    Hello my name is Manrique Zavala. Bitter Sweet transactions, Sold 2 cars in 2 days to them "sort of" and was buying a car from them "sort of". Great Smooth transaction selling my 1st car to them to Megan Martin she is great! she is not in sales just acquisitions. I saw a car I liked that day, called them back the next day to see if I can sell another car and buy one from them, long story short I agreed on a price with the sales person on price X, I told him are you sure?, he told me come down, we will make it happen, "omw I live far please follow through", explained to him in detail I do not want to run my credit unless we agree on price first, "oh no problem" after my credit was ran, oh I cant sell you that car at that price I didn't get approved for that price, "I had already turned in my car to Megan I was car-less, back and forth game with the manager, I told him look I'm not playing, you aren't going to wear me down, I am already tired from selling and negotiating cars for the last few days. They ended up giving me my car back so I can leave, "Megan made that happen", The manager in the back didn't even come out "Caesar Morin" to apologize or anything, My wife and I were there in shock with everything, thank god for Megan that we got our car back, the way we were treated in the sales side shows what kind of training and or leadership is in charge. The good with Megan and the Bad with Caesar Morin. Now we lost an opportunity that we were negotiating with another car from somewhere else, we have a hard inquiry in our credit that we have to dispute for months with the credit bureaus and this sour experience from this dealer ship, that's why I hate buying cars from dealerships and prefer private parties, to avoid all of this. Buyer we ware, do not fall into the hype and friendliness, it comes down to dollars and cents, they lost a customer, my time a buy back and this bad review that I will follow up with the BBB, the owners since its family owned and the credit bureaus to remove the inquiry. The worst part of this is that nobody has contacted me besides Megan to tell me she was sorry, not even the sales rep or the manager. I will also be writing to the GM and hopefully they care enough to even contact me back. I am writing this not to be bitter, but for this not to happen to anyone else again. Hopefully I can find my wife her car for her bday that is coming up and it killed the whole surprise and experience. Thank you. I’ve been in sales my whole life, customer service, military, fortune 100 companies, and I have never been treated this way and or treated some one this way. Please do better for the next time, please fwd this email to MR. Beck and Masten, and I would appreciate it if you help me to remove this credit inquiry as well. On The Flip Side Please Thank you Megan Martin she is going places, and was very helpful and empathetic. I am a small business owner with many small business owner friends and I will be sharing my experience, the “good the bad and the ugly” I didn’t put the sales rep name on the review in google, since its not entirely his fault that falls on management I did put MR Morin on there, he needs some training to do. I will be waiting for MR Beck & Masten email to share my experience. Please fwd this to MR Joe Pierce. I can go into much further detail on this matter lots missing out.

    This was by far my best car buying experience I've ever had. This was also my first time buying from an out of state dealership. Dai is the best car sales associate I've ever had the pleasure to buy a car from. They made the process seamless and easy. Dai was extremely helpful in helping me find the perfect truck. Dai went above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care and received a far price for my new truck. Thank you again Dai! This is my to go dealership for new vehicles moving forward!

  • Fake Pricing

    I located a vehicle online that was price on Edmunds for $64,495.00. I got to the bank get approval for the amount and contact Beck &Masten for a sales rep to tell me that if I do not allow them to run my credit or finance with them the vehicle price is $2k more because of the "Discounts" they have on it. Nowhere on the website does it state that! I have bought 2 Vehicles from them over the last couple of years, but I WILL NOT BE BACK!! This was uncalled for and according to my bank Highly wrong and shows poor management.

    Apologize for the lengthy thread. But I thought I should pass along the helpful information. We leased 2 vehicles from Beck and Masten GMC in 2018. We opted to finance one vehicle last September/October when the lease was at the maturity date, being that the residual value (pre-negotiated payoff price) was an excellent value. This process went through without a hitch. In and out in about an hour. The second vehicle’s maturity date was due this month. Again, with the residual value being such a value, we wanted to purchase our second vehicle. This time, we were wanting to purchase the vehicle in cash (check) without the finance charges. Especially seeing how the APR/finance charges have increased exponentially this year with the current state of the economy. We go into the dealership, and we’re out with a sales rep within 20 minutes or so. We informed him of our intentions, and how we were wanting to purchase our leased vehicle in “cash”, no financing. Fine. He asked me if we wanted an extended warranty to which we declined. He said, ok, one moment. He then walked me over to the used portion of the dealership to meet his sales manager. The sales manager informed me, that he was offering a certification/extended warranty to the tune of $1250 dollars. I declined. He said that in order to purchase the vehicle, that the certification/extended warranty was a requirement to purchase the vehicle through Beck and Masten. I explained that I just financed my truck last September/October, and this wasn’t a requirement. He said now it is. I asked to speak to his manager at this point. He walked me back over to the sales floor in new car sales and was greeted by another sales manager or possibly the GM, Parrish Hadley. He explain that I had to purchase this same certification/extended warranty through their dealership. I informed him that this wasn’t a requirement when I purchased my truck, just last year. He said that the policy changed last year. I said that’s quite convenient. He stated that I could always just send GM a check. I was livid at this point, and informed him that because I wasn’t financing a vehicle through GMC, that they were trying to get something off of me because I was wanting to pay cash. He said that it wasn’t the case. I asked for my keys at this point and left.

  • Worst experience ever!!

    Worst experience ever. I found the exact 2021 Yukon I wanted. Submitted all information through their website to purchase the vehicle. Obviously they ran my credit. When I called to set up arrangements for delivery they told me the price of the vehicle was wrong on the website and that the correct price was about $10,000 more than what the website said. The interest rate and term was wrong, they said they could not deliver the vehicle, even though the website said they would deliver to my address. I was charged $1,695 for delivery on the summary of total purchase price their website had broken down to show everything I was being charged for. So, needless to say we did not purchase the vehicle due to it being 8 hours away and $10,000 more. They dropped my credit score from a 797 to 700 and they refuse to take the hard inquiry off of my credit history even though every reason we bought the vehicle for was a lie and fraudulent.

    I just bought a used 2021 Tahoe from Beck & Masten and it was the smoothest and best car buying experience I have ever had. Joe Nabbs was my salesperson and he was great to work with. He was knowledgeable, patient with my questions and went above and beyond to make it a great car buying experience. No pressure sales tactics nor condescending attitude. As an older woman, I really appreciated his professionalism. And I love, love, love my new Tahoe.

  • Volume Dealership lacks true customer service

    To keep this short, I was able to get the truck I wanted at the price I wanted. The waiting and lack of communication from sales/finance was a joke. I was truly “just a number.” Would I return? Probably and now know what to expect.

    Beck & Masten is an amazing dealership that truly cares and supports its customers. The salesman I was working with was Mr. Ryan. I HIGHLY recommend requesting for his services as you are looking to purchase a new vehicle. Mr. Ryan is very personable, patient, and intentional. He was extremely transparent during the sales process, which created great ease for me as the customer. Mr. Ryan works with the preowned vehicles with Beck & Masten. The dealership is extremely family oriented, from the Sales Manager to the Salesman to the financial department. Everyone seemed to have my best interest in mind.   • Would Not Give a Single Star

    Horrible experience so fas, is been almost a month since I bought a truck there. The finance guy made me digital sign that contract 3 times. When I got to the house I checked the digital drive they give you now instead of paper. Only to find out that the amount that was agreed between the salesman and me was different. Also the extended warranty that the finance guy sold me was wrong too. He told me that it was going to cost me $2700 and contract is another amount. I also got charged for a security system and aftermarkets. I only had a spray liner for $599 NOT $898. They also send another amount of money to pay off my trade in. Don’t really know why the salesman had me on the phone with Honda for 40 minutes telling me that it was crucial for them to know the pay off amount. They end up sending another amount and used my left over money for the gap insurance to pay it off. I’ll tried calling them but is been almost 2 weeks and nothing. So not happy, love the truck but not happy!

    We recently purchased a new GMC Sierra Denali pick-up truck from John Gerges. He previously sold us a new vehicle in 2015 and we personally contacted John to assist us on this new purchase due to his outstanding prior service John was knowledgeable in all aspects of the vehicle we were pursuing, answered all our questions, knew all the intricate details of the vehicle, took an inordinate amount of time programming & setting up the vehicle. In addition, John made himself available via phone/text whenever we needed assistance. We will be purchasing another new vehicle in 2020 and of course we’ll call on John again to once again make our experience stress free, smooth and fun. All staff we came in contact with were professional and courteous.

    Mr. Mark Croom, the internet sales manager went above and beyond the call of his duties to meet my needs and they were definitely met! I purchased a beautiful vehicle on October 15, 2019. When I came to pick up the vehicle, it looked Stunning and Sparkling and a red bow was placed on the hood which made it Eye Candy. The entire process was painless and swift! Hector in the design accessory department and Caesar in the finance department was great and swift as well! I left a very happy customer and I Definitely Will Be Back and I highly recommend this dealership! Thanks everyone! Everyone I encountered was nice, pleasant, and professional!   • No games. Straight to business.

    I went to 3 other dealerships before Beck Masten. They all played the usual salesman game where they hold your keys even after they’re done appraising your trade-in so you can’t leave. Got tired of all those places and Beck Masten was my last stop of the day. Robert Smith was my salesman. He came back after 10 minutes of checking out my tradein and gave me my keys back which surprised the hell out me. I looked at him funny and asked, “you’re not gonna keep my keys like all salesman do”? He said they don’t conduct business like that at this dealership. He went straight to the point and asked if I had all my numbers in order. I’d already been to 3 dealerships at that point and knew the ballpark numbers on my out-the-door price. Fast forward, I was done with my deal and was driving home a couple hours later happy that I was done with this car buying experience. Normally, I absolutely hate the car buying experience because salesmen are usually the sleeziest kinds of people to deal with. Not at Beck Masten. They’re all business and no foolishness. I can see why they’re the #1 GMC dealer in Texas. If you do your homework ahead of time like I did and know exactly what you want, go here and let them close the deal for you.
