    I scheduled my 10k service, and the service folks kept to the timeframe. They kept me informed with calls and text messages. Car was washed nicely, too. The only thing preventing a five-star review is that they were unable to do the recall service this month (March), even though Ford sent me a letter in December saying my recall parts were available.

    The service team at Sterling McCall Ford did a great job with my daughters car when her engine light came on. They also successfully used our Ford protect extended service warr plan to help cover the cost. I would highly recommend them again

    One of the side pieces was already broken on the clip just one not the others when i went up there to get the car from purchasing it i told them bout it and they will not order the part to fix it unless i pay for it even tho it was broke before i even got the car ..a couple days later when took it to the highway it ripped completely off .and now not only do i have to pay for it to be fix they can not even get back to me with a price on the part .. and then after having it a week i have a leak in my tire from the air nozzle …

  • Fraud at Sterling McCall Ford Houston

    Sterling McCall Ford Houston submitted a Goodwill claim to Ford Motor Company on my damaged 2019 f150 transmission. Ford Motor Company agreed to pay 75% for a new transmission replacement, totaling $4,606.50 and customer(me) pays $1,974.21. The actual true goodwill transaction details was not discussed to me. Sterling MCall Ford Service Director told me that Ford paid 50% of my new transmission, and that my balance is $4,500. When I confronted the sales director, Calvin Miller, he immediately dropped my balance to $1,320. But not to worry, Sterling McCall's corporate office, Group 1 Automotive, did an investigation on my complaint and found no wrongdoing, just poor communication. How many people paid more than they should have? This is Fraud. This dealership is taking advantage to Ford Motor Company and the customer. What makes this whole transaction even worse, the dealership damaged my transmission in the first place. I had a transmission flush done at 77,000 per their recommendation and my transmission started to stall only days later in cold weather. I had no issues prior to the flush. I called the dealership to notify them and I was ignored by the service advisor. There is a systematic corruption within this dealership starting from the Service Director on down. People beware!!!

  • Lacking caring and knowledge

    I brought my expedition in due to some kind of oil leak in the rear of my vehicle, I suggested it might be the shock. While there i asked for an oil change and state inspection. This was on Thursday. Friday late i called on the status of my vehicle, i was told it was done. They said no oil leak, my advisor wasn’t there and no one there picked up the ball to complete this with me. I went back Saturday knowing full well there was a noticeable problem, it was on my garage floor in a puddle. The acting svc mgr had someone take it back and confirmed my problem. He also mentioned that my service writer was out Fri, but them that wasn’t my problem as he recognized the goof that no one seemed to care about, that being my vehicle was there but no one bothered to call and talk to me. As well, literally the only reason i ever went to Sterling McCall for service on my expedition was they had the best car wash after service. That is not the case anymore, i got my vehicle back with radio stations changed, seat and steering wheel adjusted, just enough to send me over the top and never go back and write something like this! I have been dealing with this terrible service department for years, no more.

    Brought my 2018 in for a needed oil change and we did the brake fluid and coolant after inspection. My service advisor is David Nguyen and he has been very helpful and timely in the past as usual. David processes you in quickly and keeps you posted on the status of your vehicle. I like the email report showing all items done and their condition. If there is an item that needs immediate/future attention its addressed in the report (with pricing) so you can determine your next move. It couldn't happen so smoothly without David's attention.

    This is my third time going to Sterling McCall for service as I bought my vehicle there. Twice, Andrew has been my service attendant and he has been very professional. He is attentive and is able to explain what is going to get done to the vehicle and the reasons why things need to be done. He also worked behind the scenes with the warranty and recall information. I would only suggest that the vehicles get the complimentary was each time. The wash was done the first time I was there but the last two times it was not.
