  • Purchase of a new Jeep Grand Cherokee

    The purchase experience was pleasant until we met with Finance! I have never seen so hard persuasion to sell services. You cannot just simply say not interested! They try, try and then try again from as many angles as possible. A process which should have been 15-30 minutes took hours! Really bad experience.

    I experienced extremely rude employees while at the autonation katy location. It was so bad, I will never return to this location if the service I need is something that I have to pay for. I will go to another Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge dealership and give them my money!!

  • Poor Service Coordination

    Three times I have had my Jeep in this service center, my vehicle has had to stay more than two weeks. Two times was related to the security system and one time for A/C issues. Service coordinators do not listen to the customer and deflect the issue to someone else instead of owning the l responsibility. The last two reps were defensive in their communication. The second time in the shop, there was an appointment made two weeks in advance. When arrived, I was told it would take two to three days to get a diagnostic. Why do you have an appointment if the technician is not able to diagnose the situation. Then they did not call me for a week. I had to call and they still had not put it before the tech. The situation goes on and on. Completely frustrating and poorly managed. I even contacted the service manager who did not return my call either.

    The price was free. My car had a minor issues, but the acknowledge it and fixed it. Jennifer was very helpful. They even saw me when I showed up on the wrong day for my appointment. Washed my car, gave me a ride, let me keep my car while the part was being shipped. Good service

    Jennifer, Louie and Ray the service manager, were very helpful, rendered repairs to my Jeep. The Jeep was sent back to repair shop for the water pump twice due to a faulty pump. On the other hand my ram 2500 has had multiple issues from day one of purchase and is still on going. Auto Nation has had my vehicle numerous times and worked diligently to get me back on the road.

    I had a scheduled routine maintenance for 2 pm, with my work schedule it was going to be difficult to juggle times, so I figured dropping it off early would help tremendously. I dropped my truck off and simply said if you can get to it earlier that would be a big help. I could have reschedule to fit my timespan, but my free oil change/tire rotation was due to expire very soon. Long story short, the staff was extremely helpful and professional, my truck was out within a couple hours! Special shout-out to Mr. Foreman, exceptional customer service!

    Sales experience was as good as can be expected. First round of negotiations went as expected. Second round of negotiations produced a satisfactory result and so we purchased the car. This was our third attempt to purchase a vehicle, all from different dealers and Auto Nation of Katy was the only dealer who treated us well.

    So in all honesty it wasn't a bad experience. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because the communication is terrible. Never had a single call answered when I called in. And text response is almost impossible. Like a day or 2 to get a response. Absolutely horrible. Was it fairly priced. No. But its a dealership so that's to be expected. Was it quick. No. But again it's a dealership. So going in there knowing it would be long and expensive. It was a good visit for what it was.

    This dealership not only sold me a jeep that was a lemon but upon trying trading it in had me jump through hoops on a car that “was sold” to me. Mind you this car I didn’t even ask for. They ran my info and “approved” me with out consenting with me about the car. I sent multiple cars to see if I could be approved and not one was tried. I get all the paperwork done for the car they choose and the dealership tells me someone else is in the back signing paperwork and bought the car. They failed to honor anything and tried to put me in a jeep when I specifically stated to don’t put me in another jeep after them selling the car from under me. I will NEVER do business with them again and will not send anyone to them.
