Just What I needed!

I went into Kia knowing what I wanted. Wade, the salesperson who helped me was awesome. He negotiated for me and every since of the matter. I was happy my son was happy.

    It was excellent as always. I came in and was acknowledged and waited on right away. We discussed the need for an oil change and decided on the fuel injection check-up instead, as the car had had an oil change recently. Mr. Barker said it would be about an hour and it was. He went over everything that was done, asked if I had any questions (I didn't; his explanations were thorough), and got me on my way. Wonderful!

    This is the second time around that we've been here and it is always a wonderful experience. Everyone we come in contact with is kind, respectful, and helpful. The customer service is superb. Clint and Mario are an awesome team together. Clint is upbeat and helpful. Mario listens and has a good attention to detail. If you want a great buying experience they certainly make this a reality.   • The difference between selling, and helping to buy.

    I went in for an oil change and walked away with an amazing deal and a brand new car. They were even able to get me a better loan with 3% less interest, saving me hundreds of dollars, and I'm disabled on a fixed income. But every step of the way they ensured it fit my budget. Shawn Whitaker and Mario Sense were amazing, human, and treated me like a friend. They followed through on everything they said, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Shawn even promptly responded to my calls and questions after I drove off the lot, and if you have a chance to buy a car from her, I strongly recommend it if not just for the chance to meet this amazing woman. Truly good people. Really cool cars that feel good to drive. Going anywhere else, for me, would be an unneccessary risk at this point.

    I know what i wanted in a car! I seen a car i wanted. loved the manufacturer reviews about it. kia had it! I jumped on the price they was offerings! Miss Kirby and joe san Nicolas and kenny helped me out with first time buyer. Thanks guys your awesome! Thanks to Mrs eakin for having a great staff in used.. well kept building nice and clean!

    Bought my daughters first car here. We live in Dallas and worked out a lot of ithe details prior to arrival. Joe was fabulous! He's very knowledgeable about jeeps and went above and beyond our expectations. He's a great guy who made buying this important purchase simple!     I purchased my truck from the used lot where first of all they were the only people willing to help me get what I wanted and not try and get me in what they needed to sell. Then I chose to get the extended warranty on my truck since the factory warranty was almost up thinking it would be nice to have, well I'll tell you I'm glad I did the transmission was starting to slip and I didn't know what to do. So I took it back to them hoping there service department was just as good as the sales and it was even better they didn't try and feed me any lies or get me to get extra stuff they just fixed it got me a rental car and I only had to pay my deductible talk about a relief. Then my wheel bearings started to make a noise and it had been a year or so, so I wasn't sure if my warranty was still good so I took it back in and I didn't even have to ask if it was cover they had already called and found out I was still good to go the team at Dennis Eakin are some of the most professional and honest people I have had the pleasure of dealing with. Thank you

    My experience was outstanding, no gimmicks just real down to earth folks. Starting from my initial phone call with Kenny and continuing with his daughter Kirby to the ultimate customer service I received from Joe San Nichols. He took his time showing me around but mainly explaining everything from the car to the financing. My credit was not good but also not bad and Joe explained to me how all this works and gave me great tips moving forward and how to improve my score. I got a car I could afford but mainly knowing how reliable it is and how I will be taken care of in their service department made it all the worth while driving an extra hour. What a great team they have at the Pre-Owned lot.

    I received a letter in the mail from Dennis Eakins Kia. It was signed by Dorothy Williams. The letter was for those with not perfect credit. I got all the documents together, as I have so many times before after getting a letter from some other local dealers but they didn't come through. I was greeted once on the lot in less than 5 minutes by Anthony Freeman. He was very knowledgable of all the inventory and options on the cars I found appealing. I wasn't prepared to find a great car but have to settle for something else or nothing. I let Anthony know my concerns and about the letter. He immediately took me inside and introduced me to Dorthy, who said I was in good hands. I was given a short, and I mean short application to complete. I was left and I said to myself...the wait begins. I was so wrong....it was about 15 minutes later and Anthony came out to say it was time to pick a car. I was so excited but not yet sold. We went through a few cars and I picked my 1st and 2nd options. While we were out test driving, Leroy , "the Finance King" was working on my paperwork. And he got it done in no time flat. No back and forth. Anthony let me decide but he said get what you want....don't settle for less...and I didn't have to with Dennis Eakin Kia Within 21/2 hours of pulling on the lot, I was leaving in my new, yes I said new 2015 Kia Optima. I am so happy but mostly thankful to Team Freeman, Mr Leroy and Dorothy and the whole DE Kia family. I have an awesome warranty but most of all I have a new group of friends....and I got some free stuff too! I would tell anyone and everyone to go there if you want a great deal in a little time. Again Thanks Team Dennis Eakin, Killeen.

  • waste of time

    Msrp price on a 2015 kia soul was 16,404 the sales guy Anthony agreed to sell the car for 15,800 over the phone because I live out of town. When I arrived to sign papers the price went up to 19,000 and their excuses started coming out. The finance manager debbie was very rude aS well

  • Friendly, but they don't tell the truth

    My husband and I were thrilled to be in a new car and received a good deal on our trade in. The sales people of course were delightful, but someone dropped the ball and forgot to have us sign paperwork to have our trade in paid off. So for three months we received harassing phone calls from Chase (who we financed our trade in with) while Kia told us they sent a payment on the car and would be sending the pay off later that month (why they wouldn't just send the payment, I don't know!) Every time we called Kia about this the finance person we needed to talk to just happened to not be in that day. They almost cost us our credit, luckily Kia sent the payment in just before it went to collections. They told us they sent the pay off on a Friday. We got the confirmation number from them and found out it was actually sent out 5 days after they originally told us. Why it took them three months to have this taken care of is beyond me.

    all car buyers beware i bought a car from dennis eakin kia in killean, was met and greeted promptly and handled with care upon purchasing my preowned. the first time was a good experience and got a good deal on my tradeins, afterwards i signed the paperwork and we left. it has been 5 months now and i still do not have a tittle on my vehicle, when i need a temp tag i have to call and tell them and i might get one after 1-2 weeks of experation of the tag i have now, the first two months it was a loaner car and i have made three payments already and still no title to my car

    I give very high marks to the sales representative, Mr. Mark Johnson. I went there to look at the 2009 Kia Sedona mini-vans in stock. Mark was very knowledgeable of the Kia products and showed me a Sedona model that was loaded with all of the options and extra gadgets, as well as the more practical versions with fewer options they had in stock . He was able to answer all of my questions and never put any pressure on me. Mark is very friendly and personable and he does a great job with presenting the Kia products to prospective buyers. In my case, I had already done a great deal of research and I was convinced that the Kia Sedona was the next vehicle for me. I had my own financing arranged and it was simply a matter of choosing one of the Sedona's from the dealership's inventory. I ended up buying a 2009 Kia Sedona LX and driving it home that same day. Everything was done with efficiency and I have no complaints about the sales transaction and I was out the door in less than two hours. If I have anything to gripe about it is that there were not enough Sedonas to chose from in the dealer's stock. However, I do have complaints about the follow up actions necessary to be done by the dealership to complete the deal. I had a pre-approved loan and a bank draft from my credit union, which was made out in the amount to cover the cost of the new Kia and the pay off that was necessary on my trade in vehicle. The dealership ran the bank draft through promptly and it was posted through my credit union two days after the deal. But they have been very slow about taking care of the pay off on the vehicle I traded in. I am on the hook for both the new loan and the old loan. This is very worrisome for me. I have been inquiring about it for over two weeks now and the pay off has still not been completed. I was first told that they had twenty one days to make the final pay off on the trade in vehicle. It has now been twenty four days - the trade in has not been paid off and I do not have new license plates. The person in the dealership's finance office responsible for doing the pay offs has failed to return my phone calls on several occasions and has sometimes been rude during phone conversations. In general - I have not been happy with the performance of the business office and the administrative staff at this dealership. I am in my sixties and I can sometimes be a "grumpy old man" - when I have good cause. I do not expect special treatment but I do expect to be treated with courtesy. I expect people to work efficiently to provide me with the service that I pay for. I believe the people in the business office at Dennis Eakin Kia can and should do a better job to support the efforts of the sales people like Mark Johnson. After all - without good sales, none of them would have a job!
  • Beware After the Sale

    This was not my first time to purchase a new car. Sure, they're very nice about the test drive and they will negotiate the trade in and financing BUT... then it all changes. We kind of blew it off when the guy on post told us not to be surprised if we didn't get our license plates before our temporary plate expired. To our surprise, the end of the 3rd week rolled around and we still didn't have plates. We could not get a new pass to get on post because the temporary plate was expired. So, we went back to Dennis Eakin Kia and they gave us another paper plate because guess what! They had not even ORDERED the plates yet. AND on top of that we had handicapped plates, when we asked to verify that we would receive new handicap plates, they said there was a form for the doctors and yada yada yada, to summarize, we're better off doing it ourselves. Now we have to go back to the motor vehicle place and WAIT for 2 or 3 hours again because they never told us what we would have to do to get another set. Then, we just received a LATE NOTICE on our old car that WE TRADED IN TO GET THE NEW CAR!! Not only have they NOT ordered the license plate 1 month later BUT they also never sent the check to pay off the trade in!!! Oh my God! I'd like to return the car now!! If this is the way they handle the simple stuff what is it like when you need servicing on your vehicle?? We can't afford to leave it there for 2 or 3 months until they feel like getting around to it!! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • My First Great Experience

    I just want to tell others about my experience at Dennis Eakin Kia in Killeen. First off, I am not a twenty something or thirty, nor forty - I am nearly 60 and this was not my first time purchasing a new vehicle - I have purchased many vehicles over the years. My experience has always been very stressful & maddening, and I have wound up walking out on dealerships because of their treatment of me and the games that they play. They try to make you feel that their "sales manager" is the Great OZ and that he is all powerful. I'm sure you know what I mean. I walked out on another KIA dealership that was very close to home and ended up in Killeen, TX - a good 45 minute drive from where I live. I was met by a young man named Mark who was enthusiastic, upbeat, glad to meet me and considerate of my wants and needs in a vehicle. He listened when I talked. He didn't talk over me. He was knowledgeable about his products and when it came time for him to show my numbers to the sales manager, I was more than happy with the agreement we came to regarding the numbers. The very first time. There was no back and forth and back and forth. I went into the finance office and again, the best experience I have ever received. I was astounded with the low, low financing he was able to get me. I drove away from the dealership that same day in my new Sorento and I feel like a Queen driving it. I love this automobile!!! I love the guys at Dennis Eakin Kia in Killeen!!!

    Responded to and internet ad with special internet pricing. Tried to put a deposit to hold the car until I arrived. Saleman "Mat" agreed to the arrangemet but when it came time for them to send me a receipt for my deposit, mysteriously the salesman and the car were no longer available and they tried to switch me to another car. I will never trust or do business with them again.

    Last year, we started getting a check engine light and the code meant it was one of 2 things wrong. Dennis Eakin chose to repair the item that most commonly goes bad and had to special order the part. They gave us a vehicle to use in the meantime. A few days later, the light came back on. We took the car back in and they replaced the other part at no cost to us and the repair took less than an hour. They explained everything to us, did their best to keep the costs low to us and really took care of us.

    This is the first vehicle we have purchased here and am pleased with the results. Renee' came highly recommended thru a friend and I couldn't be happier. Walking into some dealers is like walking into an empty office and hearing a pen drop to the floor but not with Renee'. He was energetic and courteous and happy, and that just goes to show the employees their are happy which says a lot for a company. He worked with me on the financing and was able to get the payments where I needed them. I really couldn’t be happier, and we got a great price. They take the time to help you find what you’re looking for and they make sure to fit all your needs, even though it was freezing !! I was very impressed with everyone here, and will be sending friends and family. Everything turned out fantastic and we couldn’t have asked for an easier sales experience.
