  • I was not happy about the service I received at Jim Tidwell Ford today

    I booked a 8:30 appointment for an oil change. I still had to wait two hour for that. I also booked a service for a $39.95 when they finished changing the oil the lady told me that what they offer online is different and my totally was $53.95. When I explained this to her she just stated the one one line is not offered there and did not seemed concerned and still made me pay the price I was not quoted and booked for. I told her that seems like a mix up from their side she agreed and still charged me the same.

    I went in to Tidwell Ford for regular maintenance. Oil/rotate/Ballance. The multipoint inspection showed my brakes were low @3mm / 5mm and recommended new pads and resurfacing rotor's. They had the parts and stock and could do it same day so I had the work done. It was the best money I spent on the truck so far. With the resurfaced rotors and balance my F150 rides smooth as new. The new brakes paid for themselves today by avoiding ana accident when someone stopped short in front of me and I was able to effortlessly stop on a dime. I really didn't notice over the years how much the brakes faded until they were replaced. Wow! What a difference.

  • avoid!!! or at least get a 2nd opinion!!

    Poor service, charging for repairs that don't need to be done, lying about the issue to try to justify the unneeded repair. Almost $4k later they finally replaced the $65 solenoid that the codes said we're the problem in the first place. I was also out 2k in rental cars for the month it took them to get it right. they screwed up the timing on the motor during the first repair. It's has no where near as much power and fuel economy is in thru the floor. We spend an average of $120k on new ford's yearly for our company, no more! New sequoia is coming to replace my expedition and tundras are replacing our f150s and 250s. A quick Google search will show this dealer is garbage, stay away!!

    I was told my scheduled oil change would take an hour and a half, which I thought was a little extreme for a Wednesday lunch. It ended up taking 2 hours and 15 minutes. The staff is always very friendly and the waiting room is very clean. However, that is an inordinate amount of time for an oil change and tire rotation. Let's do better next time.

    Car was in shop 4 months to replace an engine. I was given two updates during the project and they never returned my call. Most disappointing was the General Manager never returned my call. After calling corporate I finally got my car. They didn’t even have the courtesy to clean my car or put gas in it. Finally when I went for my emissions test it failed because they did not reset the computers. This used to be a great car dealership. This is the worst I have ever been treated as a paying customer
