  • The diagnosis on my ford explorer is wrong

    I brought in my car for a check for a rattling noise I hear on the front left wheel while in motion. They checked and said they didn’t see any sound but picked a stone lodged in the wheels. Unsatisfied I elaborate further on checking with bumps. On checking the concluded that the left arm was weak but doesn’t portend any danger to using the car until it’s changed and that it isn’t the source of the noise. I had to join them to go test drive the car with a supervisor perhaps. On checking the the noise didn’t come up again. I had to retrieve my car and leave. As soon as I left, barely three minutes after the same sound returned. I called Thomas Dustin’s service line which he had used in calling me while I waited at the reception. No one picked up, I however left a voice message to complain that the noise returned. The noise is quite troubling and makes driving uncomfortable.

    I did an appointment set-up on line but when I got to the service department they had no record of it, even when I showed my conformation sheet I had printed up with the price of $49.95 however I was charged $108.22! Secondly I have been coming to ford to get my oil change and the total inspection and was told that two of my lock key lug nuts were missing at that time the service rep, check and said there were no previous mention of my lock key lug nuts missing, I told him this is the only place that I have bought my tires from and get my car serviced and that I park my car in my garage. I was not offered to replace or giving the opportunity to replace them. Finally when my car was ready I had to wait without any information for the hold up, then after about 15 min. i had inquired and I was told that they had to clean my carpet because they had dirty it. I was not pleased with the service or the explanation. NOT HAPPY AT ALL!

    Oil change price was ridiculous because i was told a different price over the phone when i made appointment and fluids was not topped off for the money i paid for oil change.

    Amir Aldarwish is an excellent salesman to work with. By far, the best experience purchasing a new Ford. Amir was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions honestly. Only spent an hour and a half at the dealership before rolling out with my new Bronco.

    I recently purchased a 2023 F150 from AutoNation Ford Katy. Easily the best car buying experience I’ve had. The team is Demi Williams (sales), Jason Klein (finance) and Ryan Laskowski (GM) were great in answering my questions and informing me of everything I needed to know.     Unresponsive customer service after sale (for a missing part on new truck). Custom ordering the vehicle was a good experience. Internet sales manager was good. Finance experience was not great - high pressure tactics to get you to buy an extended warranty, trying to convince you that the vehicle is going to come apart the day after the factory warranty ends (is this the message Ford wants to convey, that the truck will last 3 years and then disintegrate before your eyes?). However, my main problem was after the sale. About a week and a half after buying the truck, I discovered that a very small plastic trim piece was missing from the rear fender (I must have been forgotten at the factory). I emailed the sales guy with a photo of the missing part and asked they they arrange to have the part shipped to me since it was obviously left off at the factory (we are talking about $20 retail cost for this piece of plastic). I get a really, really lame response, basically they can't do anything because I took too long to report it and the part might have fallen off. Give me a break! This part probably weighs 1 ounce and is held on by 3 screws, and you're telling me that in 300 miles three screws have come undone and the part fell off? Did you sell me a lemon, Autonation Ford? I asked that the matter be escalated to an upper manager, and even called asking to speak to a manager about it. I was put through to voicemail and it has been over a week and no return email or phone call. All I'm asking is that they provide me with this cheap part and provide me with a complete vehicle. It's not like I can call the factory at Dearborn to report this. It's not about the money, it just the point. But it seems that once they have your money they don't care about you anymore. They turned a 4+ star experience pre-sale to a 1-star review after the sale. Autonation, you guys have my email and my contact details, just send me the part. The cost to me at retail is $20 - it's probably costs you less than half that, but your utter lack of follow-up has earned you 1 star. Unless you make it right this is my first and only time buying from you.

    Derek over at Auto Nation gave me the two things I was looking for in a dealership when ordering my Bronco, and that is honesty, and keeping things simple. He never once tried to up sell me or feed me any lines throughout the entire process (which for the Bronco was a almost a year wait); in the end they not only kept there word with regards to selling at MSRP (most dealerships put a 5k up charge on Broncos) but Derek also ensured I had my price protection saving me $2500. Would absolutely recommend Derek and AutoNation Ford in Katy Tx

    A great experience! After searching thousands of F150 listings and the assistance of Max Uwagwe, my wife and I were able to find the exact truck that meet our families need. We had agreed upon replacing two new tires on the truck we were buying, and after buying the truck, the tires were ordered, delivered and installed at the dealership in a timely manner as promised.     I had an excellent experience by a new 2022 f130 truck. Robert Snowbarger did an excellent job. He did not try to sell me something i did not want. Sam (used car appraiser) gave me a fair price for my 2014 f150. I will go back to Katy Ford
