  • Not great

    We had two issues we needed resolved, one open recall, one warranty issue. I planned to go ahead and have the oil changed while it was there for the other two things. Our salesman said he spoke with the service manager and I could call him and they could have wrapped up while we waited. I called numerous times and the service manager never answered. I ended up calling the general number and arranged an appointment for the above task. I explained that my wife would be waiting and he said it wasn’t an issue and could be wrapped up while she waited. We had a sick child and had to reschedule, I schedule an appointment for Saturday 2/26/22 and note the same items addressed above. We drove 45 minutes for the woman to now tell me it will take several days because the warranty guy and recall guy weren’t there and each task was going to be performed by a different person and it would be Monday before they were in. Ironically the only thing they could do was the paid job of the service, not the recall or warranty. If you value clarity and your time, go to another Ford dealer. I understand some things take time, but at no point was this going to be a several days long procedure until I was already there.

    Everything was very straight forward, honest, and professional. I did not finance through the dealer, but they were willing to work with my credit union to make things work in my favor. I generally do not like dealerships but this was a very positive experience.

    The entire team at Jim Tidwell Ford is so awesome. I have bought several cars here and it gets better every time. Oscar is the best salesman, hands down. The General Manager Jeremy is so nice and makes sure everything with your purchase goes great. I would highly recommend Jim Tidwell Ford to anyone needing a new car or truck.

    We bought our Ford F-150 there in 2002. Not driven full time because of a company truck. Our truck still looks & runs great. All service done at Tidwell Ford. We also appreciate the coupons they had.

    My service advisor was Candace Watwrman and she deliver exceptional service! When I took my car in, she listened intentionally of all the issues I had going on with my truck, then she repeated ba k to me each item I said. She was sure ti get me a rental because they had to keep ky truck for 2 weeks. During the 2 weeks, Candace called me throughout the weeks of what was going on with my car and to let me know she extended my rental each day! Thank you Candace for a great experience and your service!

    Great customer service they go above and beyond. I originally was going to wait while my oil change was completed but when I got there I needed to grab a bite. They ordered a Lyft for me to go to get some food and another one to bring me back. They are so professional and welcoming. I'll be back for my next service.

    Dislikes: Purchased a truck. Sales personal assumed my husband was going to be the main driver. Also asked if I needed help getting the truck out of a tight space. My husband was asked what he does for a living. A conversation starter. Totally fine but I have a really good job too. The truck was for me. I didn’t need help. I didn’t like the assumption that my husband was the breadwinner. Likes: Outside of the slight sexism, everyone was nice and professional. I don’t think anyone meant anything of it.

    I was able to schedule an appointment that was convenient for me. Vehicle maintenance was done quickly and efficiently. Received vehicle within the given time frame. All my requests were honored.     Advisor was great. Not real happy with the rest of the department. Told them problem was intermittent. They only drove the car 9 (!) miles and said they couldn't duplicate it. I am not happy. They are now trying to make it right. Service manager offered to go driving with me tomorrow to see it.

    Johnny, our service advisor, was very informative all the way through the process. The part that we need was on back order but since Johnny had told us ahead of time that that might be an issue, we were already aware. The process turned out as expected.

  • Positive attitude but wasted time

    The more I go to get my car service the more time I have to spend. I've never had to wait 2.5hrs for an oil change and tire rotation with an appointment. I was told I would be in and out in 1hr at the most. Very disappointed on the time wasted. I do appreciate the attitude of one of the service members who attempted to see what was taking so long. I do not forsee myself returning anytime soon.

    Came by for an oil change dropped the car off got a complimentary Lyft ride back and forth to the dealership picked up my car the rest was history, good service not too long of a wait. And the service advisor gave me a coupon as well
