    totally thought I was going to be there for a very long time. But these guys mean business and Mark was very professional. Mark took care of me from beginning to end and was able to give me all the information needed without hesitation. Keep up the great work Mark!
  • Decent service can be improved a lot

    The dealership is good. My salesman was also great. But they lack communication amongst themselves (the finance, sales and service departments). I needed Mud flaps fittened to my car and for one small thing I had to visit 4 times. The service and parts guys have got me frustrated. Didn't expect this from them. Even to get my finance approved I visisted 2 times and both times I waited over three hours. I had called before I went and they said everything was ready but when I went it wasn't and my sales guy didn't know what the finance was upto. This was my first car so my overall experience was good. But in general they are all behind you until you agree to buy the car and then they don't hold things that tight.

    This dealership always does a good job and takes good care of me as a customer. They are honest and tell you what your vehicle needs urgently and what can wait. I have always had a good experience with this dealer and my truck runs better after I take it there.

    I think Jared was very nice, however, I had to wait almost an hour to get an estimate, I think estimates shouldn't take that long, should be able to be done immediately. Than wait another 2 hours for the service. When the car was ready I paid at the desk and the girls there were very unhelpful. She said my keys should be coming up. I said my car is right there, maybe the keys are in the car, she said "oh no they never leave them in the car". When the bill comes up the keys should be with it. After waiting another 15 minutes, I decided to check the car, guess what the keys were in it. So another wasted 15 minutes. If the keys don't come up right away those girls should have been looking for them for me, instead of having me wait. So again Jared nice, estimate slow, no idea how long the service would take, no estimate on that time and the girls at the front desk were worthless. I had the wheel well insert, that online is $25-75 you guys charged $110 then charged me an outrages fee to pop it in. It cost me $250 for that and a filter with my oil change, ridiculous.

    I highly recommend working with Laura Deen here if you are in the market to buy a new car. I had an exceptional experience working with her! She lured me over to the Toyota family after years with Fords. Laura helped me out with navigating the stressful world of the car buying experience (which I dreaded up until meeting her) and with finding the perfect vehicle that matched my lifestyle. She has the best personality, was incredibly patient as I went back and forth in my decision on the right vehicle (was never pushy) and absolutely knows her stuff. You can tell she enjoys what she does and does it very well!! Laura will be the biggest reason that I will return to AutoNation South Austin for any future vehicle needs.

    Weeks ago, I contacted a certain wholesale membership warehouse auto buying service about a 2016 Toyota Prius. The result was underwhelming: An email from a local dealership stating "Make an appointment and come see us about pricing." Appointment, huh? Nice. Before making that appointment, I also inquired about the same year/model at AutoNation Toyota South, explaining my approach. Within hours I had a proposal (based on the presumed value of my trade) -- no "sales appointment" necessary. This is how internet sales were meant to unfold. Mr. Frank Lopez, a very straightforward gentleman to work with, soon had my vehicle delivered from another Toyota dealership across Texas. Pricing, with incentives and trade, was impressive. I've relied on their service department for years, and had the impression that their customers weren't being gamed. No surprises or haggling awaited me, just dedicated effort on Frank's part. This was a stress-free purchase, hence my review. Advice: Be honest when visiting any dealership sales team. Many take great pride in finding you the right vehicle at the right price. AutoNation Toyota South just demonstrated that reality for me, and similar reviews on this site back up my experience.

    Bought a 2017 Toyota RAV4, my sales person Sonny Locket was very very helpful. He Answered all my questions and showed me all the bells and whistles of my new vehicle. Although the wait for the finance department was a quite long he was very helpful as well

    The sales staff and financing manager were excellent and very patient with a newbie to leasing. They spent a good deal of yime with me and answered all of my questions. They remain in touch and continue to be as helpful as the time of the original transaction.

    Wow! Once in a great while you're lucky enough to find a Team of individuals who genuinely care about delivering world-class service! Autonation Toyota is that Team.     My Toyota Hybrid Hylander is 6 years old this month. It still runs and looks like a new car because of my service from Autonation Toyota. They tell me several months before anything needs to be done to give me time to think about it. They are always prompt, courteous, and thorough. I appreciate that. I had to get a warranty oil change in Chicago after a long trip. I called my service person in Austin who gave my Chicago service person the info so that my service was at no charge. These two cities are in different warranty service areas. I always will appreciate her time to help me!

    Art Gomez has been my service representative since I bought my car in 2005. He is absolutely fantastic! He has ALWAYS been professional, patient, kind, and prompt. I would definitely buy another car from you as long as Art is my service rep. He deserves a pay raise and special accommodation. I have seen the other reps and no one treats their customers like Art has always treated me. I cannot say enough good things about him.   • Lease Return

    How was my experience? It was terrible. I called in weeks ahead to schedule my lease-end return. I paid off the vehicle early and turned it in early to avoid extra charges. No one was there to help. No one had any clue how the lease process works. Nor did they give me any receipt or paperwork or anything at all when returning the vehicle. Months go by and surprise! Toyota Financial Services is calling me asking where the car is and is asking me for more payments. AFTER I paid off the vehicle and returned it to THIS AUTONATION (South Austin). Called the Sales/Lease Manager and his office and left voicemails asking for help. NEVER received a call. Not One. This place is a joke. Beware DON"T waste your time.

    Epi Rodriguez has been my service Advisor since I bought the vehicle. My 2007 Tacoma runs like new and I intend to keep it that way by continuing to have it serviced AutoNation South Austin as long as Epi is there.

    My Experience was good. Bought a 2016 Highlander. Our Sales person Mr. Naseer Ahmed went above and beyond to take care of us. I recommend you go see him if you would like to buy a car. He is experienced and will give you the best advice. You don't feel pressured to maker a decision. Auto nation Toyota overall is a good dealership and they are competitive with their pricing.
