by ny_1 on 08/13/2010Dealerships are typically ready to take your money; but Friendly Service is a winner. My invoice was paid but the problem was not fixed, this was an incomplete job and repeated attempts to resolve the issue went ignored by even the service… manager. The followup visit was met with a misdiagnosis of the problem (service tech invented another problem to blame it one) and an invoice for a diagnostic fee. Information on the service tickets re: the service performed was deceptive. Friendly Service does not represent the Honda brand very well. Friendly's Service department is dishonest, unreliable, and they certainly do not care about retaining customers. Based on this experience, I will never use Friendly Honda again for service or a car purchase.We are very sorry to learn that you do not feel we met your expectations and would truly welcome the opportunity to earn back your business. Good experience
by ssewhit on 12/23/2007Leased a new 2008 Glacier Blue CRV LX from Marie. Price was at invoice 21005, with little haggling. Helpful and accommodative. Smooth transaction started thru edmunds quote via Internet department. Friendly environment that did not seem… as adversarial as other dealers. The quote on my trade was weak so I sold my car elsewhere. Otherwise smooth transaction.A pleasure buying a vehicle here
by max34 on 08/25/2007I purchased my 2006 Civic EX coupe and a 2007 Accord EX-L from Justin Tomasulo. Justin made the sales process a pleasure. The only service I used was the first free oil change and inspection. The cars never had been brought back for a… problem. I had the civic for over a year and the accord for a few months. The dealership is organized, clean, and well run. Inventory is good. They had exactly what I wanted. I will definately buy my next Honda here.Great service

We had previous positive experience working with Jay H. - who was since promoted to sales manager - and Jay introduced us to Laura S. We appreciated… that Jay and Laura first listened to our needs. After initially looking for a late model Accord, Laura suggested an option to buy a remaining new 2013, and proceeded to work on our behalf to secure a great deal on exactly the car we wanted. The only downside was the poor detailing by the cleaning staff but that is being fixed. Very happy overall.Glad we're taking care of that oversight for you! 2013 Civic at Friendly Honda

Fact that Friendly participates in the AAA Auto Buying Program is also a plus. We were… interested in a Fit or Civic for commuting. Justin was assigned as our sales person. He was very knowledgeable, and showed us how the Civic was a better fit for our needs. Pricing (AAA Buying Program) and financing were very good. We were able to pick up the car a week after we made our final decision, with no hassle. All of the paperwork was handled smoothly and efficiently.It sounds like Justin took great care of you- we're glad to hear it. Enjoy your Honda!
Used Car Buying Process
by MarilynZ on 04/19/2013updated 07/27/2025I just bought a car at Friendly 3 days ago. I couldn't be happier with the experience I had. It was so easy. I saw a car online that they had and I wanted. Went in the next day and saw salesman Jimmy S. He was a pleasure to deal with. They… took the time to look at my trade-in and offered me a very fair price for it (not my experience at other dealerships). There was no haggling over the price of the vehicle I wanted - the price I saw online was the price I was given. Applied for credit and they called the next day to say the car was on hold for me pending my credit approval. And they actually removed the car from their online inventory immediately (unlike other dealerships I've dealt with). Went in two days later to pick up car and everything was ready. They even had all of my out of state registration paperwork ready to go for me. The finance guy Colin O. made time to take my calls and answer all of my questions. Never felt like I was just another sale or like I was being blown off. It was very refreshing to have such a smooth, easy experience buying a car. I WILL return to Friendly for my next vehicle and will let others know all about it. Overall good, but confusing service contract options
by oakley6 on 03/03/2014updated 07/27/2025I am very happy with the car -- it feels brand new (even though it's 3 years old), it rides like a dream, and I feel very safe driving it. Salesman Rick S. went the extra mile to find me a car that was exactly the model and year I wanted,… within my price range, and within the range of mileage I requested. The car even has a few extra features that weren't on my list, but which I am enjoying very much (such as the multiple CD system). Rick's patience and cheerfulness in helping me get just the right car was VERY much appreciated. However I am less than satisfied with the actual final business transaction at the time of sale, handled by Colin O.. The service contract options were very confusing. The columnar format with multiple options, and the relationship between the columns and options, was not intuitively obvious. The hand-written prices and multiple arrows between and within columns didn't help. It was overwhelming. Unfortunately, the more questions I asked, the less sure I was about the relative value of each option in my circumstances. What would have made for a better experience? 1) Clearer layout of the service options, showing the relationships between the options (including which are either/or choices, and which options are additive) 2) Information on the service options at the time of initial purchase agreement, so I could have a few days to review it before the actual day of the saleThank you for submitting this review, and for giving us the opportunity to work with you. We apologize that there was anything about the service contract process that was not perfectly streamlined. We are actually currently in the process of reviewing new software that will aid us in giving our customers an easier experience while reviewing such contracts, and so your review is timely for us. We went three times and on the third time we talked to their sales representative "Justin." I gave him a computer print out of… the make, model, color, accessories that we wanted to purchase and wrote the price I am willing pay. I did my research and really brought the price below invoice with accessories. They offered $500 above my offer and gave me a good trade in value for my 2003 Honda Accord. They don't have the silver exterior and need to locate my car. They say it will take 2-3 weeks. We got the car 5 days later with all the accessories installed.Thank you for sharing this excellent review! We appreciate your business and your recommendation.
2013 Honda Accord

We tried it on the local streets and the parkway, in traffic and out in the wide… open spaces. I almost felt guilty about all the miles we put on the demo. When we came to pick up the car He gave us an in-depth orientation. He really explained in detail and helped us in setting up all the vehicle settings and electronics. There are so many these days. The car has 3 separate cameras, collision warning, right turn camera, and backup camera. This is my third Honda from Friendlys. If the price and sales and shop service were not the best, I would not have returned. The service shop has always fixed it right the first timeWhat an awesome review.
