Dealership Sales Review
I am very happy with the car -- it feels brand new (even though it's 3 years old), it rides like a dream, and I feel very safe driving it. Salesman Rick S. went the extra mile to find me a car that was exactly the model and year I wanted, within my price range, and within the range of mileage I requested. The car even has a few extra features that weren't on my list, but which I am enjoying very much (such as the multiple CD system). Rick's patience and cheerfulness in helping me get just the right car was VERY much appreciated. However I am less than satisfied with the actual final business transaction at the time of sale, handled by Colin O.. The service contract options were very confusing. The columnar format with multiple options, and the relationship between the columns and options, was not intuitively obvious. The hand-written prices and multiple arrows between and within columns didn't help. It was overwhelming. Unfortunately, the more questions I asked, the less sure I was about the relative value of each option in my circumstances. What would have made for a better experience? 1) Clearer layout of the service options, showing the relationships between the options (including which are either/or choices, and which options are additive) 2) Information on the service options at the time of initial purchase agreement, so I could have a few days to review it before the actual day of the sale
