Traverse is a solid pick thanks to its big interior and impressive number of tech features. But it's not the only three-row midsize SUV we recommend.
