  • Be careful about the "first come first serve"

    called in the morning and confirmed availability of the car and the out the door price, clearly mentioned we are really far away and need to 100% agree on the out door price They agreed and we sent our estimate time of arrival to them, after we arrived we requested a break down of the final price and told them we will be getting a cashier check from nearby bank, they all agreed and shown us the final price and the name we need “payable to” 30mins later, we brought the cashier check back to them they said “another customer” is looking at the car “7 mins” before we brought the check back, and according to their “first come first serve” policy, we have to wait AND as “sorry” they “offer” us the “chance” to buy higher trim level car with “discount”, what a classic “first come first serve”!!! No one told us the “first come first serve”“policy” when we said we are far away, when we arrived there and asking info to get a cashier check, or when the “another customer” started looking at the car “7 mins” before we brought the check back, ONLY after we finished getting the check only payable to them and only we went back to their location (only after our sink cost is too high and we kind of have no other choice, we already spent so much time dealing with them/ traveling to their location and after cancel a cashier check it takes three days to get that money available again) I think Honda making reliable cars(closer to Toyota), but after my experience with this auto nation Honda, i highly doubt how Honda regulate/train their dealers, i feel they do not care/treat customers with respect/dignity (even with customer buying cars, i can not imagine how bad they treat customers already bought the car) Overall, highly NOT recommended, unless you do not care about whatever “chance”/money they “offer”/charge you and you just want a Honda so bad

  • Not good at online sales

    I was trying to buy a 2023 CR-V Hybrid that I saw on the dealer website. However, I lived in another state and had to conduct the negotiations by phone and email. The sales manager worked with was very difficult to contact. He would not answer or return phone calls, only email. Agreed to a price on a vehicle. When I wanted to put down the deposit and fly in two days later to take delivery. He had to “ clear it with the GM, as we are a first come, first served dealership and don’t do deposits or holds”. The next day, he verified my address and the price increased $1200.

    I will never step foot in Dulles, Honda again. I took my car in for a simple recall. They came back with issues that were exorbitant pricing. Then when I picked up my car, my windshield was cracked from top- bottom, noone even informed me. First I was told, it already had a little pebble mark, so we aren't responsible, then I was told maybe the heavy pads from car wash did it, then I was told maybe it was already cracked like that! I asked for compensation and at this time have not heard back. The manager, Tim, made me feel like I was beneath him, a crazy woman that doesn't know anything, and belittled me. I was supposed to have a call this morning still nothing. I even just asked for 1/2 to help me pay. I have owned Hondas since my 20s, and I am not happy right now. Customer Service at Honda leaves a lot to be desired and I believe that Tim should be demoted! The worse thing is they didnt even tell me it was broke!

  • Absolutely amazing customer service

    I brought my car in because the alarm was going off constantly/randomly- I spoke with Candice and Adam and they explained the diagnostic process to me… car was fixed and I was on my way. But, when I got home I realized there was another issue that made me wonder if my issue was REALLY FIXED- I called back, unhappy- I spoke with Adam and he assured me he would see the repair through and even helped me on his own time AFTER he was done to make sure my car was fixed and I was satisfied. I will never go to another car dealer. I will ALWAYS use AutoNATION Honda and Adam and Candice specifically. I’m 100 confident in their honesty and care for their customers. Really great experience and they’ve restored my faith.

    Honda of Dulles, they are very honest with me about my car issues that need repair. They did inform me that my car needs to be fix for next service with list of items to be repaired. I like that because they are honest and caring about my car. I always use their service at Honda of Dulles all the time because they did amazing service.

    2020 Honda Civic brought in for 30,000 check. Some unexpected things found to need attention,. Really appreciated Adam's down-to-earth approach to stage the work. Car was ready within a very reasonable period of time.

    My service advisor Fawad was very helpful in accommodating me to complete the work quickly so that I won’t miss my doctor’s appointment. He was very courteous, and explained me the cost of the service so that there was no surprises at the end. He completed the service to my satisfaction and with a complimentary car wash. He also brought to my attention some future work which I was not aware of. I was very impressed with his professionalism, polite and respectful attitude as he answered my questions.
