My fiancé absolutely loves her new Jeep Grand Cherokee!!
Surprisingly Impressed
by waller99 on 09/03/2014I can't stand dealing with car dealerships but this one was different. I was treated well and would buy from again. Price was fair and service was great. Not a very good experience
by cory12 on 08/26/2014We made the deal with the sales guy which was fine. When we got to the finance guy the deal was not what was agreed on. The original deal was for 70 months and the finance guy told us it was set for 72 months. A $1100 difference in the… price. When confronted by the manager and the sales person they just stated it was a miss understanding or communication between the sales guy and manager! I will not buy a car from them ever again and I will inform my Co workers the same.We are sorry for your negative experience at AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Spring. We take pride in maintaining excellent customer relations, and we regret that we have not met your expectations at our dealership. If you'd be willing, please call our General Manager directly at (281) 715-6927 for further assistance with moving forward. Thank you for leaving your feedback, and we hope to hear from you in the future.

Autonation Spring (buy elsewhere)
by glynn77375 on 08/14/2014I gave this dealer 2 opportunities to earn my business. My credit was marginal, but I was promised (both times) that the loan was approved. First opportunity, the sales manager was eager to have the salesman come to my place of employment… to sign documents. I advised this was not possible. When I went to the dealership to sign the documents, much to my surprise the lender had gone out of business. So, I purchased a Toyota from Fred Haas Toyota Country with NO problem. Second opportunity: The salesman promised (again) that the deal was approved and that I could come in the next day to sign up and take delivery of the new car. Later that evening, I texted to reconfirm my appointment, only to learn that NO lender would approve the deal. I even had a co-signer (if necessary) with excellent credit history. Again, I went to another dealer (Parkway Chevrolet) and was approved immediately for a new vehicle with no co-signer @ a reasonable interest rate. I texted the salesman @ Autonation to advise I had made a purchase. He texted back to let me know I was approved, with no co-signer @ the very same APR. Please do not buy from this dealer. Shop another Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram store. These people lie and play games. Wish I could score this dealer (0).It is disappointing to hear of your negative experience with our team. If you are willing, our General Manager would love to talk directly with you to rectify these issues. You can contact our GM at (281) 715-6927 -- we hope to hear from you soon.

by bwyoull on 07/24/2014This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Spring Dodge and Larry C. Both times Larry went above and beyond for my business. Could not ask for a more professional transaction, without any hassle whatsoever. Thanks Larry.Almost 5 stars but!!
by happybuy1 on 07/23/2014My experience started with internet sales. It was great getting to shop around and seeing up front pricing online. a Six hour drive and stay at the motel, arriving at the dealership around 10:00 am next morning for our scheduled appt. we… were assigned a saleman and he was great. My wife had already picked the vehicle she wanted and we had already test driven at another local location. Salesman went to get the vehicle from their large inventory of the model and vehicle ID she had chosen. Finding the vehicle took a while an hour and a half, it helped when my wife informed the salesman that it was one of the only listed trucks with a sun roof . No problem though the place had a great lounge and was very nice. Popcorn and water was plentiful. Gets the truck around we look at it, yep thats the one we want. The salesman was surprised when we didn't want to test drive it. Man I was ready to buy, financing and all. This is where it gets loooonnngg. Trade in time, to get vehicle values, finance manager insistes on getting us a better deal on interest etc. which he did, but being loyale to my financial institution, we haggle a while about the offer, and the interest rates (yes he did get lower rates) but nice thing my bank matched his offer after all. Truck had to be serviced and we had to schedule the mounting of the running boards. Wife couldn't get into the truck without them. We go to eat lunch about 4:00pm waiting for the service and the final paper work. Get back to the dealership and go into the finance officers office and haggle some more about his offer and the extras, like extended warranty etc. Well after ticking off the finance offer, he finally gives in and completes the paper work, we get it signed and completed. Wait for the truck and finally leave the dealership after 7:00pm. I've never spent this much time purcahsing a vehicle, especially one I already had picked out and had financing for as well. Driving 6 hours, spending the night, and then spending an extra night instead of taking the 6 hours to drive home until the next day, you got to be wandering if it was worth it. YES IT WAS. The deal we got at Auto Nation was by far better than we had found any where else. Couldn't be happier with our purchase. Wife loves her new truck and it's a lot of fun to drive, especially with all the bells and whistles. Except for the amount of time spent with this purchase, I would do it all again. I would just be a little more adamant about the fianacing at my bank. Just get the paper work done and let me sign and be on my way. I figured we would be there for about 2 maybe 3 hours and on our way back home. But for this I would give them a 5 star rating. Maybe next time, cause yes, I'll buy from them again. Thanks for your help Chris, the salesman, NOT Chris, the finance officer. Can't wait for our first service visit. They look top of the line on service. The dealership, is one of the top rated if not the top rated in volume sales in the nation. I can see why. Never seen so many people shopping and buying vehicles at one time.Awesome
by happy_ on 07/11/2014This was the best car purchasing experience I have ever had. My car salesman was great. He was both professional and friendly. I was in and out with my new Dodge Journey within three hours.Great experience
by ChargerSRT on 07/03/2014My wife and I had a great experience at AutoNation. Hubert did a great job helping us out. We didn't feel any pressure to make a decision or feel like we were hurried into anything. He took his time with us and met all of our needs. Chris,… with the financing department, was also very helpful and speedy. I would definitely recommend AutoNation and we will be going back for future car needs.will be back for all my cars
by reece6977 on 06/26/2014me and my whole family will be going here for all our auto needs,Best salesman I've ever dealt with.
by cbatx12 on 06/25/2014as business owners, we deal with sales people all of the time, and none have been on the level of our salesman, David P. he was very patient as we nit picked every little detail, making sure we got exactly what we wanted. he made sure to… understand what we were looking for, and made it obvious that he truly did understand what we wanted by the way he went about showing us vehicles, and guiding us through the whole deal. we bough an awesome truck, but had an even better salesman.A+ Dodge dealer
by RDucky on 06/21/2014One of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. They had a no haggle discounted price and made a good offer for my trade. They had a huge inventory of the model I was interested in. The only negative was in make ready. My tires had… 95 lbs of air and the floor mats were under lock and key by the time I left and had to be shipped to me. They did ship the next day and I received them the following day. It was not that big a deal compared to the overall positive experience. I would recommend this dealer to anyone.Service
by woodlands09 on 01/14/2009I came in for service work at this dealership. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the facility was and how professional and courteous Rob the service advisor was. I needed an oil change and i told him i had a coupon from another… dealership. He said ok that they would honor it. I was in and out of this dealership in 45 minutes and the bill was right on the coupon price. I will be backThe Worst Service Department I've encountered
by warrior86 on 11/15/2008Unprofessional and inefficient service department. We have been a customer of Spring Dodge in the past, but never again. We desperately needed their help today with what seemed to me to be a very simple question that any knowledgeable Dodge… service tech should know: Where is the sticker with the serpentine belt diagram located under the hood of a 2006 Dodge 3500 diesel truck? There is no sticker under the hood of our truck that we can find. We have even tried to buy a Chilton or Haynes manual and cannot find one even online for this model truck. Everyone online says: call the dealer, they can easily print one out. NOT SPRING DODGE. They have NO idea where the sticker is, will not print a diagram, and after leaving me on hold for over 15 minutes, made it clear that they are "far too busy" for me. Yah, I am busy too. And, I have been a good customer in the past and I really needed their help today. I will NEVER be back. I expect a relationship with my dealer that I can depend on. After 19 years of owning ONLY Dodge trucks and dealing with dealerships all over the Austin, San Antonio, and Houston areas, I can unequivocally say that I have never seen such apathy or unprofessionalism.Poor customer service
by emaier on 04/24/2008I purchased a town and country minivan from Spring Chrylser Jeep Dodge about 1 year ago. Shortly after I bought it, the driver side trim panel started to peel off (held on by 2-sided tape). I brought it in to be inspected, they agreed to… cover under warranty and they ordered parts. The new panel lasted a few months before it too started to loosen. I brought it in again, as they wouldn't order parts based on what I said over the phone, and they agreed that it was separating, hitting the front fender and shouldn't be that way. Again, they ordered parts and had me bring it in again. This time, after about 2 hours of being at the dealership, they informed me that the part was not painted. They had the part painted and I brought the vehicle back again. This time they installed it, but it was the wrong color! It was suggested that I call prior to bringing the vehicle back again to make sure that they were ready for it. On the day I called, my normal service advisor was sick, so I was handed off to a gentleman that was quite rude and who hung up on me when I asked for his name. I called to complain to the service manager and was called back. During our conversation, he apologized and then asked my current mileage. Upon hearing the mileage, he recommended having a normal service done. Based on our conversation, I believed that he was offering a complimentary service as an apology for the poor service and having to make 6 trips to resolve the issue. I had recently changed my oil, so I would not normally have had service at this point in time. When I picked up my vehicle, I was charged for the service. Upon questioning the service manager, he stated that it was never his intention to pay for the service. I believe him, as it shows the level of service at this dealership......They take a year to fix something, they are rude, and they lie to make sure that they get more money out of you. I will not use this service department again.Promises not kept!
by ramtruck on 04/01/2008I purchased my Ram truck at Spring Dodge in the fall of 2003. At that time I was told that if all my service was completed at that location, I would receive free tires when it was time to replace them. They used a flimsy loophole to… renege on that promise (one tire rotation was done at 7,000 miles instead of 6,000). I was also given a Chrysler/Dodge booklet that said I would receive free towing until my truck had 70,000 miles. When I had a blowout about a mile from the dealership, they told me to call the 800 number and they would tow me in for free and they would change the tire. When I called the number they gave me, the man said the tow would be $63.00! I called my own service provider and paid $45,00 to have the tire changed. I would never do business with this dealership. They do not honor agreements.Horrible Service - Will not have my business again.
by niky on 08/11/2007Needed some service done on my truck. Called beforehand and was given a quote. I was very specific as to what needed to be done. Having arrived waited 15 minutes before being approached by the service adviser. In the meantime the shuttle… bus left and I needed a ride to work. Wanted to call my colleague to pick me up but was told by the adviser that the bus would be back in at most 30 mites. The bus was back in 1.5 hours. Later in the day was called by the same adviser and "naturally" everything I asked to check was "utterly worn and needed immediate replacement". Fine. He also tried to sell me some services that I did not need and did not ask him to do. Anyhow, he said my vehicle would be ready by 15:30. Great. I returned back to the dealership around 17:20 and to my surprise the vehicle still was not ready. It seemed like I was the only person left in the service department. My vehicle was only ready by 19:00. It took another 20 minutes to get the keys and pay for the service. And most annoyingly - they forgot to do the transmission service even though I gave the adviser a printout with a short list of services to be done when I first came in. The total price I paid for the service was about $300 over what the adviser originally quoted me over the phone even with transmission service, - that they forgot to do. Highly dissatisfied. They will never have my business again. The Best Dealership I've ever bought from..!!
by LawDawg57 on 06/04/2014updated 09/07/2025First, let me say, our salesman Rob P., was excellent..I have to say, we had an appointment with another person but they had moved on, Rob took over, had our information and was ready to help us. We had been to 3 other Jeep dealerships… before checking out Auto Nation Jeep...Those dealerships were ok but failed to inform us of "discounts" off the MSRP..We told Rob what we were looking for in a Jeep, from standard equipment, to the options that were already installed and what other options we needed installed..We put Rob to the test, test driving several 2DR and 4DR Jeeps, different axle ratios and options..Rob even took us to his "Viper/ Jeep" specialist to talk about Jeeps ability to tow what I needed and the proper axle ratio...Rob does carfe about his customers and iot shows, Rob has an excellent knowledge of the workings of a Jeep and we were impressed, we didn't ask, he showed us the workings and was excited to show us, this is what an excellent salesperson will do, they will know the inside and out of their vehicles..Rob, assisted us in the entire process, from walking into the dealership, to finance, to make ready and once the papers were signed, and we also got a much lower interest rate there, to the hand shake and drive out..It was late when we left and a Holiday weekend, I came back on a Tuesday to have running boards and a tow package installed and Rob met me in the Service area, got my Jeep in, parts installed and off and running.... I can honestly say, Auto Nation Spring Jeep is the place to go, everything was comfortable, no stress or pressure..See Rob P., an excellent salesman that knows his vehicles.....Great Sales Experience - James L.

Five-Star USAA Service with Col. Larry C.
by tejascazadora on 07/01/2013updated 09/07/2025For those wishing to purchase a Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep vehicle in the greater Houston area, you can do no better than doing business with retired Col. Larry C. at Spring AutoNation. Having retired from service at the Pentagon, Col. C. came… home to Texas to do what he's done his whole life: serve. He only works with USAA buyers, and as a military man himself, has great empathy for military/former military and great knowledge about the USAA buying process. I sorta ran him through the mill; he gave me a great price on a 2013 Grand Cherokee Overland in exactly the color and interior I wanted, but I wanted a V6 and not a V8 then he found me a 2014 Overland again, exactly the color and interior I wanted AND a V6 but it had a CD player in the center console (between the seats) and I really needed the storage space there, and don't use CDs in the car anyway, just my iPod. So he located a THIRD vehicle for me, in just my choice of colors and features and as Goldilocks said, "This time it's just right!" Col. C. was completely unflappable and focused on my buying the right vehicle the whole time; the most patient man in the world! By far, the best buying experience EVER.
