His help and personable personality was much appreciated by our family. Everything was promptly, pretty much… painlessly done all the way from coming in, test driving, negotiating and buying at the end. Still waiting to rate the actual Odyssey van while we drive it for a while, but the Sales experience was great. Have yet to take it in for service either.Thank you for the 5 star review. It took 31 emails before they gave me a price. I have received a total of 18 phone calls and 38 emails. They continue to… harass me after I purchased the car from another dealer. Customer service was terriblein my opinion they dont listen.Thank you for your feedback. I am sincerely sorry that you have had a poor experience with our dealership. We experienced a problem with steering and took the vehicle to their service department. There we met Matt K., service drive manager, and can't say enough… good things about Matt. He was patient, understanding, and really went out of his way to try to solve the problem. However, no fault of Matt's the problem prevailed. Shortly after this we received a phone call from Rob T., new car sales director. He made us an offer we could not refuse, and now we are very happy customers, with a car without problems. Thank you Rob. Our sales consultant, Stephen S. was absolutely the best. Stephen is very knowledgeable of the cars he sells, could answer just about every question we had, and nothing was too much trouble. We would recommend David McDavid of Frisco to anyone interested in dealing with the BEST in car sales and service.David McDavid of Frisco rocks!!

Three years ago when I purchased my first Honda Pilot the excellent customer service I got stuck with me...hence my return to McDavid Honda.… This time sales person was Chris T. I don't want to take anything away from my last experience but Chris T. was outstanding to work with. The second we shook hands we hit it off. Throughout the time that we discussed my options Chris never pressured me even at times when I mentioned coming back another time. Chris comes across as a genuine person and is a credit to McDavid Honda...he is a credit to the car dealership industry period! By the time I made my decision to purchase my new vehicle and drive away I felt like I could call Chris a friend. Strange, I know but this guy is that friendly and caring about his job and how he takes care of his customers. Thanks Chris for a great experience...McDavid Honda has my future business for sure. He understands my vehicle - and understands me when I explain my issue even… though I don't speack 'car-ese'). We gets the job done and explains all work to me thoroughly - including what is being done and why it needs to be done.Bait and switch to sell you a different car

Then we negotiated on my trade-in and suddenly at one point in… negotiation when I told the sales person I would pay the car on my own with no financing he went back and comes and says to me the car is sold out to that person who just went out. What a waste of their and my time.Please accept my sincere apology for the unsatisfactory experience you had recently with our dealership. He is the only sales… consultant across all dealerships that actually sat down, listened to what I was looking for and narrowed down the list to an exact match. Sam S. Saving a Sale
by bborski804 on 07/21/2013updated 05/03/2025I was looking to purchase my first car when I arrived on David McDavid Honda of Frisco on Memorial Day 2013 I was greeted by a salesman who asked if I brought my mother to look at cars with me. It was actually my girlfriend which we both… look 20 years old. The comment irritated us both, but I still wanted to look at the new 2013 Civics and test drive a car since I was between another car and a Civic. I was only looking for two features in the Civic, a sunroof and cruise control. We were taken to see a couple Civics without sunroofs and were told that it was too busy to just browse and test drive. By then I had enough with making the salesman feel inconvenienced by his actions and went back inside to find another salesman. Sam S. approached us when we arrived inside asking if we had been helped. We informed him that we were told it was too busy for a test drive and he assured us it was not and that he had plenty of time to find what I was looking for and take a test drive. After the test drive i was very pleased with the Civic EX Coupe ride and standard features. I was looking for the same Civic that I test drove, but wanted the color to be dark Grey. Sam searched the inventory and emailed me the specifications of the exact car that I requested. I went in with a monthly payment in mind that I would be happy with and Sam assured me that David McDavid makes deals happen. Do they ever! I drove off the lot that day after negotiating with exactly what I expected to pay. If you are looking to purchase a new Honda, I was very pleased with David McDavid and their very large selection available and had a wonderful first car buying experience. Sam S. was able to save a sale when he cared about what I was looking for in a car and was able to find it on the lot. Sam made me feel like he wanted to sell me that car that was best for me, and assure that I was very happy with my purchase.Overwhelmingly positive experience

My service advisor, Timmy T., took care of coordinating everything. He advised that the service might… take about 90 minutes. I waited in the lounge area which was very comfortable... great coffee, many comfortable places to sit (including cubicles if you need to get some work done and use your laptop), TV, and so forth. By the time I finished my 2nd cup of coffee, Timmy let me know that my car was ready. They performed exactly the services requested and did not try to push extra services or products on me as some places might. I was very happy with the experience and the service performed on my Honda. I will definitely take my Honda there again.
