Awesome Experience
by Ibraheem on 05/29/2021Today we bought Toyota Tundra. Our sales person Carter Tuma was great, he walked us through with all our question. This dealership is great in disclosure no shady or hidden cost. We are very happy with our purchase and will be revisiting in… future. I recommend to go for Carter Tuma he is an awesome sales person he found us the deal we were looking for and kept us informed regularly. I engaged with him over internet sales and our experience was great. In today's market its very hard to find such a place highly recommendedSuper smooth!
by Satisfied on 03/20/2021Just had a very pleasant experience purchasing a used vehicle from Fred Haas Toyota. From our contacting them to make sure the vehicle was still available, to the paperwork signing, it was super smooth and pain free (how often can you say… that about vehicle purchase?!!). Our salesman was Steve Nance, and I would highly recommend him if you decide to shop there. Super nice guy, very genuine, and very knowledgeable about the vehicle. I don't leave reviews often, but hope this would help someone else who might have concerns. God bless!Dishonest service department
by HoustonMom on 10/13/2020I had a terrible experience with the Fred Haas Toyota World service department. They charged me $200+ in diagnostic fees even though they couldn't diagnose the problems (and didn't mention the fees when I originally made the service… appointment). They wouldn't repair a known manufacturer's defect that is covered under a Toyota extended warranty (result of class action lawsuit) because the faulty latch wouldn't act up while they had the vehicle (which is typical of this problem, it's sporadic). Charged me the diagnostic fee anyway. Another Toyota service department director and a person at Toyota corporate told me that Fred Haas Toyota World should have been able to honor the warranty repair based on customer testimony alone. They charged me an additional $32 shop fee not outlined when I dropped off my vehicle, even though they didn't do any repairs. My service rep told me my front brake pads were down to 1 mm. Another employee left a voicemail saying they were at 2 mm and 3 mm. I think my service rep was being dishonest. I ended up paying $302 and waiting 4 days for them to do an oil change, rotate my tires, and fix a small problem with my back door hatch that the auto body shop guy said took 5 minutes to fix. The rest of the cost and time was for them not to diagnose or fix the other issues. And their "work" is only warrantied for 30 days. Not worth your time or money. I'll be going back to my favorite John Eagle Honda service department where I actually bought this Sienna used.Anthony James is wonderful!

by kgrissom1958 on 09/26/2016Second from the dealer and third service by this dealer. They are very thorough. Busy ace so they fill up quick but still manage get you car done. Sometimes a bit longer than expected if something is found needing service outside what is… planned but they still manage to control time pretty well. This tie I had a rotate, balance and alignment. Perfect job restoring the original handling. Houston road can be brutal. It was time for a new battery too. Reasonable price and did not add significantly to the time. They have someone regularly check with folks in the waiting area to held them still informed on progress and help communicate concerns back to the service rep. Great coffee and soda bar. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
by paulasmith on 06/05/2016WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!! We had previously good experiences at Fred Haas and this was our 5th car to buy there. Air conditioning went out on our 14 yr old Corolla so time for a new one. Went back to Fred Haas (Cristina Cedillo, who… sold us a RAV 2 years ago). Did a special order because we wanted a rare color in a Corolla LE Premium. This was February. Told it would take 8-10 weeks. In late April we were told it would come the end of July!! Toyota in California says shouldn't take more than 12 weeks. That's 5 MONTHS! Because we needed air conditioning, settled for a slate gray LE Premium. They wanted us to sign the papers April 29 (even though the car wouldn't be ready for a few days, we live 50 miles from there! Had to be an end of the month quota thing but she didn't admit to that!), messed up the paint protection film on the hood, caused a chip that wasn't there before they added the film, delayed the delivery because "VIP's" needed their paint film protection placed first, tried to pass off after market all weather mats for the Toyota ones we ordered, and after we dropped off the wrong mats back with them, they didn't tell us the plates were in and we drove all the way home and found a notification of such in the mail!!!! The salesperson (Cedillo), the consumer relations person (Salazar) and the general manager (Mr. Murphy) have done NOTHING about our complaints. Please do not waste your time. Search the car you want on the internet and bargain for your price and have the closest dealer to you get it and sell it to you at the price you want. Easiest Car Buying Experience Ever

I dreaded going from dealership to dealership to find my next car. Sam made this very easy… by listening to me and locating the SUV I was looking for. A positive experience from sale to vehicle delivery.Review Update: It has been 9 days since I bought my SUV and I have contacted Sam Refai by text and email. He always responds within a few hours. Gloria Jasso is by far the most dedicated and detailed sales person I have met and was very helpful and patient throughout the whole process. Her and the rest of her team did a wonderful job in… helping me get my first car. There was not one in the market do he had it transferred in from Laredo. Kaaren and I… stopped by on Sunday on our way back from Fredericksburg. We were driving out 2 1/2 hours later. It simply does not get any easier. Steve is an absolute gentleman willing to do whatever he has to in order to make sure the customer is satisfied before you leave. Pretty good experience

He really helped me out once I was a repeat customer and stayed after his shifts both times to help me seal the deal on a new car for me. The… experience was going well until the high-pressured warranty sales and loan talks with the finance guy. Also, my car wasn't detailed all that well. Otherwise, I like Miguel and Fred Haas.Nothing but Professionalism!!

This location has onsite rental so that was a nice plus..everybody I dealt with was… happy, relaxed and professional and even went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Joe was wonderful as well and I am just so appreciative for great service. I was even able to schedule service appt online with a very objective and thorough website. Great experience from drive in to drive out

Our salesman, Jimmy Jones, greeted us with a smile and such an easy manner we felt like we were visiting a old friend. He listened to what our needs were and… was both personable and professional in manner. His knowledge of the business made this an easy day for us.
