by bballj56 on 10/31/2016My husband and I would rather have root canals than shop for a new vehicle, BUT our experience with Samantha Kricker at Vandergriff Honda could not have been any better!! She was knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly. Samantha worked… hard with the sale manager to get us a deal my husband would agree to. We live 2 hours from the dealership. The van we purchased was not ready for us to take home, so we were given a different, new vehicle to drive home. Samantha delivered our new van to us when it was ready, so we didn't have to drive back down to Arlington and pick it up. This dealership went above and beyond with their service. We will shop there again!Great dealership
by VV_ACCORD on 09/04/2016I bought my second new car at this dealership. The salesman Jeromy Pruden was very patient in answering all questions. He gave demo of all the features while I did test driving. I traded my old car for a new Accord. Was satisfied with the… deal. But finance manager tried to sell different kind of warranties to me and I didn't agree to them. Finally he persuaded me to buy one and told that I'll get the papers in mail but even after a month I didn't get anything. I called the guy almost 15-20 times, left voicemail for him but to no success. Finally I went there to meet him and he said he didn't offer anything like that. They even brought the papers to me for cancelling the warranty. I complained to the manager Yuni that I never got what finance manager promised. I suggested to see the video-recording of the time of signing the papers. Yuni promised to look into the matter. After 2-3 weeks, I got a call from Vandergriff to come & settle the issue. Yuni took care of the matter. Overall: This is a great dealership but sometime you fall into wrong hands.Making it up for a minor mistake.

My initial car wasn't going to hit the target, so he recommended something different, and… I came out with a 2015 Honda Civic EX, loaded to the brim, with one heck of a deal. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and I recommend anyone that goes in to talk to Matt. He sells you a car just the way he'd want to be sold one, and it's obvious. Low-pressure, but hard-working. 5/5 will definitely return for my next car.Wonderful Service!

They had the vehicle I wanted at the price I wanted to pay. My salesman was Dungy Nguyen and he pulled out all the stops for… me. I am extremely pleased with the experience I had buying my third Honda and Dungy made all the difference--he even had them make me a second key at no cost to me. He was helpful but not annoying, which can be an occupational hazard for sales people. I highly recommend Dungy and Vandergriff Honda!Vandergriff is Great!
by landrey on 09/12/2015I LOVE MY HONDA ODYSSEY!!! It is like a car dream come true! I was looking for something that was economical, but yet could seat a family of 5 comfortably! We had to wait for the right time to get the car, but we were not in a hurry!… The timing was perfect! Matt Davis, our salesman was very nice. He was never pushy nor did he make us feel like we had to by all the "extras". He followed up many times with us after we bought our car. I can say that even though I am hard to get ahold of, I appreciate him going the extra mile! Thanks Matt for selling us a great car! Mike Symank, service coordinator was eager to show us different perks of having the car. I had to drop by for a concern that I had on the windshield and Mike was quick to take my car to get it washed. It was like having a brand new car all over again! I will definitely go to Mike when I need an oil change or any other service done on my car. VANDERGRIFF HONDA IS THE BEST AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MATT AND MIKE TO ANYONE!!!New car purchase

by omar20 on 06/30/2015I bought Honda accord 2012 used that still under Honda warranty. I asked sales man for car fax of the car he kept going in a circles and I asked him if the car had any accidents he replied no, I signed all the papers including the car fax… disclosure. Of course with all hundreds of papers to sign, and payed deposite, I forgot to see car fax. And the next day I went back to the dealer to pick up the car with the plates on it and take a look at car fax, the car had a minor accident and being painted at front pumber. I asked the manager what is this? He replyed that I signed the disclosure and this is my own fault. by amarieu on 05/06/2015After nearly 6 and one half hours of playing the "I have to talk to my manager" game and three times be chased down outside to come back in as we can make this work. We finally sign the sales agreement and left the dealership thinking we… bought a car. The next day we get a call telling my husband he needed to go back and sign new papers as we now had to put an addition $2700 down. My husband told them no, he was not signing any more papers. Then the phones calls started and pretty soon the calls got nasty and they became hostile and even threatening to report the car as stolen. Even tho we have a bill of sale and the keys. We asked for our car back and a refund on the down payment even tho I did not trust giving them my credit card number. The kicker to all this two of your personnel had the nerve to ask me to give them 5s on the company survey. Not going to happen as I will be reporting this to the BBB and Attorney General with all the details and the VIN number as we had the car for almost a week and put 600 miles on it and I want someone to know that this car is now a used car and can not be sold as new!Great People at This Location!

Not only was she more than helpful and informative on a sales level, she was also genuinely friendly and was willing to communicate with me on a human level. She's also… willing to stay in contact through email, which I feel is far more effective than calling customers incessantly about their interest in making a purchase. How many of us honestly want to answer a phone call from a sales representative in the age of modern technology anyway? Furthermore, I know how difficult and intimidating it can be to walk into a dealership full of complete strangers, trying their best to make sure you don't leave their lot without making a huge financial commitment that very day. I didn't feel pressured at all when I showed up to this location, mostly because I was able to ask for a specific person after setting up an appointment that very day. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience, and would absolutely recommend Vandergriff Honda for your next vehicle purchase!Purchase of Dodge Caliber

Then, they show you a different car loaded with over $3500 in dealer add-ons. They "claim" they have no cars without add-ons, so they… get you into a lesser added car for about $2000 over the price. Then the numbers game begins. Then you go into Finance where Salah & Co. will try to sell you more stuff. by awhite1234 on 10/05/2010Buying a vehicle is usually such a stressful experience. I have been pleasantly surprised not once but twice with Vandergriff. In 2004 my husband and I leased a Honda Accord. They gave us an amazing deal and really worked with us. This… past weekend we were ready to test drive a Honda Odessey. Since we had such a great experience there before we decided to go back. Our car salesman was wonderful! He was attentive without being pushy and took the time to explain many of the features in detail. When it came time to talk money we were spoken to with respect and consideration. We had a definite price point and were never encouraged to go over. Instead our salesperson worked with the finance team to find us different options. In fact, we asked to see the difference between a lease and purchase of a vehicle. They not only provided those two options but added three options for the lease (12,000 miles, 15,000 miles, 18,000). This really helped us to see all the choices we had available to us. We were so happy with the offer they gave us for our vehicle. Once we made our decision my husband and I were taken to the finance department to sign papers. Each paper presented to sign was explained in detail and the numbers were listed exactly as shown by the salesman. No surprises or tricks. This is usually where most dealerships end their process. That is not the case for Vandergriff. They go above and beyond to make sure that your new vehicle is explained to you. I am not a technology saavy person and thankfully I didn't have to be. My new blue tooth option was set up for me and then I was shown the process step-by-step. I went home knowing my car inside and out! Start to finish this process took about three hours. My husband and I were given many opportunities to talk as a family about the decisions were making. The employees gave us our space and as much time as we needed and the only idle time we had was initiated by us to make our decision. Some of process requires time such as test driving, learning about the vehicle, going over the finances and preparation of the vehicle (if purchased). From beginning to end this process was professional and we were shown complete respect. The best part was we could see the employees working together as a team to help us get a great deal for our family.
