  • 2015 Mustang 50th Year Special Edition

    5 out of 5 starsby pin_lou on 02/20/2015

One name is my description of AutoNation Ford Kathy and that is Jessie Pickering. Made me feel like a priority. Demonstrated that I was a priority by his search and location of the vehicle I wanted. He further did everything he could to expedite the sales process. Best purchase experience out of eight lifetime purchases.
  • They called me a Pendejo

    1 out of 5 starsby robert_n1 on 02/13/2015

I found shopping for a used car at this dealership a huge headache and waste of time. I worked with Mohammad and he did not know very much about the cars or at least didn't give me much information on the cars I was looking at even though he had been there for 15 years. He wouldn't negotiate on the price at all and it had the warranty built into the price to where even if you didn't get the warranty it only brought the price down 500 dollars. He ended up just pushing me through to finance because we had been talking for 4 hours without any real negotiation except on monthly payment and APR rates which shouldn't have even been discussed at that point (I realize this now after going to other dealerships). When I got to the finance guy (unfortunately, I didn't get his name, black skinny bald guy), I told him I was not happy with the price on the fusion I was trying to get. Well he was understandably annoyed because he doesn't negotiate price, that is what the sales person was supposed to do. But then [non-permissible content removed] gets on the phone and asked whoever to come get this "pendejo". At this point I got up and told the guy it isn't the best business practice to call a customer a pendajo to their face. I guess he thought I wouldn't know what he was saying, I don't know. He tried telling me he called the sales guy a pendejo, and that he would never be so "unprofessional" as to call a customer a pendejo, trying to back out of what I clearly heard. Grabbed my insurance and ID and left. Two days later, I bought a 2014 fusion with under 9k miles at 16k from Gulf Coast Ford down in Angleton (about 3 grand cheaper than the poorly conditioned 2013's autonation was selling with like 30k miles) . They were super friendly, straight forward and most certainly didn't call me a Pendejo to my face. They did have overpriced full warranties, but I just didn't get one, you never get what you pay out of them.

  • Purchase of F-250 pick up.

    5 out of 5 starsby gpaul2 on 02/04/2015

The sales process from AutoNation was excellent. They were very attentive to my needs and I am very satisfied with the entire process. On a separate note, I had a 2010 F-250 with a navigation system, and worked very well. My new 2015 truck does not have a navigation system, but a "sync my ride" system. I am extremely dissatisfied with the "sync my ride". The process to load my "saved points" on my account through the computer is redundant. When accessing "sync my ride" in my truck, it usually leads to multiple requests because it is unable to understand the command. On average, 7 out of 10 times I am unable to get the directions for my "saved points". I worked with a customer rep on how the system works, and she was extremely helpful. However, I am completely dissatisfied with "sync my ride", and have opted to use my navigation on my phone. I have concluded the "sync my ride" is useless. This has nothing to do with the sales process, but I think Ford should make other options for navigation services.
  • Challenger

I was in the market for a new car I hate going to car lots bc it takes forever and the salesmen gives the run around. I decided to stop try Autonation. I am very much glad I did. I worked with two very patient gentlemen Amein and Edward. They straight forward helpful and worked in a timely manner. I am in love with my 2014 Dodge Challenger. Thank you Autonation Katy
  • awful customer service

1 out of 5 starsby VickiJames on 01/22/2015

I won't ever take my car or truck there again. The service rep did not call to tell me when it was ready. It wasn't washed or cleaned inside like champion ford use to do. My hood was left open. My car had 2 new scratches. It was two days before I could find out it was ready. We phoned the rep - Mike and left 3 messages. He didn't bother to call back.

  • Very satisfied with Autonation Katy

    5 out of 5 starsby Raylyn37 on 10/16/2014

I feel as though I got a fair deal on a 2014 F-150 from Autonation. James Purdy was helpful and on the level which was a pleasant surprise, not a all what I'm used to where I come from. I traveled to Katy, TX form northern New Jersey and it was well worth the trip. I really can't think of anything negative to say about the whole experience. The entire process was pretty painless and so far the truck has been terrific. Without hesitation I would recommend doing business with Autonation of Katy, TX.

  • Easy Cross Country Deal!

    5 out of 5 starsby rrlewis2 on 10/14/2014

I live in Florida and searched the internet for the BEST deal on the Ford Expedition that I wanted. Contacted the AutoNation Ford Katy and got truly great service for this deal! Not only did I need it from several states away, but I was leaving on a trip and wanted to take my new truck. Chris Blair really jumped through hoops to make it happen and it did! Great deal on the truck and easy to deal with! Highly recommend them!
  • Great experience at AutoNation Ford

5 out of 5 starsby KatyCustomer on 10/15/2014

The new car shopping experience can be extremely painful...standing around at dealership after dealership for hours on end waiting to look at a car or waiting for the dealer's "best price." After several days of "pain" we found AutoNation Ford. There, our experience was completely different. Our sales representative, Chuck, took the time to listen to and understand our needs and then quickly found several cars that could work for us. Once we looked at the cars and took one for a drive, we knew we found what we wanted. After a 20 minute wait, Chuck came back with a great price we used as a starting point for a great deal. From that point forward, the staff, to include sales management, used car trade in, finance and aftermarket, worked quickly and efficiently to make the process as painless as possible. In the end we were happy with the service and excited about the new vehicle. Eugene in aftermarket department was great to work with and did a great job following up with customers.
  • 2014 Mustang v6 Premium

    5 out of 5 starsby Starr54 on 10/15/2014

I've been driving a 1985 Pontiac Firebird for 30 years. Finally time to buy a new car. I wanted a mustang so my husband and I went to AutoNation Ford Katy. The salesman is Frank Del Villar and he was so nice. He answered all my questions even during the test drive and afterwards. I bought a 2014 Mustang v6 Premium on the spot on 10/04/2014. Haven't had to deal with any type of service other than sales so I cannot comment on that. They did forget to put on the inspection sticker and the antenna so I had to make a special trip out there for them to do it but it did not take very long. Other than that everything was fine and I really wish all salespeople were like Frank Del Villar. Thanks, Brenda Machala

My salesperson Mike C. was great, he listened to what I wanted in a vehicle & worked with me to get just the vehicle that fit my needs as well as my budget- he made the whole experience hassle free- I can truly say I haven't experienced any buyers remorse!

  • Best car buying experience ever ! !

5 out of 5 starsby arktvlr on 07/30/2014

We had shopped around for a new Ford Taurus Limited for several weeks; could not find the price nor color we wanted. Found it at Autonation-Katy, and their no-haggle price was at least $2,000 less than the dealers nearer Kingwood, where we live. Made appointment via email, went out there, bought the car from Michael C., who was exceptionally courteous and professional. We drove back to Kingwood in our new Ford!

Great sales staff. SuperB finding a good price for what we need. I appreciate the "non-pushy" sales actitude, that I have seen in other delaerships.
  • Great Job!

    5 out of 5 starsby Kansas675 on 07/29/2014

Thank you Ennis M. and Chad J. The buying experience was awesome! The internet was used to communicate what I was looking for. Mr. M. sent me pictures and information for 4 different vehicles that matched my request. Auto Nation Ford has so many vehicles to choose from. I picked one to look at and when I went to the dealership it was ready for me to test drive. No bait and switch! Mr. J. did an excellent job of securing financing and not making me wait hours upon hours. Within two hours I was waiting for my truck to be detailed so I could drive it home. I was in shock but it was awesome! Check out AutoNation Ford/Katy.

  • Dealer Review for AutoNation Ford-Katy, Tx

    4 out of 5 starsby ronnierichard1 on 07/24/2014

Friendly no-hassle dealer ship with a huge inventory. They are able to beat most other dealer's prices. The sales staff are knowledgeable about the products they sell. I bought my last 2 new cars from this dealership and I am not disappointed with the sales and/or service.
  • Sales Experience

5 out of 5 starsby DeborahLee on 07/08/2014

I put the car I wanted on hold and went to pick it up on my day and it was ready and waiting for me. We settled on a price online and to me that is half the battle. This was the easiest purchase I have ever made. The salesman Brandon H. did everything he promised me. I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. Ford Focus.
  • Excellent Experience

    5 out of 5 starsby KMH2002 on 07/02/2014

This was the second truck that we purchased from this dealership. From the very first contact our salesman Chris B. communicated both via email and phone and answered all of our questions. We were hesitant about the purchase mostly due to the size of the investment. We were upgrading from a F150 to a F250 and the cost is significantly more. Chris made us feel at ease and knew we were coming in just to see the vehicle and to explore the possibility. The truck we wanted to see was front and center when we pulled up for our appointment. Even when we decided to find out if the deal would go he and the finance staff stayed well after closing to complete the deal. They both were able to work the deal so it was under our payment requirements and were knowledgeable of the extended service plans. Even to the point of using the remainder of our previous extended service plan from our trade into our downpayment. The entire process was smooth just like the first one we did a year ago. Once again they surpassed the type of service you expect from a dealership. No pressure. The deal went forward only at our request not because were felt pressured. They shopped the loan to get us the best interest rate possible. They were very willing to work around our schedule to finish the deal and to allow us to take delivery of the truck the next day. Even after the sale our questions have been answered. From start to finish a friendly customer oriented transaction. Truly a great experience again. We will purchase from this dealership again.
  • STAY AWAY!!!!

1 out of 5 starsby rodslinger on 01/31/2010

Lets start from the beginning - and this is all the truth: I purchase my '05 from them new. First thing the sales guy does is tell me that the tranny is covered under the 100K mile warranty. I didn't think to question that, heck it makes it go so I believe him. Only to find out that was a lie to sell me the rig. He also tell me that if anything goes wrong with the rig they'll give me a loaner vehicle, at no charge, while they repair mine. Once again a LIE to sell me the rig. So after the usual 6.0 head gasket issues I had taken it to another dealer because I was torqued that Champion Ford of Katy who LIED to me when they sold me the rig. Well the other day my oil cooler goes out and all my oil ends up in my coolant. Champion Ford of Katy is closest, so I have it towed to them - oh after the "Service Advisor" David tells me I can just drive it on in. To hell with that, I had it towed in on a flat bed. I call a week later and they had JUST gotten to it and told me my batteries were dead. My NEW batteries. Great. A few days later David calls me to tell me they'll have to charge me an extra $500 because of after market equipment - I have a Volant Intake, Fuel Optimizer, my train horns wires, Pyro and tranny gauge wire, and alarm wire. He said they had to remove all the wires for those things because they were going through my firewall. I thought that was high but figured screw it, they have to pull the cab. A few weeks later I FINALLY get my rig back. I paid the extra money and drive away. I go hunting and get 5 hours from my house and my turbo goes out. I pull over at a gas station, screw with the lines, get it working and limp it home. I call David and ask him about all this, PLUS the $434 extra charge. He tells me they never had to remove my cab???? Then why mess with my lines going through my firewall? He said he'd get back with me.....two days later, he hadn't. SO I called BACK. He then explains that they had to remove my Volant Intake - 10X easier to take off than a stock intake and ANYONE who has one knows that. My fuel kit??? A flexible line is MUCH easier to unscrew than the OEM - OH and they had to "WORK OVER MY BRUSH GUARD" - yeah that's a quote. Guess if you buy from Champion Ford in Katy you must remove your brush guard before you take it in or you get charged EXTRA. So YESTERDAY I fixed my own lines for my turbo. The mechanic had my turbo lines half azzed on there, they fell off and one was broken, so I had to redo them. Working fine now. But I paid extra for that lovely service. All that being said I spoke with David and he didn't give a crap one way or the other. SO if you want TRUE facts - there you have them. I hope that $434 is worth all the sales I'm going to go out of my way to cause them for the lies and crappy service. It's sad when a dealership has to LIE to sell vehicles and then the "service advisor" is making crap up to charge me EXTRA for, when the bottom of my oil cooler ERODED out causing the failure - nothing else. I'll continue to post examples of their crappy service and see if I can't cost them more than they screwed me out of.....what's a Powerstroke cost? More than my $434.
    • Experiences like this help out the consumer in the longrun by keeping them away from stealerships such as this one. Thank you Rodslinger for posting this review up and letting us all know what kind of people run Champion Ford of Katy, TX.

  • Autonation Ford delivers best price and large selection

I researched and spent 4 weeks analizing the truck I wanted to purchase. I visited/worked with 5 dealerships in Houston and surrounding areas, before making a decision. Autonation has internet/no-haggle pricing, that their competion stuggles to match. I had an overall good experience in making the purchase. They also have an aftermarket Sales Department, which is competitively priced for customizations. Eugene knows his products and delivered beyond expectations, with excellent followup.
