WTF?
by Unhappy on 11/12/2024This dealership has a back log and originally could not schedule vehicle for engine check light/ power train code, recieved 14 days ago, warranty work, until Dec 5th. Iwas advised to leave car with the shop and they would get in it earlier… if an appointment spot became available. Got us in on 12 Nov and resolved issue. They also informed us that they would call us ahead of working and performing the 30,000 mile maintenance with cost over $860.00. 4hrs labor. The warranty repair/ replacement of Battery heater mod was listed as 3.5 hours. That is over seven hrs. According to my GPS tacker the car was moved in the garage aprox 0730 got called that my car was ready for pick up at 10:33. Something does not add up? Because of the communication break down an unnecessary oil change and tire rotation was performed! To the service writer's credit, compromise was achieved to the dealers benifit. I will think twice about returning.Knowledgeable and timely
by alow on 11/09/2024I had the chance to take my truck in for warranty work over the week. I appreciate this as it's good to see what a place is like when you are not paying them. Jaystin and the rest of the service team were polite and courteous and the… warranty repair was conducted in an efficient time frame. They still took care of me like I was important to them though I was not a paying customer. I will be returning here for paid work in the future.Thank you for sharing your experience with our service team at West Hills Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram! We're glad to hear Jaystin and the crew treated you well during your warranty visit. We look forward to assisting you with any future needs, whether under warranty or paid work!

Do not go here
by Paulg on 06/02/2020took my 2012 Durango here to have some maintenance and a recall done along with some issues I had noticed checked out. When I got there I was sold a maintenance package that included alignment tire rotation all fluids changed and all… filters $500 plus tax, not bad I thought. So I left my car for the day and went home I got a call the next day and was told the issues it had and that my warranty wouldn't cover it ,so i told them just do the recall and maintenance I was told ok and that my car would be ready in about an hour or so. I left home for my 45min dive back to the dealership, when I got there I was handed an $1100 bill and was explained the charges .they were charging me for every diagnosis they had found on the vehicle. Witch later I found out some would have been found as part of the maintenance I had paid for ... None the less I paid the $1100 and went on my way. On my way home I checked my tire pressure gauge to see where they had put the tire that had a slow leak in it ,low and behold it was in the same spot mind you now Im half way home by this time. So I called the dealership and talked to the service rep that I had been in contact with the entire time and was told it was just a mistake and to bring it back for the rotation. I told the rep that I was half way home and that I would just take it to my local shop and have them check the work that was done on the vehicle. In no more then 5 min I get a call from my wife saying the dealership called my house and wanted a return call asap. Hmmm I thought to myself so I get home call the dealership and was told there was a mix-up and that NONE of the work was done on my car including the recall because they where waiting to do the exhaust work so it would be easier to get to the part that needed fixed. At this point I'm not to happy they offered me a refund of the diagnostic fee that I shouldn't have been charged for and I could take It back down for the maintenance I had paid for, so all in all they offered me no deal except to give me back my money they shouldn't have even charged me for in the first place I told them I wanted a refund for all of it and for something to be made right other then me getting my money back for a crooked diagnostic fee. They refunded me my money now 3 weeks later and I also got ahold service manager who was nothing but a garbage sales man. I explained my situation to him and that I just lost 2 days of work now for nothing because they tried to rip me off I was then offered a 10% discount if I got all the work done that they said I needed... I told him $500 off a $5000 repair was not enough for being out 4days of work now and another hour and a half of driving . I was told pretty much well though , that's all he would offer me. I called back and said I wanted to talk to the person above him and was told that would be the GM of west hills Dodge and that they would have him contact me when he got back in, it's been a month now a numerous calls later and nothing ..... DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE THEY ARE [non-permissible content removed]... My ac now has more issues then it did nothing is fixed and I also found out the next closest dealership to me that would work on my dodge witch is Wiler Toyota is ownd by that same guy...... Do your self a favor and avoid these places like the plauge they will rip you off and smile while they take you money.....Horrible service
by Pete on 04/17/2019updated 04/24/2019Been working this dealer for 20+ years. Went in today for oil change. First they were dismissive as though customers were a bother. Second they had the wrong info stating I was there for an alignment. Third the price given there was twice I… was the original estimate. When I questioned that price I was told it’s because I’m driving a diesel. The paperwork said my truck was a gas engine and this guy had just looked at the truck t get the mileage. Then he wanted to argue saying that all dodge trucks were diesel trucks! He stated the price would still the same amount. When I asked for the service manager I was told he’s busy. I’ve called twice today to talk to the service manager and both times to get his voice mail. No calls back I’ve always felt customers were valued at this dealer but not any more!Excellent Service Department
by jerry_h23 on 12/12/2015I purchased a new 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 and have had it serviced here on time and on schedule. I have received excellent service absolutely every time. When appointments are made they are ready for me. I have been told when it would be… finished and it has been finished by that time. Everything I asked about was successfully addressed. Everyone I spoke with in all departments have been most friendly and yet professional. No other service department in my 57 years of driving have come even close to matching this service department. I am so pleased that today I traded in my 2013 Ram 1500 for a new Ram 1500. The service department had a lot to do with this decision. Thank you! My money is where my mouth is! JerryWATER LEAK
by Mad3500guy on 12/12/2015I purchased a new longhorn 3500, 4 door, 4x4, with all the bells and whistles. It is leaking water through the cab light so bad that the interior is completely ruined. I call and told them what was going on. They made appointment for me… to have it fixed. When I got there you could a ready start smelling it mold. The service writer informed me , they would do nothing but put a heater in it. I took my truck right back. I took it in to a reputable shop in town that my insurance company recommended . Between the shop and my adjuster the cost so far has just gone over $9000. This is not including the electrical damage. I pay over $70000.00 for this truck . You think they would stand behind the vehicles. Done venting!Stay away!!!
by philip00 on 02/01/2015My husband and I STRONGLY do not recommend West Hills Chrysler Jeep Dodge!!! I will precede my review by stating that our sales rep, Cody, did an excellent job answering our many questions and helping us find our new 2014 Jeep Cherokee… Trailhawk. Unfortunately the positives stop there. We purchased our new vehicle on a Sunday and were the first customers on the lot at 10am. After a pleasant experience with Cody we agreed to trade in two vehicles and by new. 4 hours after agreeing to buy, sitting in the dealership waiting, we finally were able to see a finance person to solidify our deal. Good thing we had Cliff Bars in our car because I fear how much longer we would have waited had we left for lunch or dinner. We didn't leave the dealership until 7pm, at closing time. Our Trailhawk was brought in from Eastern Washington the following Tuesday morning but because I work all day we weren't able to pick it up until the evening. During Cody's introduction to the finer details of our new car we discovered that the dealership (who had the car all day) had forgotten to install the Navigation System which now would require another trip back to the dealership as it was the end of the day and HQ was closed. We subsequently went back to WHCJD a couple days later to have our Nav System installed. My husband and I showed up at the dealership's advertised opening time and were greeted by a receptionist who told us the sales reps were in their morning meeting and would be out shortly. 45 minutes later (with a small crowd of customers waiting) the sales staff came out of their meeting and finally got around to seeing people. Then, less than 24 hours after our third trip to the dealership, a lady from finance called and to tell us (not politely request) that we would have to return one more time because the finance person we had originally seen had missed a signature line on our paperwork...and so we returned, again. If you are counting, this is now 4 trips to the dealership in less than a week and add on a 5th three weeks later to pick up our plates. But the agony doesn't stop there. Less than 30 days after owning our NEW Trailhawk, the Navigation System stops working. So we call Jeep Vehicle Service (very pleasant) and they tell us we will need to schedule an appointment at the dealership. Because we are a single car household we set up the appointment for the following Saturday at 8:30am, thinking what appeared to be simple glitch in the GPS/Nav System could be quickly rebooted and we could be on our way with our weekend. WRONG! My husband and I drop off our car as scheduled at 8:30am and receive a ride home as the service representative estimated it would take 3-4 hours to have our car seen and fixed. Not a problem as our only commitment for the day was at 4pm to have our sick dog seen at the local vet. Tick, tick, tick...no word. So my husband calls WHCJD at approximately 11pm. Jason, our service rep, tells him the car was just taken back and plugged in to diagnostics. My husband proceeds to call back several times for updates for which the only feedback we received is that the car is "plugged in" and the diagnostic machine is "flashing red" and reads "do not unplug." At 2pm my husband calls back one last time to say we need a resolution or alternate transportation as (again) we are a single car household and we need our car (which was running/driving when we brought it in). WHCJD passes us off to Enterprise which provided us a rental car at no cost. At 5pm as we leave our vet appointment we call WHCJD for an update to see if our vehicle is done. The service shop is CLOSED!!! The only people left at the dealership are the sales reps who can provide no assistance other than to have a manager notified of our issue on Monday. Now I have to go to work on Monday and explain to my boss how I will have to leave work early unexpectedly to retrieve my car which has been hijacked by the dealership and we still have NO STATUS on why we don't have our NEW car back yet. This dealership could offer me all the free oil changes and car washes in the world and I will NOT return. We want our car back and we want to cut ties. I have never had such an infuriating experience with any dealership. WHCJD should be embarrassed by the abomination that is their customer service.Excellent Customer Service
by lindalee64 on 12/05/2010I have always had to best experience with West Hills Service Dept. Not only do they shuttle me home, so I don't have to wait, they also go out of their way to make sure that a customer is heard, and taken care of. I am 100% loyal to them… and will recommend them to anyone. Mark is genuine as the Service Manager and Dan and the other service clerks are always more than helpful, and just plain NICE! You are a person, not a number. They have excellent waiting rooms, with clean bathrooms also. You can have popcorn and complimentary water also. We even bought a car there due to the great customer service from this dealership while getting our brakes done.Great service
by rex2010 on 07/04/2010I recently needed some work done on my vehicle, and scheduled an appointment with West Hills Chrysler. My first contact was with Cindi in the service department, and it was a very positive. She took the time to explain everything in detail,… and it was obvious that customer satisfaction was her top priority. From setting up a shuttle ride home for me, to making sure that I was aware of every option involved during the repair of my vehicle, Cindi made sure I was taken care of. After the work had been completed on my vehicle, Cindi reviewed the work order with me and explained exactly what had been done. She made sure that everything was explained to my satisfaction, and took the time to do so. I was happy with the outcome of the work that was done, which is typically all I really expect when going to a dealer for service work. It was an added bonus being treated with respect and actually feeling like someone was on my side to help, which is what Cindi provided. I have dealt with countless service departments over the years, and I can truly say that Cindi has set the bar for what customer service is all about.Three Strikes Your Out!
by pstoff on 05/25/2010This is at least the third time I have brought my vehicle in for service an had to follow up by bringing the car back in to get it re-fixed. The first time they forgot to replace the factory recalled parts I brought the car in to have… replaced. The second time, they forgot to reconnect the fans for the radiator, stranding my family on the freeway down in Portland on their way to Arizona. Third and final time I will go here, they fixed the car but when the wife told me there was something wrong with it and I should take it for a drive, I found that the heater fan is blowing all the time and cannot be shut off, regardless if the heater/cooling controls are on or not, and the side view mirrors are both innoperable. I understand it's pretty tight quarters to replace the headlight switch, but still, I would expect these things are checked before sent back to the customer. I'm only sorry that I sent my wife to pick the car and then tell her we have to make another appointment to take it back again.Dodge Caliber Purchase
by howeird on 05/23/2010Our purchase of the 2010 Dodge Caliber was effortless and dare I say pleasurable. Dallas Howell was/is a no pressure type salesman and was able to answer any and all questions we had. The car has performed admirably and should the occasion… arise again, we would gladly seek out Dallas to be our sales rep. Further we have recommended him to any of our friends who would be in the market for a Dodge vehicle.Great Service Annie
by jeremysp360 on 05/24/2010I came in for my first Oil change after purchasing a used 2007 Impala- Annie was more than pleasant, she took my info and had my car in the garage in minutes. The service was amazing and the people are friendly. If I receive the same… level of support on my next trip in there, there will not ever be a reason to move to another service centerLoveMyJeep
by lovemyjeep2010 on 04/10/2010Service dept. desk clerk was not very helpful, seemed bored with it all and really did not explain the repairs done nor costs. No calls at home with updates/timelines when they would be done. Now the service technicians were spot on and did… a great job, good diagnostic skills for a tricky repair.Shawn Kelley, Sales Associate
by ghclientt on 04/11/2010Upon arriving at West Hills Chrysler Jeep Dodge we were professionally greeted by Shawn. His low key, no pressure service was refreshing after a day of visiting other high pressured, frustrating, insulting sales staff. He showed us only a… vehicle that we asked for and didn't attempt to up sell to a more expensive model. The negotiation process was done in a gentlemanly and honorable manner. After an agreement was reached, Shawn left to personally see to the detailing of our new vehicle. Do yourself a favor and have Shawn Kelley help you find your next vehicle.Service with a smile!
by shmoe1 on 03/27/2010To whom it may concern: The last few years have been very hard on everyone in the retail industry, and when it comes to customer service I think we can all agree that it's the first thing to go out the window. If you know anything about… retail you know that companies are out for one thing turning a profit. Bad customer service starts with scared management and their negative attitudes that they pass down to the staff. Annie Meyer may or may not be dealing with poor management, if she is you cant tell!! The reason I say this is because she has never once made me feel like a number, and has a constant smile on her face. Annie's customer service skills rival most people that I have had the pleasure of working with and stands out in mind as a great employee, as well as a great asset to your company. I had a major issue with my car and she did everything she could to make sure that I was taking care of, along with going far beyond what I would say are her job details. THANK YOU Annie your great! Sincerely, A Customer for lifeGlad to Find a Female
by clars on 03/18/2010I have recently moved to the area and was very pleased to find a female, Annie, working in your service department. The last dealership I went to had a bunch of arrogant men working there. It was so comforting dealing with Annie knowing… that she understood me from a woman's perspective. I liked how attentive she was with all of my concerns and explained everything in a way that allowed me to make sense of everything going on. I will not hesitate to bring my van back in and will let all the other military wives know that there is a female's advocate at the Dodge dealer in Bremerton.Service Advisor Annie Meyer
by kwillard on 02/19/2010As a fairly new customer of West Hills Chrysler, Jeep Dodge, I was impressed with the way Service Department Advisor Annie Meyer has treated me each time I brought my truck in for service. Annie is friendly, knowledgable and keeps me… informed as to what is being accomplished on my job. The technician working on my truck indicated it would need to stay in the shop overnight, and without delay, Annie made a call for a shuttle ride home, and provided me with a ticket for a free cup of coffee on the house while I waited a short time for my ride. As soon as the job on my truck was completed, I was contacted and advised that a return shuttle ride was ordered for a ride back. That type of customer relations will bring me back to the service department again.Awesome service.
by wanttruth on 10/14/2009We have been using Paul our service writer for 7 years, prior to his moving to Jeep- Chrysler He was our service writer @ [another dealership], our Cadillac always received the best attention. Paul is a professional, with high integrity,… and service standards, he is a problem solver. He brings his vast experience to Jeep Chrysler, the only thing that has change is the brand name of the cars he services. His professional attitude remains I would recommend him for any kind of service concerns, our car was always finished on time as promised with no return problems, it was done the right way the first timeService Center Work
by mapabarber on 08/18/2007We have been very satisfied with the workmanship, quality of work, and the professionalism of employees. We bought our Town and Country van at another dealership and we were very disappointed in the whole process. When we brought our Van to… Premier for service, they treated us wonderfully. Our service has been wonderful. We trust them with our vehicles. The work is done right the first time. Thank You for taking care of our needs.Leaky top
by dave456 on 11/29/2012updated 05/31/2025I had my jeep in 8 times to fix the same problem. Each time I was told it was fixed and good to go. I parked in my driveway 4 days ago and the rain started, after 4 hrs I went to put it in the garage and there was 1/2 inch of water on both… sides in the front. The one time I had my oil changed there they called me two hrs later and had forgot to replace the oil fill cap.
