An Experience Worth Repeating

The sale was conducted long distance through the excellent assistance of DeAngelo (Sale Rep) and their management team. I found them to be forthright and… trustworthy in what services had been provided to the vehicle, any anomalies or known issues, and the handling of the actual purchase and shipping of the vehicle was almost painless. The purchased vehicle arrived at my destination without any visible or noted damage, excellent handling. Great experience with only one set back.

I was told afterwards that it was still am awesome deal but don't feel totally satisfied after this encounter. Turnaround time is entirely too long. I believe my car is just being held there &… I'm paying for work that's not even being done. My service Lady is super nice & a wonderful person. We went on 2 test drives and then we searched for the BMW with all the options I was looking… for. I had it with 3 days. Lots of promises with no follow up
by David Hamby on 10/12/2023I live in Ga and found a truck online at this dealer in Houston. I've never bought sight un-seen but they made me feel real confident that the truck was in great shape inside and out. I was told they have a 120 point inspection and that… they are very thorough. That they would go through everything especially since I was coming from so far. "we make sure everything is the way it should be mechanically, if the valve cover is leaking we replace it, if a hose is bad we replace it." They say they can ship it for $1800 so I fly 800 miles to drive back. I will say they put new tires on it and changed the oil. That's where the 120 point inspection stopped. They put a cheap glue on dash cover on it. It has a busted transmission mount, the motor started ticking, stabilizer bar links are visibly shot,the windshield wipers were completely dryrotted and coming apart. Oh, even the valve cover gaskets the salesman said they would replace are leaking. I was told "because we are a new BMW dealer 90% of our trade-ins go straight to the auction, this truck is in such good condition we put it on our lot!" "If you are patient we will make sure you have a great truck." I waited almost two weeks for them to finish up on repairs, flew out to pickup feeling very confident that they really put this much effort into the truck. Nothing was what they promised. but here I am in need of a vehicle and 800 miles from home: oh, did i mention they ran my credit 6 times when I had a credit score of 700. I did buy it because I was in this situation with limited options to get back to Ga. There is no honesty, no follow through and definitely no integrity with this dealership.Hi David, we are deeply disappointed by your experience at BMW of Houston North. Customer Satisfaction
by KarolKarol on 10/03/2023Customer satisfaction is seemingly fading with the times. After attempting to pay cash for the auto, my cash payment was looked at as trash. Dealerships including this one like to dictate to the buyer what their money is not allowed to do… for them. The sales team at this facility disregarded my request by not honoring my style of financial gains. I prefer not to be tied to any dictations of a loan. After speaking with the sales manager I learned that the prices listed for vehicles are not negotiable. Therefore I ended up paying more than what the used vehicle is worth, and tied into a load. After investigation I learned that the prices of Auto Nation vehicles are negotiable. I also found this listed in an Ad that was presented by another Auto Nation Dearer. I later found that the vehicle was not certified based on a thorough inspection as the tank for the wiper solution has a leak and the left driver wheel bearing/joint need replacement as it's leaking fluid as well. Absolutely no inspection was given to this vehicle. The left front day time driver light is damaged. There is no way this vehicle was inspected before being listed as certified. This particular location is flooded with men. I felt like I was at a tittle bar.Hello, thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. To this date nothing has been done. They have a reply to contact the GM. That was for show only as the GM and no one else in the dealership will return my calls. I’m seeking an attorney at this point
Service was Great, but Presentation (Detailing) was Abysmal
by Jon Franks on 09/30/2023I recently purchased a used vehicle from the BMW dealership in Houston and wanted to share my experience. While the customer service I received was commendable, I cannot overlook the disappointing quality of detailing provided for the… car. Upon the purchase, I was assured that the vehicle would be thoroughly cleaned. However, upon inspection, I discovered that the car still had visible stains on the interior, and there were leaves and cobwebs scattered over the exterior. This lack of attention to detail was completely unacceptable, especially considering the reputation of the dealership. I appreciate the efforts of the staff in providing excellent customer service, but the oversight in the cleaning process left me dissatisfied. When purchasing a premium vehicle, I expected a higher standard of cleanliness. It's disheartening to feel that the dealership did not uphold the same level of quality in the detailing as they did in their customer service, especially for a customer who waits hours for the detailing to be completed. I hope the dealership takes this feedback seriously and works on improving the quality of their vehicle detailing services. by Mark Winkler on 09/30/2023We purchased a previously leased X1 with approximately 31,000 miles late April, 2023. It was BMW Certified on 3/31/2023 (3 weeks prior to our purchase). About 5 weeks after our purchase, the dashboard alarm started saying we needed to… replace the rear brakes. We waited a couple weeks before calling the dealership to schedule an appointment to understand the problem. It was a 2 month wait to get into the service department. In the meantime, I asked for the service report on the car prior to our purchase. The report was conducted March 31st, (3 weeks prior to our purchase), and showed the rear brakes were then at the minimum! You knew a brake job was necessary. Very disappointed in it taking 2 months to schedule a service appointment, and that we had to pay for a brake job that you knew was imminent.Hi Mark, we regret to hear that you are displeased with your recent experience with us. BMW North Service Department
by ginadanie on 09/28/2023I want to express my sincere disappointment with my recent experience at the BMW North service department. My trust and confidence in the integrity of their employees have been significantly shaken. Six weeks ago, I scheduled an… appointment for a service light indicating an issue with the passenger seat airbags in my 2022 x4. While I understand that loaner car availability can be limited, it was frustrating to wait for six weeks before getting an appointment. Upon receiving a loaner car (i330) that wasn't suitable for my needs due to discomfort, I called to express my concerns. However, my interaction with the service advisor, Adrian, left me deeply disappointed. His unprofessional approach, particularly addressing me during work hours and accusing me of causing damage to the car's seat, was not only offensive but baseless. Adrian claimed there was a $7,000 repair cost due to a spill on the seat, but the spill was minor and happened outside the central area of the seat. I had recently had a thorough detailing of my car in anticipation of the service appointment, making his claim questionable. Despite attempting to contact the service manager, James, for assistance, I received no response from him, leaving me to deal with Adrian's unprofessionalism on my own. Consequently, I reached out to BMW corporate customer relations. Sadly, the response I received from them was also disheartening, as they seemed to favor the service department's perspective without proper investigation. Upon contacting the GM at the location, I received no resolution to my concerns, even though it was evident that the damage was minimal and confined to the knee rest of the seat. The GM's decision to side with Adrian further exacerbated my dissatisfaction. When I picked up my car, it was not in the best condition. It was not washed, and I had to address issues regarding the fuel level. Adrian insisted that the car was returned on empty, but I have evidence to the contrary through video and photos taken upon my drop-off. I hope that my feedback helps improve the service department's operations at BMW North. The overall experience was far from the standard of quality I expect from a reputable brand like BMW.
