  • Terrible experience with service here

    Bought my 2023 Powerboost Hybrid Lariat at AutoNation Katy. It’s a $70k truck. It’s been 6 months now since I bought the truck. Too many issues w the truck since I got it. A terrible service just makes the problems worse. I called to schedule an appointments for repair before I bring my truck in. They asked me to describe the problem(s) during the calls and I told them what they are. When I bring the truck there, they asked to describe the problems again and then tell me to either leave the truck there for few days w/o a loaner car or schedule another appointment to bring it back. What’s the point of the first appointment? They have done this multiple times and I am sick and tired of this place. I don’t recommend buy cars or trucks at this dealer and have your cars service here. A recent problem didn’t even get fixed and they created another problem after I picked it up. Bery frustrated w this place.

  • Trustworthy to bring F150 to for Service

    2nd time I used Autonation Ford Katy for service work. Went out of my way to take my vehicle to them (there are 3 dealerships that are closer) due to the service from first visit. Major service transmission overhaul, they got it done in reasonable amount of time. Service advisor Buddy/William was good to work with.

    My car went in because the engine light was on. They told us it was fixed we left and not even the next day and the engine light IS ON AGAIN.

  • Discrimination and bad treatment.

    I was there on Saturday for an oil change. The guy who receives my car asks me if I prefer someone who speaks Spanish. I answer yes and he directs me to the counter with “Daniel”, who was with another customer. I wait and when he finishes he continues with some papers without looking up. After a while he asks me in English if I need anything. I answer in Spanish after saying hello that I want to do an oil change, I answer in Spanish that yes and he asks me again in English for the phone number that I give him in Spanish and he corrects me in English. I tell him to wait and I go to the entrance to ask for someone who speaks Spanish. The supervisor comes in with me and tells Mr. Daniel that he should attend to me in Spanish, to which he responds, that I assumed that he spoke Spanish. From then on all the treatment was very rude and not at all friendly as befits someone who works with the public. I agree that English is spoken in this country, but in that same place my husband and I have bought 4 cars, 3 of them 0 miles for our family. And at that time we were attended to in Spanish, the language has never been a problem.

    Service was very prompt, technicians were pleasant and they took the time to keep me informed of status. They also explained problems so I understood them. A ride was scheduled for me before I even knew I might need one enabling less wait time.

    This is the first time having a good experience at Auto Nation. Usually everyone is walking around with greeting, speaking or acknowledging that I'm in the service. My service advisor was awesome. But when I asked more information on how to get my Sync working he did not have any experience on the matter. After this visit I will no longer buy or bring my car in for any reason.

    The service person who took care of me was very professional but I was first usher to an older white gentleman by the porter. When he came to his desk ask me who told me to come to him I said the guy who meet me at the express lane ,he said they don't know what they doing I am busy find someone else to help you. He sit on the right side of Mr Robert, he had no name tag. Very rude person. But the guy I went to was very professional . That's why I give a five star.

    I scheduled this pre-paid oil change in advance. All the people involved were courteous and professional. Unfortunately, this service visit lasted 2 hours. This is not the first scheduled service visit to last this long. Way too long for an oil change and tire rotation. The cost is basically the same as the oil change service store down the street but that is a walk=in business and rarely take over 30 minutes.

    I bought a battery expecting a Ford battery and got a generic Auto Nation battery. I'm OK with that but no one knows who backs LIFE TIME WARRANTY. Who do I call if I need a free jump-start?

  • Recall Never Rectified

    We were made aware of a recall about which we were told there were no parts. A year or more later, we receive a final notice to get the repair. We made an appt only to be told the repair would take 3 days. We called to find out if the repair was complete on the day we were advised it would be and were told they didn't have the part but they would call us to bring back the vehicle when the part that would be earmarked specifically for my vehicle arrived. It has been almost 2 more months and no one has called to have the recall repair completed.

    Received a recall notice that a replacement blower motor was available for my daughters Expedition. A few days later the motor started acting up. Called and made an appointment. Met with Mark in Service. He took care of everything that afternoon and said it would be ready within 24 to 48 hrs. The next afternoon I received a text notifying me that it was ready. Also received a video text from the service technician regarding the repair. Grabbed my daughter and ran by to pick it up. In and out real quick. Friendly, courteous, and fast. Thanks for your help. My daughter has 2 sons in car seats and its difficult to fit them into any smaller vehicle.
