  • Confusing Layout

    I went there (AutoNation Toyota) just to get an additional copy of my key made. It was my first time going there as I purchased my 2023 Corolla used a little over a year ago, from a non-Toyota dealership, and I have not yet needed to take it in for service. The first thing I noticed was that the service area was organized like the entrance to a courthouse building, complete with what looked like a security detector system. Tim, my advisor, however, was very helpful and friendly. I wandered around the rest of the dealership while I waited for my new key to be programmed, etc. It was hard to figure out what was what. The sales area was small and very casual looking. Maybe that was by design. No one approached me. Maybe that was by design also, I don't know. I got what I came for, but I can't recommend this dealership as a place to go to purchase a car.

    Incredible customer service! A 10/10 experience for me. I could not believe the lengths they want to unsure that I could by my first car. They treated me like family. I will never forget the first time I bought a car because of AutoNation Toyota Spokane Valley.

  • Oil change and tires

    Great service. Provided me with a rental when tires were needed to be put on my car and they were unable to perform the same day do to lateness in the day. I was able go to work the next day without interruption, which was much appreciated.

    The last two times I have been in this service shop it has been the worst experience. First I took my car in to do its 10,000 mile care and they told me it was only going to be about an hour and it took over 3. This time I called ahead to let them know I was going to drop it off early and to see if I could get a ride back from the shuttle they told me on the phone he would be waiting so I got there 10 min after I called and the rep told me I had to wait 30 min to get a ride back after waiting the 30 min the driver of the shuttle came over and got me to take me back to work then as we got to the shuttle he said never mind I have to go get someone else so your gonna have to wait. when I came back later in the day to get my car the rep asked what time would work best for me to bring my car in again because I was 5 hours early and my car didn't need to be there that long. I don't have a problem with buying the car there but your service team (not the mechanics) has to be one the the worst out there on how they treat people.

    I have a Prius with almost 90k miles that I purchased certified used at 30k. I only service my vehicle at Autonation Toyota Spokane Valley because I trust their work and usually have discount coupons to keep it affordable.

    I brought my 2022 Tacoma in for a free oil change and they were not going to honor my coupon because my truck was not due for an oil change. This is my third and LAST time servicing at your dealership. They are not friendly there. I felt like I was doing something wrong in fact the service adviser said this was a “waste of Resources”. I will be going to Parker Toyota where I have serviced my 2018 Sienna with NO issues for 5 years. Very disappointed.

    My visit was for a second opinion look. Jamie Burns was my front room technician and she was awesome! She took her time reviewing the previous service sheet with me, and told me how Karl Cereghino was going to look and my cars engine and ensure if the potential failures were an issue. He found that they were not the looming expense that I was told and downgraded and prioritized the list of upcoming maintenance. They have my future business for sure!

  • Changed A Negative To A Positive!!

    The previous service I received my car was returned in unsatisfactory condition. There was mud and scrapes on the threshold of my car. I was late for a meeting and could not address at the time and addressed it in my review. On my recent service I showed Jamie the pictures I took and she reassured me my car would be in good hands. She made a special note on my account to ensure I received my car back in the same condition I dropped it off in. When she called me to let me know my car was ready to be picked up, she mentioned she personally inspected my car. I appreciate her taking my concern seriously and going above and beyond to personally take care of me!

    I arrived on time for my appointment but the shop was really busy. When I finally spoke to someone and mentioned a shuddering, they said I'd have to leave my car overnight as they didn't have time to look at it. They completed the oil change but didn't add air to my front tires and they were at 28 psi when I left.

    I brought my Rav4 in for oil change. My 2 years of free servicing was up. Apparently I bought a maintenance oil change package that I had forgot about, but Dave Merkle, my service advisor already had checked on my account and surprised me with the news that I didn't owe any money the day of service. What a nice surprise! Dave has always been transparent in his quotes, his plan of servicing my vehicle. Thanks!

    Poor. My husband past away Feb, and I had to cancel my oil change service appt due to relicensing problems with the DOT. It had an expired handicap plate. The truck sat idle, in a shop building for 6 months. The truck had 88,000 miles when we purchased it and had 96,000 when he passed away. I thought I was taking it in for the due oil change and ended up paying $1900 for fluids to be replaced ie brake and transmission, steering fluid etc. The service manger gave me a reprimand for canceling the due service and claimed I could have ruined the pickup. All I understood was I was bringing it in for an oil change. She claims when they put it on the rack , the fluids were all dirty and need immediate attention. Why was this not done before we purchased the vehicle? I was totally treated like a child. I will go back out for the next oil change as part of the sales agreement then will find another dealer.
