by KatyTraczek on 11/12/2015The first time we went, we had the pleasure of meeting Thanh, who took us for a test drive in the new, 2016 Honda HR-V. Along the way, he excitedly talked to us about all of the features included in the car. When we got back to the… dealership, he waited patiently as we opened every door, messed with every button and setting, and moved every seat to see what all it had to offer. : ) We had to get a couple of things taken care of financially, so we left and in the meantime, we received a hand-written note in the mail from Thanh, telling us how happy he was to have met us and how he hoped wed be back. When we did come back, he was off work, so we were referred to Javed, who was also incredibly patient and thorough in talking to us more about the car. Their Sales Manager, Harrison worked hard to get us the best value he could for our trade-in and made absolutely sure that I was comfortable with the amount before even beginning to move forward on the deal. While they took care of all of the logistics, Chad came over to the desk at the perfect time to talk through all of the accessories that were available to us. He was able to offer us a great deal on some all-season floor mats and a trunk organizer, and that just added to the excitement that I already felt. We worked with Grady and Clint in the financing department, and I also cannot say enough good things about them. Grady tried to make sure we were getting the best interest rate possible, and Clint took the time to explain every line item to us to make sure that we knew what we were paying for. When he presented us with optional add-ons, he waited patiently as we talked through it, (which is a feat in and of itself, as my husband and I are both very, very indecisive.) : ) Driving away from Lute Riley Honda in my new car, I felt so well taken care of and so valued as a customer. Richardson isnt the closest to our house, so we had gone to other dealerships prior to this. Each and every one of the salesmen we had been in contact with from other dealerships pretty much fell off the face of the earth once the end of the month came and went. That wasnt the case with Lute Riley. They kept in contact with us and made sure we knew that we werent just another number to add to their quota. We were valued customers to them, and we knew that from start to finish. I absolutely love my new HR-V and Im so grateful for the team at Lute Riley Honda in Richardson for their hard work to make us happy!Excellent experience!

Don't waste your time or money
by dailydriver6 on 07/14/2015Our Honda Element went into limp mode at 120k miles. I took it to Lute Riley service. The service writer seemed more interested in data mining my personal info then repairing our car. He couldn't tell me what was wrong with the car. The… service writer was more interested on up selling me on recalls and other services. I left went to another shop. The other shop told me within 15 minutes what was wrong with the car. The repair was to replace the accelerator pedal position sensor. Honda had a bad batch of APPS in the 2005-2008 manufacturing timeframe. Something the service writer would have and should have know much faster than an independent ship. APP1 was replaced in less than 15 minutes for less than the $120 Lute Riley wanted to diagnose the problem.We are disapointed to read about your experience with our service department and apologize for not meeting you needs. Excellent Purchasing Experience

We purchased a 2014 Honda Odyssey, and they helped with everything. Ricky Bobby… Hawksley even went out in the rain to make sure that we got our "all weather floormats" correctly installed that day. Jeff Sowards called and helped out immediately when we ran into a minor issue with the cargo tray in the back. The price was great. The service was exceptional. We will be buying our next vehicle from Lute Riley Honda.[non-permissible content removed]
by BrentMc on 03/03/2015*BUYER BEWARE* If you are a first-time car buyer, do NOT go here. They take advantage of (exploit) you every step of the way. And do NOT trust their finance reps. Ever. I recently purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle here and the… initial experience was fairly positive; however, it started going down hill quickly as they took a very long time to complete our purchase and did everything they could to hide actual costs, interest rates, and everything in between. I should've caught on to the act, but I may have been preoccupied with my pregnant wife and daughter who were with me (yeah I know, probably not the best idea on my part). In the end, they screwed me on the price and lied to me twice about my interest rate (Grady). So congrats, Lute Riley Honda -- you took advantage us (first time car buyers, a family, and a pregnant woman). With that, I absolutely do not recommend anyone go here. They claim that they are such a unique company, that they offer great discounts, and feed you all of the BS about "hassle-free" prices, but it's the same as the other horrible dealers out there. Needless to say, I only got one key for the car and it was on 1/4 of a tank of gas. Hopefully they will keep on their promise to cut me another key. Either way, I certainly will not give them another penny.Lied to by Manager

Confirmed Wed the car was ready and made appointment to buy car. Manager called 10 min later and said the… car had been sold; and he did not know we had agreed to buy car. He throw the sales guy and other people in the dealership under the bus and said it was not his fault. My son is buying his first car with his own money and his first experience is with this very sorry excuse of a manager. I had several people calling me to "follow up" when if they had worked with the salesman; it would have clear. I have purchased a used here before and liked the salesman, but this manager is worthless. The worst car buying experience I have ever had in 30 years.Got what I wanted

I was so excited to go in and find a new car, and couldn't have done it without our long time friend Shawn Khan, Senior Salesman at Lute Riley Honda. He is always the first person my family calls when… thinking of buying a new car, and that says something because this is the FIFTH car we've bought with him!! We never knew him before coming to this dealership but now he knows our whole family by all of our names and treats us with the absolute best service when we go there. Always has looked out for us over his own benefit. He makes buying cars even more fun!Wow Factor!!!
