Little critters
by Great customer service on 10/02/2019I had a little critter decide to have lunch on some wires of my 2018 Hyundai Ioniq wires. I had no idea that was the cause but it was found quickly, and Ethan Brown offered and sent pictures to show the damage. He had great customer service… and delivered as expected.Thank you so much for sharing your experience! I’m from MA and started to look outside the state and found Lia Hyundai in Endfield, CT. I was fortunate to get Lisa Caputo who was amazing. She was… knowledgeable, patient and just a friendly person to deal with. She went out of her way to make my life easier in the ever stressful world of buying a car. Any question I had she answered! She wanted to sell me what I wanted in a car. Other dealerships I had been to prior pushed cars they had a ton of. Ricky Nelson my salesman put me at ease, was friendly, empathetic and… genuine. Finance was a breeze. All in all the whole experience was about 3 hours. by BrookIzik on 07/19/2018Susan Roberts is an outstanding employee. It is so difficult these days to get good customer service, and Sue was a breath of fresh air. She was courteous understanding updated me as much as needed through text messages which I thought… was so helpful. She was eager to answer all my questions and even let me text her my coupon when I forgot it. Please recognize her as an outstanding employee. She is a huge contrast to whoever you have working the front desks when you walk in to sales. The girl there had blonde hair pulled back in a pony tail. We had received something in the mail about upgrading to a new Hyundai, you were having some promotion that following Saturday. I asked her about it on my way out and she gave me a short dont bother me youre stupid answer. I honestly was so thrown off by her rudeness I never came to the event on Saturday and I was actually considering purchasing a new vehicle. Be careful who you have working your show room, it makes all the difference sometimes in your sales.5 stars

Bryce Cyr, our salesperson, was personable, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. We felt comfortable,… not pressured at all, and Bryce truly addressed our car-buying needs. I'd buy a car from Bryce again for sure!Remarkably Bad Service
by Taken50 on 08/01/2016We took the car in for one thing and paid to fix that. We left and the car had a different engine light on. We took it back, they "fixed" that new problem, and charged us. We left and the same light came right back on. We do not live close… to Lia Hyundai, and so have to go to diff dealership. Lia refused to refund the payment for the problem they caused and "fixed" and are now not able to figure out what happened.Thanks for the feedback. I am sorry you were unhappy with the service we provided. As I explained to you over the phone, we would be happy to look at your vehicle and repair it at no charge to you if it is related to work that we did. Five months later went back and Lisa Caputo knew exactly why we were there and what we wanted… without hesitation. by 30yeardriver on 06/14/2014I wanted to trade an American made muscle car with 160,000 miles on it but still in great shape with a nice premium trim package for something with better gas economy. I chose the Hyundai Sonota because of their great reviews and started… looking on the internet. Lia Hyundai shares their ad space with their stores in Hartford and Enfield, CT and Albany NY. I found two cars I liked at a price I felt I could negotiate to what I can afford, both left-over '13s--one in 2.4 SE and one in the 2.0 turbo SE--but they were at the Albany store. I called the Hartford store and asked them how much of a hassle it was to get one of those cars to Hartford or Enfield for me to look at it, and they said it would be no problem. I then made an appointment to take my wife to the Enfield store because it was closest and had her test-drive two similar models, one of which she selected. These were loaded up brand-new '14s. I had told the sales guy on the phone before arriving and again as soon as I walked in that we were not interested in a '14 but were merely making a choice between the two models of the '13 leftovers in Albany. They pretended to listen and promptly launched into a pitch to get us to take a new '14 already on their lot, making promises that I knew they couldn't keep to match the price of the '13 in Albany. No way that was realistic, and I told them that. They said they would work with me to make it fit and I told them for the fourth time I wanted to buy the '13 leftover in Albany and could they get it down for me to look at?. They said they would see what they could do but it was clear that the sales manager was completely uninterested in anything I had to say when I wouldn't look at something he already had in stock. I waited for a phone call for a few days and called them back. The sales manager said he couldn't get that car for the price I wanted to pay so I said thanks anyways. A week later, I got a call-back...was I still looking for a car? I repeated my desire to look at the '13 turbo from Albany and was told they would talk to the GM and get back with me. After waiting two days for a return phone call again, I called and was told that they would not import the '13 from Albany without a deposit...for a car I had yet to lay eyes on. I said no problem, I'll go to Albany because by this time the asking price had just dropped $2,000 to exactly what I had told Enfield I wanted to pay to pay for that car. I called Albany and explained my experience with Enfield, and they guaranteed me the price I wanted over the phone. I took a day out of work to drive 110 miles one way for them to look at my trade-in and make a deal. The only problem was that money they offered me for my trade in was so ridiculously low I thought the sales guy was joking with me. They wanted me to give it to them for 25% of its true worth. I had gotten twice as much for a beat-to-death minivan with 265,000 miles on it five years earlier. I walked out feeling like I had been jerked around. The Albany guy was very inflexible considering that I had told them I would buy the car after looking at it and that I had a wad of cash in my pocket for a deposit. He didn't seem to care about that or the fact that I took a 2- hour drive for them to try to [non-permissible content removed] for my trade in. Either he thought I would be so desperate that I would go for his deal to justify the long ride or he talked to the guy I had argued with in Enfield and they set me up (no proof of this, just a feeling). Regardless, NEVER again will I have any dealing with ANY Lia dealership. Reading these reviews just confirmed that it was them and not me who was messed up in this deal.Very Poor Salespeople
by jm2010 on 06/21/2010This salesperson, Tom Lewis, is the worst salesperson I have ever seen. He made me wait, after I had made an appointment, and then basically brushed me off because he was still busy with another customer. Way to lose business for Hyundai,… Lewis! I ended up purchasing a Toyota (incidentally the Toyota dealership actually remembered that the customer is important!).I agree you have reason to be unhappy with me. I acknowledge we did have an appointment and I was managing 3 customers simultaneously. I was not able to provide you with my full attention. Our dealership that day was extremely busy and I'm sorry I wasn't able to give you the attention you wanted and deserved.
WARNING-GO ELSEWHERE

When I left to go discuss this major purchase with my husband, the statement was made that the sales "professional"(I use this term very loosely) felt that he… had been played. Excuse me, but just because I am not leaving with your vehicle, does not mean I played him. I believe that is his job to find the best deal possible. Then, upon leaving, the sales "manager" asked "what do you think?" I stated, I need to discuss this with my husband. I got a response of" That is not what I asked you, what do you think about the car?" By this point I felt very strong armed. When my husband was made aware of this treatment, needless to say, the car could not be given to us, we would be taking our business elsewhere. Upon notifying the sales professional, my husband was told that he is too aggressive and they do not want him a a customer. MY ADVICE GO ELSEWHERE!!!!not where anyone should buy a car

The salesperson seemed nice and friendly but they gave us a new car with load of scratches, chips and even the interior carpet was dirty. They told us it will be fixed while we were doing the… paperwork. When we were done and finally got our new car, all the scratches were still there! Then the salesperson told us to come back and have it done the next day. We believed him, so the next day we brought the car to the service area and showed them the problems, they drove our car inside. 1 hour later they came back and told us the scratches were too deep they couldn't do anything for us and gave us a paint pen to fill up the scratches ourself! We even noticed 2 new deeper scratches on our car's side !!!!! At that time, we were so disappointed we didn't wanna deal with these people anymore and drove back home!Their Prices are way too high
by jlgreer62 on 10/10/2009My 2007 Azera was due for it's 30,000 mile service. I decided to get estimates from Lia and from the dealer I purchased the car from in Holyoke Ma. Lia's price ($580) was more than double the quote from the other dealer and included… services that were NOT even recommended in the Hyundai service manual including a drain and flush of the air-conditioning system. They are a more convenient option for service as I live one town away. But if it means paying twice the cost I will drive the extra 20 minutes to Massachusetts.Awful sales service

Bought a one year old mini van - and was never told until all papers were signed that the remote was lost - and they… were only giving me one key, with no ability to remotely unlock doors. Had I know beforehand, I would have made a different decision about negotiated price, since these cost a few hundred dollars. When I contacted the sales manager to ask them to make it right, he not only refused, but was insulting and rude. Horrible customer service!Very happy

Lol they had the car I wanted, in a color that I wanted and the low mileage. I had been to another dealer… dealership so I know I got a good price. I would recommend this dealership
