I bought a car!!
False Advertising
by False advertising on 10/02/2020AutoNation USA advertises a 5day, 250 mile, money back guarantee, no questions asked. This is either false or I was lied to by management. I purchased a vehicle on Thursday 9/24, Friday 9/25 the power steering locked up on me and wouldn’t… let me turn, had I been on a highway or had there been other cars around, I could’ve had an accident. I called on Saturday 9/26 and spoke with a salesman, I told him I was considering returning the car. He urged me to at least let them check it first, I was already scheduled to come by in Monday 9/28 to have the front tires replaced, and I was told I’d still be within the 5 day warranty, so I thought fine, I’ll bring it by Monday 9/28. I took the car to my mechanic and really thought it over and decided it would be best to return the car, having the car act up and nearly cause an accident within 24hrs was too sketchy. I came back Monday 9/28 to return the car I’d bought on Thursday 9/24. I was told I couldn’t return it, it was my car. I spoke with the manager and was told the 5th day of the 5 day warranty doesn’t count, it’s company policy that it has to be brought in BEFORE the 5th day. Then why have a 5 day policy? I’ve never heard of such a thing, you don’t have a 30day warranty that only covers you for 29days, if they aren’t going to honor the 5th day of a 5 day warranty, then it isn’t a 5 day warranty, it’s 4 days. I’m not sure if this really is their policy or I was lied to, regardless it’s ridiculous I wish I’d never trusted them when purchasing a vehicle.Hi, we appreciate you taking the time to respond. 2009 Jeep Wrangler
by Erika Rod on 09/28/2020I went to see the Jeep in September 5 and was told that they had just gotten the Jeep. Therefore, they would have to fix a few parts, replace the front bumper and try to fix the Plastic faded fenders to look better. I signed the paperwork… on September 7 and I was told that as soon as they finished with replacing the parts that they will let me know. I just went yesterday, September 26, to pick it up. The Jeep was not even detailed from the outside or even washed. The fender still looked faded so I really don’t know what they did to it all this time with the Jeep there . I bought a used truck a few months ago at Auto Nation Toyota Gulf freeway and they gave me the truck clean from inside and outside and I didn’t have any issues with them. I have been to other dealerships to buy new cars and they always give me the car clean and shiny. I was really disappointed with the condition of the car when it was finally handed to me, after several weeks. I was expecting a lot better from your dealership.Purchased and sold a vehicle

At that time I chose not to trade in my SUV because I was purchasing more of a recreational vehicle(convertible that was not intended to drive daily). The purchasing process was extremely… easy! The staff was excellent. After about 2 months, I considered selling my SUV. I went back to AutoNation. I had done my research and knew what my Nissan Pathfinder platinum edition was worth. Their offer price was more than I had expected. I never even had to haggle! They purchased my car on the spot. by pink1546 on 01/28/2020Once they found out that I was paying cash for the car they were not helpful at all because their words they were not making any money off of the car. They gave us one key and the top cover was so worn the key could stop working at anytime… and they said there was nothing they could do. They had said before in writing that they would work again on the scratches on the hood but once again stated that due they weren’t making any money so they said it was a different manager so now they would’nt.
