What really defines good customer service? Someone who is attentive, has patience and has intergrity. From the moment I walked into Dulles Autonation Honda on 7/31 till I drove the car home, I blown by the sales and customer service experience. Earrett was my sales guide and he provided me with world class service. He LISTENED to what I need and what I wanted. He was very sincere and very knowledgeable about the brand and very helpful toward the whole process. I have purschased far more luxury cars like Mercedes and infinity and never received this level of service. Autonation Dulles Honda is a wonderful place for new or used car and they have an amazing team to go with their wonderful inventory. Never use AutoNation of Honda Service Dept

From the person answering the initial phone call for an appt to picking up my vehicle, not a very good experience. My service advisor, Haroun, was ok. Lack of professionalism and care for the customer. Called multiple times and left voicemail messages to get status update on my vehicle and never received a response until I emailed my service advisor. They asked me if I wanted a multi point inspection done on my vehicle. My response was yes but it was never done. The receipt says complimentary car wash, never done. Had Jorge call and left a message that the defroster was working fine but never brought the vehicle in for this issue.

Oil and brake change

I brought the car in front oil change and to replace the rear brakes at a 5:15 appointment. I was promised the work would be completed at 8:00. I did not drive out of the service bay until 9:45. I’ve had the car serviced here since I bought it in 2014 and never had to wait so long for such routine maintenance.

Love my 2016 Honda Fit EX from Autonation

Every communication and interaction was efficient, friendly and helpful. I was able to check out inventory online, and the sales associate's email response to my inquiry was prompt and knowledgeable. They reserved the car for me until I could get in, assisted me with speeding up my trade-in via online application, and end to end the in store sale was about 2 hours. Everything was relaxed, clear and concise. I couldn't be happier with the experience. And that's not including how much I love the car. :) The entire process was low stress and straightforward. Thank you!

Lack of Customer Service

Have never been more unsatisfied with a service department than here mainly due to the Service Manager. Their lack of customer service and follow up is disturbing. Service Manager will avoid any situation in which Honda is at fault and often ignores communication and does not follow up when he says he is going to. Have gone up to six weeks before without hearing back on status. I provide support services in my line of work and if I ever ignored a customer for that long I'd be looking for other employment, and the fact that this continues after multiple complaints goes to show who and what is most important. When trying to speak to the GM about the overall dissatisfaction I was given in the run around and sent back to the Service Manager. Still waiting for solutions to a problem a year later and Honda's lack of empathy for this long and stressful situation is unacceptable.

Had routine maintenance which turned out to be a major repair- compressor went out. It took 24 hours to get the job done and I was given a loaner car right there. My car was ret'd on time, and washed and vacuumed. Really appreciated the explanation given for repair.Thanks for a job well-done.

The entire team from the sales manager to the financing associate at Autonation Honda in Dulles, VA, were fantastic. They made a very nerve wracking experience very comfortable. The sales manager, Jerry, worked with me on the price, the sales associates, which I had two, were amazing. I believe laughter is the best medicine and they made to process much more relaxing by their sense of humor. The sales associates (Dexter & Daniel) were very thorough in showing me all the features of the car. Now if you ask me if I can remember them all, not so much. Thank goodness for the manual. The finance associate also made me feel comfortable about that process and suggested added services that she felt as a woman would add to my feeling of security as I drive my car long distances everyday. Since purchasing my car the dealership has checked in with me to see if I have additional questions and have indicated that I should feel free about coming in to ask any additional questions I might have. That is good to know. My experience with this dealership has been fantastic.

Awful experience

Horrible, horrible experience! Car buying experience cannot be worse than this. I went to buy a CRV few weeks ago. Spent nearly 7 hours there with my wife and my 18months kid and when we are going to close the deal, they said they cannot finance me because of my immigration status. I am a recent PhD graduate and just started a job. There is nothing wrong with my immigration status that they cannot finance me. Several friends of mine bought their cars with similar status. The sales person Leo, forced me to contact my manager and asks for a letter that will state that my company will keep me for 5 years. Without this letter they cannot finance me for 5 years. Such an unusual request! They took copies of my every possible immigration documents: passport, visa, ssn card, academic transcript and said nothing would work. Not only that, at the end, they throw several very derogatory comments. When I asked, do you have any template of the letter that you are asking. The finance guy said, "well it's not like a love letter", as though I don't know anything about official letters. Then at the end, Leo said "you may go to Mexico and sell the car". I don't know what's going on their mind. The very next week, I went to another dealer and bought a car without any trouble with 5 years financing. And obviously, nothing is changed in this one week in terms of my immigration status. They only needed my SSN and visa status and did not ask for my passport, visa or make copy of SSN card. Besides the horrible experience at this Honda dealer, now, I am very afraid what Honda/ the salesperson will do with all of my confidential documents and constantly worried about identity theft. I will highly recommend international students or recent graduates not to go to this dealer. They will just humiliate you and waste your valuable time.
