    We have been with this dealer and service dept since we bought our vehicle new in 2017. The day I bought my vehicle in it felt like if it could go wrong it did, wrong day - wrong spot picked online - and I really needed a few things done before my trip started the following week. Justin had me hang tight and took the car back immediately. He was honest, transparent, relatable and cared about what I needed and didn’t. He’s a true asset to your service dept. and I hope he’ll still be there the next time I need to bring the car in.

  • Great Sales Person and Sales Process

    Our experience with Kobie was one of compassion and listening to the needs/wants of the customer. Then the honest reality of what we wanted vs what we wanted to pay for it, but it didn't end there, Kobie worked hard to find a win-win for us and to get us the Jeep that we wanted for the price we wanted to pay. It is not often that a sales person would go the extra mile to find a win-win it is usually a win for the dealer and well if the customer wins the ok but not in this case. I would recommend Kobie to any one for finding and getting a vehicle that is what you need/want and make it happen across the sales process.

  • Window replace

    There appears a lack of internal communication on status and clearly an issue with updating and communicating with me. The work was finally done but of all times I was promised a call back, I received two. From when I took my truck in for ‘diagnosis’ to when it was repaired always about a month. In the meantime, I had no visibility on timing and had to call myself to pick up my vehicle while they better understood timing, path forward on leak repair and availability of resources to to make the repair/replace.

  • Oil related issues

    I received a promotion mailer back in April 2022 and decided to use Autonation for my oil change. It was my first time as a customer. The service rep and mgr at the time were great but the mechanic was horrible. He didn't do the oil change properly so once I got home I had oil all over my garage floor. It was so bad they sent the mechanic to my house to put kitty litter down to soak it up but that didn't help, the damage was done. They sent out a pressure washer but that didn't help either. I eventually had to pay $2k to get my garage epoxied bc it looked terrible and my house was only 1.5 years old at the time. They offered my next 3 oil changes complimentary. Fast forward to Oct-Dec and all of sudden my Jeep has oil leak issues. Took it in to be serviced and they believed the leak was from a gasket so they replaced free of charge. A few days later the leak returned so had to take the Jeep back for a week and they said it was the oil cooler/adapter. Paid close to $1k to get the fixed and so far, 2 weeks later, I haven't had any leaks. My service rep Korey is amazing at taking care of his customers. He's very knowledgeable and patient w/the concerns of his customers. He made a very stressful situation bearable just by being present and taking the time to keep me informed.

    Have been going to this Dealer since they opened this Katy Store, (formerly Allen Samuels Dodge - Jeep), and as usual they did a great job.     Had an amazing experience at AutoNation Katy where I bought my first Jeep Wrangler Sport from. The Sales Rep Drew Brower is very knowledgeable, has a passion for cars, and loves to guide the customers about everything and anything related to cars.     Expected more from an AutoNation dealership. A complete waste of my time. I made every effort to give them my business. I’m speechless. No one there really seemed to care about selling me a car. First off, this a greedy dealership that cares more about lining their pockets than anything else. I was all set to order a 2022 Charger Hellcat for my wife as a gift for our 20th anniversary. I found an extremely good deal at a dealership that’s very active and well known on the Dodge forums. https://www.chargerhellcat.org/threads/8-off-msrp-on-all-2022-dodge-factory-orders.11573 The dealership in the above post, Koons CDJR, will order any Dodge for you at 8 percent off MSRP no other BS, just MSRP, 899 in doc fees plus TTL. Yes, this includes the hellcat widebody! I started the process with them and found out that only 10 colors are available for order right now on the charger. There is a particular color my wife wanted and it’s a 20-year anniversary gift, I don’t want her to settle on a color she doesn’t really like. That’s when I discovered that AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Katy had one in transit. After a trip to dealership and a few conversions later that day I finally agreed to pay 5000 over MSRP and place a deposit on the vehicle. I asked them to put an offer together with my trade so I could see where all the numbers came out. A day had passed so I decided to go back up to the dealership. I drove up there with my trade this time so we could work out the final numbers. I hand my keys to salesman so they can appraise the vehicle. He asked the typical sneaky question, “Who is the car financed through?” I replied it’s through Chrysler. They ask this so they can look up the payoff and lowball you, usually offering a couple thousand over the payoff should you be in positive equity situation. That’s exactly what happened, when he comes back, they offer me 3000 over my payoff which is way less than what it’s worth. The salesman didn’t even try. In most cases they go back to the GM and see if they can offer more. Earlier that day I submitted an online appraisal on this dealerships website and already had a certified AutoNation offer 4000 higher than what this salesman just came back with. Plus, I had a Vroom offer 6000 higher. With Vroom that’s guaranteed. They even come and pick up the car! If you take the car to a Vroom location the offer is usually a little higher as well. The only reason I’m trying to trade the car at AutoNation is because it will save 2500 in sales tax by combining it with this purchase. My point is at no time did I feel this dealership was trying to work with me, not even a little! I was very flexible and realistic with my expectations. At no point did I try and get them to match the above deal because I knew they would want more since the vehicle was in transit and not an order. After the low trade offer I had enough and left. It had become abundantly clear at this point the dealership didn’t give a you know what about earning my business. I’m 40 years old, I’ve purchased my fair share of vehicles. I have to say I’ve never had a dealership put so little effort into selling me a car! Look at the situation. The above dealership is obviously still making a decent profit at 8 percent off MSRP. It’s not a new program they have had that promotion and similar ones for years. I’m ready to pull the trigger and give AutoNation an easy sale. Plus, I’m paying 12,000 more for the exact same make, model and trim compared to Koons CDJR. Then they have the audacity to offer me way less than what my trade is worth. My previous experiences with other AutoNation locations have been great. I just purchased a car for myself at a different AutoNation in July. They went above and beyond. That purchase was probably the most pleasant car buying experience I’ve had. There’s a huge difference between making a healthy profit and screwing people over if you want the latter shop here.

    They lack customer service, I have reached out several times in regards to problems with my recent car purchase and nobody has returned my calls even though they said they would. And my calls have since gone unanswered. I’ve never experienced anything like this before when purchasing a vehicle and I am still shocked how they manage to get away with being dishonest with their customers.

  • Easy experience

    This is the first time we have ever bought a used vehicle, and the first time we have bought from another dealership. Zavien was our salesman and was very helpful in locating what I wanted even though it was at another one of their dealerships. Once finance numbers were done and approved, he personally went to go pick up the vehicle for us. The process was pretty quick and easy. Our finance manager was great and even helped us out with some extras we were wanting to purchase, by pointing us in the right direction. My only complaint is the service department was really backed up so the vehicle we purchased wasn't cleaned like it should have been.

    I have always come to this location for service even though I am only a few miles from a different location. I do this because of the service and my service advisor, Derrick Forman. The only issue was the time it took for an oil change. I can only think it was because they were short staffed. I will always come back to this location. Derrick found a great service contract for me, for that I really appreciate.

  • Worst Oil Change Service Ever!!

    I made an appointment 2days in advance. Arrived ten minutes early(I was told my oil change would take 45min- 1hr) and after being at the appointment for an hour and a half was told I had to wait another hour for my oil filter to be delivered. My oil change took over 3 hours and when I finally had my car returned the oil life was still reading 10%!! Was my oil really changed??!!!!!

  • What I thought was too good to be true… was…

    Mr. Chavez was awesome in getting us taken care of during the paperwork / signing period. He kept us well informed and was honest about not knowing something if we asked, but was quick to find an answer for us. Got us taken care of and approved for the truck I’ve wanted for a while…. Now the nightmare, not but 24hrs later, the radio started ‘ghosting’ (changing stations on its own, changing inputs. If Bluetooth was connected making random calls, even emergency calls to 911 (that was fun). Driver side running board was not operating properly operating, the driver side window would not roll up automatically, back seat wouldn’t fold correctly up, and the breaks squeal. Was told by our salesman that we would be taken care of, and the exact opposite has happened. I found all of those issues in the first 24-48 hours, but the vehicle was said to have “gone thru an (however many point) inspection….” Ya, right! I’m no Certified Mechanic, but I’m not oblivious to know something is wrong either…. They asked us to bring it in to review and address the issues which meant to me that they are accepting responsibility and fixing it. So I setup a time to bring it in. My warranty was adjusted to ensure accommodation for the issues to be repaired… or so I thought. Buddy, works in the service department, has been exceptional on helping us and trying his best to get us taken care of and has hit road blocks by taking it thru the proper channels. At this point, it’s no one wanting to take responsibility for what management knows is wrong, and how shady this is becoming. Now my salesman has said he won’t be in for a couple of weeks and referred me to another rep. (These are not all of the details, but the cliff note version). I am happy to work with and speak to whomever I need to in order to address the issues and begin repairs. If nothing can be done then, I would like to return the vehicle and get my down payment back.

    We believe the warranty work was completed. However, we declined the oil change and tire rotation once we were told the cost ($89). We were told oil change and tire rotation were completed anyway. We were not given our keys until the $89 was paid. Dealership is less than 2 miles from our home. Dispite that, we'll be going elsewhere for all new warranty and service work.
