    It was the best experience I've ever had with a dealership. Nick was quick to reply to questions I had and it made it an easy decision when having to choose between dealerships. Will keep my business with Koons Chevrolet.

    Friendly, fast, courteous, cost-effective. Can't be beat! Only glitch was mechanic(s) left grubby fingerprints on cloth roof and ceiling of car. Oops! That was sloppy. I got them off, however, but I don't want finger/handprints anywhere on my car.

    Kenny and Joshua E. were extremely responsive, and came up with the car I was looking for, with the options I needed, at the price I was willing to pay. I was also allowed to take the car home for 24 hours which was a brilliant move. Being in sales myself, I would keep that in my playbook for sure!

    I was unaware of a major Volt service at 45000 miles before I arrived. My appointment was actually made because I change my oil aggressively once I see it hit 70% (optimal for any auto). In closing I would like to add that there is no good reason for my electric - drive - train auto to not be coated with solar panels -- kick that back to GO ASAP please so they can put an option in their 2016 model of the Volt

    I was upset with the way that the service department did not have access to the same records as the finance department and were not prepared to give me the correct service package based on what I bought when purchasing the new vechicle from Koons. I called to schedule my service and they were unaware of this so they transferred me to finance and finance told me everything was fine come in at 5000 miles like your plan says. So I came in and the service department said that I did not have the package I know I purchased. I had to spend 30 minutes waiting for finance to come in(not their fault it was 8AM and they should not have bee. In yet). The finance person went down to service and set them straight, but I would think that this should not have been necessary. So in the end they got it right and the service tech apologized and I got the service I paid for, it just took a while to get it right.

    Came in to get my car serviced and was immediately greeted by Steven W. I came in with the intention of getting a ton of work done on my Malibu. He was great about asking me what services I wanted and made recommendations to repairs I needed or didn't need, which to me was a great sign of honesty as he discouraged me from getting repairs I thought I may need but in actuality didn't need (I know nothing about cars). During the repairs he called me periodically throughout the day to provide feedback on what services were going to be provided, exact costs including taxes, and the progress of the repairs - I was pleasantly surprised. Of course the actual repairs/service on my car were great and I am happy about the outcome, but to me the best aspect of the experience was the customer service I received from Steven. I originally bought my car from this dealership and I would highly recommend it to my friends to get their vehicles serviced here.

    I was treated with respect and dignity from the time I arrived. All the staff were helpful and polite. I am happy with my new vehicle and will come back when it's time to buy another one. I had an excellent experience and my salesman Nick H was excellent as well. He was patient, polite and very helpful.

    I walked in with the intention of test driving a few vehicles and purchasing with my pre-approved loan from my credit union. Maks was extremely helpful and even got me a better deal on financing than what my credit union offered. In addition Al was very thorough in explaining my loan and all the paperwork I had to complete. Several times I saw the whole team assisting in however they could to get me in a new vehicle. The most pleasant car buying experience I've ever had. Please thank the whole team on my behalf, expecially Maks. Patrice Faulkner

    My experience dealing with the salesman at KoonsChevy was great. He knew everything I asked about the vehicle and a little more. Management was very helpful also. I had a good sales guy helping me find the vehicle of my choice that I was searching for.

    James is very helpful. He answered all our questions. We told him what we want and our plans. He prepared everything for us, we didn't have to wait long to close the deal and sign the paperwork.

    This was my second car purchase and honestly one of the easiest major purchases I've ever made. The guys at Koons went above and beyond to make the process as painless as possible. I bought my first car from Carmax and the difference in service and care was night and day. Not to mention the pricing was EXACTLY what I was looking for before I even said what my budget was. I purchased a brand new vehicle and the 84,000 mile maintenance package-- not because I felt I had to but because I genuinely felt like the Koons team was giving me sound advice on how to care for my vehicle. I LOVE my new car. I've already recommended Koons to my parents and my roommate. I came on a recommendation from my brother who bought the same car for his wife two years ago. Koons is proof that good customer service resonates well throughout the community and creates brand recognition as well as appreciation. THANKS KOONS!

    While I know dealers prefer to sell what is on their lot at the time, I was very pleased Omar and John worked with me on the order of the 2015 Suburban EXACTLY as I wanted it.

    I was very impressed by the knowledge of the car that was presented by the salesperson and that I was taken through what the car had to offer before we went on a test drive. I did not feel pressured into buying the car that day, which actually lead to my purchase.

    Found the car I wanted on Edmunds.com and this dealership. Had a link to get the WOW price or internet price. Clicked on it and received an email stating the price of the car as $23,016 if purchased before 3/1. My son drove about 35-40 miles after being harrassed to death by sales person to come see car. He got to the dealership and they told him the car was $23,590. He told them that was NOT the price given in the email and he wanted the $23,016 price. They told him "that was just to get you to come in." He told them that was fishy and they said "It got you in the door didn't it?". If this isn't baiting and switching nothing is. Although my son got the car of his dreams, it only reemphasizes the common stereotype of some car dealers. High pressure tactics and lying.
    • I went to Koons at Tysons and the only Volt available was in display at the showroom. A Volt-expert-salesman said no 2012 Volt vehicles were available to test drive and they were only taking orders for future deliveries. He said as soon as a Volt came in it is sold. At home I got another email to come in test drive the Volt. When I told them about my experience, the internet rep said he had a Volt I could test drive as soon as I came back. I went to Maryland instead.

  • Don't Waste Your Time With Koons Cheverolet of Tysons Corner

    I visited this dealer on Saturday April 18, 2009 to look at a 2009 Cobalt. I asked them for the 'out the door' price of the car and received one in writing. I looked at other cars and decided to buy the Cobalt. I called them on Wednesday April 22nd and told the sales person that I would be there on Friday April 24th around 6:30 pm to get the car. I arrived there and saw that the car was out front. The sales person was there. Two hours later someone finally showed up to do the paperwork on what was a cash transaction for the dealer, since I didn't finance the car through them. The price on the sales receipt was different from the 'out the door price' I had received from the sales person. Now, that price was only an estimate. The difference was not large but to me a price given in writing is not an estimate. Time will tell if I will tell my friends to buy a Cobalt. But I will not recommend that they go to Koons of Tysons Corner to buy it.

    Very disappointed that this dealership thinks so little of their customers that they will not provide loaner cars. There is an Enterprise Rent-A-Car dealer near the dealership, so as long as customers are willing to fork out the $ for a rental car, you're covered. The shuttle will only drive customers within a 5-mile radius of the dealership (great for somebody who lives in Springfield and works in Alexandria - NOT!). I've just had my 3rd experience in two years with this service department. They won't provide a loaner, no shuttle service, and don't recommend that I wait for the repairs to be done because this type of repair is generally lengthy. Yet, the dealership will not commit to covering my rental car because they could get in and find they have to order a part, put everything back together because the issue is one that I can drive around with while waiting for the part to arrive - because the GMPP warranty says the rental car will only be covered if labor takes more than 2 hours. Unbelievable that this dealership could care less that people have to go to work to make a living, and need a vehicle to get around for such.
    • It must be the Koons chains because I had a very unhappy experience at JKoons Pontiac, Buick, GMC.It all began with the purchase of my car (which was another unpleasant experience,I should have known then).I had to take the car in a few days after I got it because of some routine work, I needed the front license plate mounted and a few other small things. When I brought it in I also explained to the service guy that the navigation dvd disc was not working, the disc would not eject.His response was "Ma'am there needs to be a disc in there to be able to eject".Now did he really think I was that stupid?The map was up and loaded right there.So I let it go.Then I told him that I noticed the fuel guage was off and he told me that he had no time today to look at that.So I leave the car there and get a ride from one of the guys there to my office, which is literally 1 mile away.He knew that I would need a ride back to the service department later on.When he called me to tell me the car was ready,I had asked for a pick up and he told me that all the guys were washing cars and that no one would be able to pick me up.This really pissed me off because I already felt mistreated from the morning.So fortunately I had a co worker who was going that way drop me off.I picked up the car and went on my way.About 2 weeks later the 'check engine' light went on. This time I had my husband make the appointment and told him who not to talk to, since I would be dropping off the car again.Luckily we got this very helpful and nice lady, Anna who helped us thoroughly.Come to find out that the'check engine' light was on because of the fuel sensor.This made me more mad beause I had brought it up the last time I was in and the guy didn't want to waste time having it looked at...my husband also mentioned to Anna about the navigation disc problem and they looked at it a found that it was not working properly and they had to replace the whole unit.Now this bothered me so much because if he would have just gotten off his high horse and overlooked the fact that I was a woman we may have avoided this last visit to the service department.Since then the car has been back in the shop 3 more times for minor things that should have been reviewed when the certification of the vehicle was done.Fortunately we've been dealing with Anna who made things a lot more pleasant.

    It's been two years since I bought my Chevrolet SSR from this dealership, but I remember the experience like it happened yesterday. The experience was good until we went back to pick the truck up (some maintenance had to be done before we would drive it off the lot). The Internet Sales Manager harassed me over the price I paid for the vehicle (he felt I paid too little). Ray was my salesman, and he did a great job. As stated above, there were some maintenance concerns which he got addressed right way. But, I will never buy another vehicle from this dealership because of the follow-up visit, and because of my experiences with the Service Department.

    Everyone at Koons has always been so friendly to me. The past few times I have brought my car in for service I have been taken care of by Jerimiah, who is always really great at greeting me right away, keeping me updated on progress and wait time explaining what was done in detail once my car is ready. He also seems to be extra sensitive to the fact that I have kids in tow and it seems he tries to get me in and out as quickly as possible- which I truly appreciate ;) thanks for such great service!!
