by Galway1 on 11/03/2018I have owned two Mazdaâs over the last several years and I have always had excellent service and short wait times. The staff is great. When did Mazda become a jiffy lube?
by maddog8755 on 10/28/2018We went in to get the battery replaced for the third time in just over three years. They can't find what is causing the batteries to die. The last battery was under warranty but the car warranty was expired so it also voided the warranty on… the battery. That was a bit suspect but we replaced it anyway. During the time it was at the shop, we received a call from them asking if we wanted to replace the tires, change the air filter, etc. We did not need to be upsold when all we truly needed was to be able to start our car. We are going to search for another place to get our car serviced!Customer Service in Service Department Needs Improvement
by MazdaDrive2006 on 10/25/2018Took my Mazda in for general maintenance and was not impressed by the customer service. I was instructed that the service representative would call when car was done, nothing. Waited in the seating area for a car that was done. The… maintenance included tire rotation but the alignment is now off and I have to go to another dealership to get the job completed. When I checked out the Mazda service center the representative was unable to walk me through the bill. She did not understand the maintenance done on the vehicle. I am new to Austin and will not go back to this dealership. I have been a Mazda owner for over ten years and I am appalled by the lack of knowledge and professionalism in this service department.Kudos
by MazdaGirl on 10/19/2018I took my 2017 Mazda 3 for an oil change and am very pleased. Itâs always a pleasant experience at Mazda Central; Great staff, quality vehicles, and honest. I have owned 3 Mazdaâs and will continue to purchase them.Much better than I was expecting
by ted209er on 09/06/2018It's been a while since I've bought a car from a dealership, and had previously gone with "no hassle" price options to avoid having to deal with a car 'salesman'. A good labor day special enticed me to brave the car dealership storm, but I… came a way pleasantly surprised. I was never pressured into upgrading to anything, and actually felt that the experience was much easier and smoother than I've had at certain "no hassle" outfits. I will definitely be bringing my business back here when it's time to upgrade my wife's car.No Pressure
by Sageoff1977 on 09/01/2018I dread the prospect of buying a new car but my experience at Roger Beasley Mazda Central was extremely pleasant. Michael Fuentes provided my wife and me with solid information on the cars we were interested in, and he never applied… pressure or tried to steer us into buying something outside of our price range. That helpful tone carried through to the entire staff. Everyone we dealt with seemed to have a genuine desire to make sure our car-shopping experience was a pleasant one. In the end, we made a purchase that we feel very good about. I highly recommend Roger Beasley Mazda Central.Great service and even greater ownership
by babymazda2008 on 08/29/2018I was in last week for an oil change, and there was a little issue with the shuttle leaving me behind. I made the issue known with the service guy and he immediately remedied the problem. I enjoy my hour there, it gives me time for coffee,… a pastry, and to read and actual hard copy of the American Statesman. :)great sale experience
by Siobhan_J on 08/21/2018I was nervous about being bombarded by the sales team but Rhett Hard was not pushy in anyway. He was accommodating and very knowledgable and provided great advice on my purchase as whether to buy new or CPO. I would definitely go back to… them for another car if I need it.Short and Sweet
by MJBoynton on 08/19/2018I took the car in to have the Heads Up Display looked. Within 15 minutes they found the issue. Excellent Service.Best test drive experience ever, friendly salesman, nice experience
by Littlesun on 08/12/2018I was greeted with a smile and a warm handshake, all my questions were answered knowledgeably. Test drive was fantastic, with James my salesman. They honored the price they quoted me online. All in all a pleasure to do business with them.… Hope the service does not turn out for me like these other folks :0Good
by Sandcrab1954 on 08/12/2018Enjoyed the whole process. I'm pretty sure I could have negotiated the price down a bit but I'm not great at that. Donnie Little was knowledgeable, amenable, and approachable. My only complaint is the back center sear belt is missing… the blade part making the belt unusuable. This was mentioned in the pre-sale but didn't get done in the servicing. I called Mr. Little and left a message. One more. The back seat was missing all 3 headrests. I mentioned this to one of the people helping but I don't think it was written down.Rushed Incomplete Work
by bbatsche on 08/01/2018Got my 30k mile service, Tires were rotated but not properly balanced so now my handling above 40mph fees wobbly and loose.Yikes
by TzarDZ90 on 07/31/2018I'm not exactly sure when I crossed the "I'm never ever coming back here again" line, maybe... Maybe it was the broken water fountains. Maybe it was the backed up toilet with someone's underwear inside. Or maybe, in the 100 degree heat,… they referred my 63 year-old mother the use of a vending machine instead of offering the refrigerated water bottles that they had. Maybe it was test driving a vehicle that was out of gas. Or, maybe it was when they blatantly lied about the 0% financing being a better deal than cashback after I'd already ran the numbers. Maybe it was when, after putting down a $500 payment to place a hold on a vehicle, they still sold it. Or was it lot damage? I'm not sure because I was told both. Maybe it was because I only found out the above when they brought me the vehicle I'd put a hold on, which turned out to be a completely different vehicle and trim. Not sure how VIN numbers and model editions can be confused so easily, but it was extremely disappointing. The Financial Officer was great, professional and efficient. They were also willing to bump the front wheel drive to an all wheel drive as a result of the catastrophe, so kudos for that. The vehicle itself is great, but no, I'm never ever going back there again. I'll drive to the next city (Georgetown?) rather than deal with such incompetence again.Amazing sales individual!
by KrisCDavis on 07/28/2018Steve was an amazing sales individual! He was informative friendly and eager to provide me with all relative information he thought would be beneficial to me. He literally got on his knees and cleaned my grill when a small scratch was… discovered resolving my issue! He was amazing! You guys need more sales people like him! Thank you very much!End result = NADA
by PDOOLEY_1 on 07/26/2018I brought my car in to resolve two issues and get my oil changed. I described both issues (one of which I believe was caused by Roger Beasley in my previous service appointment!) in great detail when I booked the appointment. Then the… morning of my appointment, someone called and asked me to describe again. Which I did. Then around noon, a third person called to ask me to describe. Then I played phone tag with the "service manager" all day and at 5:00 he left me a voicemail saying they hadn't found anything. So I left my car an extra day. And they still never found anything. I'm giving two stars only because I did get the oil changed and they didn't charge me diagnostics, but my wheels still squeal whenever I turn and my entire sound system still just cuts in and out whenever it pleases.Oil Change Service
by Mrf0120 on 07/24/2018One, all though it is advertised on their website and on the sign at the dealership, loaner vehicles have never once been available when I've gotten my car serviced there. I was at one of the first appointments in the morning and when I… asked if there was one available, the employee just said "Nope". I have tried every time and they never have any. Then this last time I tried to get the shuttle to pick up my car, and I gave the time I was available and where I was. The shuttle operator responded by saying they couldn't so they were coming now. I was at work so I couldn't just leave. When I said that, someone called and said they weren't able to get me. It is just frustrating that these services are advertised but are not reasonably accessible. If there is a demand for this service that is unable to be met, supply needs to be increased. The one woman who called me to let me know the status of my vehicle was very pleasant and informative, and was really trying to be helpful.Rude staff, obviously not interested in my business
by AustinCarBuyer on 05/21/2018Went into Mazda Central but walked out fast. The guy who showed me my car was pleasant but the sales manager was rude and couldn't have cared less about selling me a car. I left and would never recommend Roger Beasley.Great service
by Perfection_2 on 12/11/2017Great service! They had a shuttle that dropped me off and picked me up while my car was being worked on; the driver was very nice. The service advisor I worked with was Saundra Fredericks, she actually went out of her way to help save… me money on my service. I can't say enough good things about my experience. It's good to know customer service isn't dead.Warranty/Recall
by LovemyMazda3 on 09/15/2017Made an appointment and took my car in to have minor recall issue repaired. The manager of the service department was helpful, knowledgable and quick to communicate and resolve issues.Recent Purchase 2012 Kia Optima-
by Bobbytam on 07/21/2017The finance experience was the most pleasant at the store. The salesman however, had absolutely no personality whatsoever. When we went to the dealership after texting back-and-forth, he set us in the seat and left and went to another room… and sat there the entire time we were there except for when we wanted to drive a vehicle. He thought we wanted to certain vehicle and had it already to go but when we changed our mind it seem like he got extremely upset. He didn't hardly talk to us the remainder of the night and I really did not appreciate that spending $24,000.Humiliated by Finance Director - showed us door
by ArvindKGarg on 10/22/2014The experience we had does not deserve even the 1 star, but there is no option to give less than one. I went this dealership to see Mazda CX-9 Touring on 10/18. Looked at one of the available car and then one of the managers came to see… me with all sorts of numbers. I already had the price negotiated from another dealership from Dallas. Very frankly, I told the manager to not waste his and my time and gave him my numbers and said if you can match or beat the numbers, call me and will buy the car as long as it works for my wife. The sales person called us in the evening saying - manager agreed to match the price but we need to buy the car today. I said, no way - we will not buy the car without properly test driving and making sure it works for us. Sales person said, that should be fine as long as we give him $500 deposit which will be non-refundable in case we back-out of the deal just because we got a lower price from somewhere else, but will be refundable if we back-out in case car does not work for us. Sales person said, this $500 deposit will lock the price for the car with similar options and trim. I agreed to the deal and gave him the card information. We also agreed for extended test drive in which we asked the Sales Person to provide the car which we could buy with all the options and trim we wanted. Sales person agreed to that and gave us the car we could buy. We asked the sales person multiple times that if we like it, we can buy the same car at the price agreed? He said yes. We brought the car home. The deal was for 2014 Mazda CX-9, Touring with Tech Package and few other options. We drove the car few miles, kept it overnight in our garage. In the morning, I noticed the sticker in the window of the car showing 2015 instead of 2014. Sales person called us in the afternoon to check if we liked the car. I said, Yes, we like the car and will come and buy the same car in the evening. During this discussion, I mentioned to sales person that car sticker is showing 2015 instead of 2014. He said, he is going to check and came back saying - oh by mistake he gave us 2015 car and there is $2500 more on 2015 car as compared to what we agreed. I said, we don't want 2015, but 2014 at the rate agreed upon. He said - he has only one 2014 car available with dark interior which we told him in the starting that it was not our preference. We understood his mistake of giving us 2015 car instead of 2014 and said since we are very specific about the price, we will come and look into other available car with dark interior and if we like it will buy, otherwise move on. He said, he will be out and someone else will work with me when we go to dealership. When we reached dealership, we looked into the other car and kind of decided to buy that. We went inside the dealership and one other sales person brought a new face so called "Finance Director" to meet us. Highly arrogant "Finance Director" started showing us numbers for 2015 CX-9. I said, don't show me these numbers, we already have the numbers and the car preferences we want. We are not going to spend single dime more on top of that for any other car. The Finance Director said - he cannot sell the 2015 car for the price we agreed. I said - I don't want 2015 car and why are you showing me 2015 car. He said, you don't like the other car so we cannot sell you that and cannot sell 2015 at our agreed upon price. I said, well - we not spending any more money and just want to get 2014 car. He said - in that case he won't sell any car to us and pointed us towards the door saying that door is right there please leave. I was with my wife and two small kids at the dealership and this arrogant Finance Director started misbehaving and humiliating me showing door and shouting that he is not going to sell any car to us while walking back and showing us the door that it's right there. A place with person like this at a position like "Finance Director", shouting, showing doors to customer, humiliating in front of the dealership and family - you can imagine the quality of product and services it's going to provide. Because of this I also lost the deal with other dealership and completely think this dealership used this tactics just to sell higher priced car than what was agreed upon.
