Great Service @ Klein Honda
by imac59 on 02/10/2012updated 06/09/2025Just had our new Honda CR-V in for some parts we ordered. We had a great experience and highly recommend the team at Klein Honda.Disorganized, dont waste your time
by welcome2 on 09/15/2011updated 06/09/2025While the initial response to my request for a quote was very timely, follow up actions were poorly coordinated. I interacted with no less than 3 sales persons within just a few days and had to explain myself every time. A visit to the… dealership was not much more promising. The first sales person was neither familiar with the availability of basic options (i.e. power tail gate on Pilot EX-L) nor the features of the upcoming model year (i.e. 2012). My second visit was even more disappointing: I set up an appointment with one person, just to be handed over to the next sales person. While I had agreed to come for a new model, the sales person wanted to show me a used car that had even been cleaned yet. He tried to blame the mess on a previous test drive In summary: poor salesmanship does not instill any confidence that I will be treated right. I will take my money to another Honda dealership.Warning: Horrible Dealer! Made fun of my Disability & took advantage of me!
by speedysea on 07/25/2012updated 06/09/2025I was car shopping and inquired about a 2012 Honda CRV from Klein, I got an Internet quote. I immediately called Ryan because the price looked good and asked if I could come in and see the CRV EXL and hopefully purchase it and he replied… "YES, hurry up because it will sell soon!" I left work early and went to the dealership. I have had great experiences at Lynnwood Honda and Everett Mazda in the past so I actually enjoy going to the dealerships (upto this point). I arrived to Kliein and Ryan PAWNED ME OFF on another salesman because they did not have an EXL CRV and he did not want to tell me. They had an LX CRV and I was told that if I put Leather and new Wheels on an LX it would be an EXL and that they could "Install them for me, no problem." I should've done more research but I didn't and I later found out I was LIED TO! An EXL has many other options and you cannot turn an LX into an EXL. After all was said and done I bought it and was supposed to get Leather installed by making an appontment in a week or so. I waited for a phone call and never received it to schedule my appointment. I was frustrated so I went into the dealership and was told "You did not pay for Leather or different wheels!" I could NOT believe my ears, I paid as much for my LX CRV as an EXL would've cost me and I DID NOT EVEN GET WHAT THEY PROMISED ME! I was Lied to, the Managers were horrible to me and treated me like a joke laughing at my disability behind my back. I overheard them talking as I sitting waiting for finance and I was SO EMBARRASED I DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO, CRY OR SCREAM. I went home and was disgusted with them and want to sell my CRV now. I have never been treated so badly, I don't want the car I bought.Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at our store. We would like to apologize that you were not pleased with the service we provided. We aim for 100% customer satisfaction and we are sorry that we did not fulfill that goal during your visit. by cmagcoop on 01/24/2014updated 06/09/2025I am so satisfied with my experience at Klein Honda! It began with an inquiry through the Internet and Bebs was so helpful! I had a type of vehicle in mind and she was so excellent with assisting me in narrowing it down to two compact… SUVs. I really appreciated her professionalism and accommodating to my busy work schedule. When I arrived to the used car lot that evening, I was greeted immediately. John "JFK" assisted me in locating and test-driving the main vehicle I was interested in. He was patient with the questions I had and he was knowledgeable in the vehicle, which wasnt even a Hondait was a 2011 Nissan Rogue. I loved the car so much; I decided that it was going to be my new found treasure. Once it was time to purchase the car and close the deal, Darcee was very informative and genuine in sharing the significance of the paper work I was about to sign, as well as the importance of complementing the loan with GAP and extra warranties. It was such fast and friendly service throughout. It only took about 2.5 hours from the time I was greeted until the time I drove off in my new baby! This was my very first car purchase and overall it was PERFECT!!! Thank you, Klein Honda!KLEIN HONDA WILL NOT REPLACE DAMAGED SEAT BELT.
by francesca4 on 07/25/2013updated 06/09/2025A Couple of weeks ago I took I took my 2002 Honda Accord EX for servicing at Klein Honda in Everett, WA and told the service person that my left rear seat belt had to be replaced as it had been slowly fraying to the point that it was now… stuck in the retractor, and it was not unusable. I told him that I was told that seat belts have a life time warranty and he insisted before looking at my seat belt that they did not. When I told him that I did not agree with him he asked to look at the seat belt and said that they would have to charge me $595 to replace it. I went and did some research on the Internet regarding seat belt warranty and found many reviews where people had had a problem with their seat belt and had no problem having them replaced by their Honda dealer. Their dealers replaced their seat belt without question. I went back a few days later with information I had printed from the Internet and asked for the service manager. I was told by the assistant service manager if he could help me as the service manager was not in. I told him about my dispute regarding lifetime seat belt warranty and he told me that the warranty did not apply. You would think that as a service manager he would be knowledgeable about warranties pertaining to Honda. When I tried to show him the information I had printed, he would not even look at it and didn't even offer to look at my seat belt, and again insisted that they did not have a lifetime warranty. I told hm that I was very unhappy about the way this situation was being handled and he told me to come back the following Monday at 11:00 am and talk to the service manager to see what they could do. I can't understand why the left rear seat belt which is rarely used would continue to fray over time to the point of finally getting stuck in the retractor. It is rare for me to have people riding in the back seat and why only the left rear seat belt. Not only do I never allow anyone to drive my car I do not have children or pets that ride in the car at any time. The mileage in my car is barely at 58,000 miles, showing how little it is even driven. I came back the following Monday for my appointment with the service manager prepared with my 2002 Warranty Information and when I told the receptionist that I had an appointment at 11:00 am with the service manager no one knew about it. I was told to wait and when the service manager asked me about my problem, I explained it to him and again, without looking at my seat belt said they did not have a warranty. I took him out to look at my belt and showed him my warranty information book and told him to read it. The book reads: "Honda will repair or replace at it's option any Honda seat belt that fails to function properly during normal use. This includes all parts and labor charges. Under the heading: This warranty does not cover (1) Replacement of a properly functioning seat belt assembly strictly for cosmetic or comfort reasons. (2) Failure caused by abuse, alteration, accidental damage, misuse, or malfunction resulting from a collision. None of these apply to my seat belt, but it seems that the assistant manager read into the warranty what he wanted to read into it and again insisted that the warranty did not apply to my seat belt and refused to do anything about it. Before this seat belt situation happened, I had decided that I was ready to purchase a new Honda and had been talking to the sales department regarding my purchase. But I am very disappointed with the way Klein Honda has dealt with my situation and will never do business with them. It's strange how the service department had been friendly with me as long as they were taking my money for their service, but that friendliness sure changed when I had a dispute about my seat belt, in which case they want nothing to do with me. I keep my cars for 10-12 years and have had three Hondas and have never had any problem with any seat belt. I have asked many of my friends who have Hondas if they have every had a problem with their seat belts and they have stated that their cars, some of which are as old as 15-20 years have never had a seat belt malfunction and they know one who has ever had a problem. These are people who carry children and pets regularly in their car and their seats have had some damage by wear and tear and abuse, but never the seat belts. My car in perfect condition inside and out and in fact every car that I have sold had been purchased from me by someone who knows how well I maintain my cars. I now have three people who want my car when I decide which car to buy. I don't even allow food or drink in my car. I have a lot of friends who have Hondas, but I will let them know not to do business with Klein Honda. I am planning on calling other dealers in the area regarding my seat belt and see what kind of response I get to determine whether I want to purchase another Honda or go with Camry instead. I will also call the Better Business ureau. I also plan to contact the Honda Headquarters regarding my dispute and put in a complaint. I will also post my dissatisfaction with Klein Honda on the Internet.Best Dealership Experience in Everett
by tennis425 on 07/31/2013updated 06/09/2025It's unfortunate that it had taken me this long to realize that the sales experts at Klein Honda go above and beyond to make purchasing a car a pleasant and stress-free experience. After recently coming in for what was originally just… supposed to be a "quick browsing", I was sold on a 2007 Honda Accord, that my whole family loves. Being indecisive, I tend to think about making a potential purchase, more often than I actually decide to purchase things. Deciding on a car was much more of a challenge for me, but the sales staff was attentive and, while making good offers, did not put on too much pressure on making a decision. They outlined the car specifications in a way that did not seem overwhelming, pointing out the most important details that really sold me on the car. Look no further than Klein Honda for a great car-buying experience.Vinson W. is the best sales consultant
by Barbam3 on 09/17/2013updated 06/09/2025It was our first time buying a new car and we were just looking around to see if the 2013 Civic was something we would be interested in purchasing. We met Vinson W. a very friendly, respectful and honest associate at Klein. He was easy to… work with went above and beyond trying to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Vinson wasn't pushy and really knew how we wanted to be treated. I would refer anyone who is shopping at Klein Honda to work directly with him. He gives you no BS and let's you ask all the questions and for the most part has most of the answers. If you want to avoid the hassel that mostly every other car salesman gives you. Go talk to him. In the end we did buy the Civic at a great price and financing rate. If you are willing to be reasonable on price they are more than willing to work with you.we were very happy with our purchase
by tedh67 on 09/03/2012updated 06/09/2025we have been shopping for some time for a specific used car and have used the internet as our base for looking. we visted about 5 other stores who had the car we wanted but the stories we got on the phone did not match the real condition of… hte car and a couple of dealers played the hidden fee game. when we went ot klein we thought we would really just be going to a day trip as we live inthe university district of seattle and klein was a real drive away. when we got to the store we met bebbs who helped us on line and on the phone to answer question. she did a great customer service job. she intoduced us to boyce who gave us a great presentation and drive. this wasnot only the car we wanted but it was in great shape and it came with a warranty for no extra out of pocket money. we would tell any one who asked that klein honda did a great job and we are very happy.Klein Honda's the BEST
by venus3 on 07/24/2013updated 06/09/2025I bought my CRV from Klein last week and was amazed at how fast and easy my buying experience went. Their internet dept offered me the lowest price and they had the color I wanted. I was happy with the value they gave me for my 04 CRV as… well. Great job, Klein! We will be back again. My husband and my mom will be in the market soon.Bait and Switch
by ebush73 on 12/29/2013updated 06/09/2025On 12/27/13 I was quoted a price on a car, given a stock number and vin number, and setup an appointment for the next day. My conversation took place after 8pm when they were closing. I arive the next morning to find out the car was not on… the lot. I was first walked around the lot for 20 minutes while constantly being told about a car model I didn't want. I asked to see the car I was quoted on. Finally I was told that the GM uses it as a daily driver. I asked how that was possible since I was told this car had 10 miles on it and had the e-mail with that on it. I asked to speak with the manager, Tim. He came out and told me they sold it the night before. Questioning him on this he said it was sold at 6:30. I asked how that could be because I was in contact after 8pm. He then changed his story to tell me it was sold at 10:30pm. Again, I asked how that was possible since they close at 8pm and I also asked why I was not told when I called in the morning before showing up. They did not have the car on the lot and kept trying to sell me the model below. I would never every buy from a dishonest place like this. That was a complete bait and switch job.DONT BUY FROM THEM THEY WILL SUE U
by deadlyace on 07/27/2013updated 06/09/2025I'm writing this to warn you that these guys don't care about your family like they promise and they only care about their bottom line by pushing you into a car that helps them not you. My wife and I bought a 07 Nissan Altima, we worked out… a deal to make installments for our down payment for 3500.00. We wrote out 3 checks for the dealership and no one else. We put 1350.00 into our account every two weeks until paid off. Well they took first payment and second payment it took them 2 weeks past the original date to pull money and by that time unexpected bill took my money from account. They finally decided to pull it and not enough money was there to pay them. Well we corrected the problem and paid them. But the kicker was with the last installment they sent the payment to the bank that finance us and not to their bank account. But we called them and was concerned about it however the finance manager never returned our calls and we had to deal with another finance manager whom told us that everything is fine. 3 months go by and we got calls from our original finance manager telling us that we need to pay them or they taking us to court. Well I told him we did everything we could to make it right and to honor our commitments and go after the bank and not me. It wasnt my fault that they kept making mistakes and how do you send a check that is clearly written to the dealership and not the bank that did the financing and blame your customers for their mistake. Please dont buy from them. Protect your family and money and dont give it to these guys.
