( coils , Timing Chain). 2018 had similar noise in engine and Ford tech and 1st insurance adjuster agreed new engine needed. 2nd adjusted said it was my fault as oil was low. Although it… somehow got a couple oil leaks since the last oil change in Jan 2018 and June 2, 2018 the truck was only driven 1200 miles and there was oil on dipstick and it was clean. There is no way that caused the problem with the engine. Engine has a history and even with that knowledge they are worming out of replacing the engine and doing the right thing. And all of this took 2 months. The experience was so bad I'm taking this to small claims court. Don Randall is the service manager and he and his team just didn't make anything happen. I bought cars there since 1998 and I'm have big family in Frisco so that is many friends and Family that will not be going here for a car that I can guarantee.My 2 favorite ladies in the Fleet and Family Purchasing

They were extremely helpful! Nichole and her mom were knowledgeable and open with… the whole buying process. With the money I saved, I was able to upfit my new truck with additional aftermarket options. I wish I had more time and room to show my appreciation. by Mowens518 on 03/25/2018I took my 2017 Fusion Sport in for an oil change and the transmission was acting up. They tell me it vented more than a quart of fluid, so they replaced the fluid and reflashed the transmission. I have been trying to get the paperwork on… this for maintenance records for over a week and NOTHING. Eric promised me today that it would be done, and it is not. The transmission is better, but still not acting right. Will be looking elsewhere in the future.We appreciate you taking the time to respond. Dishonest Management
by derek42 on 01/13/2018Autonation Ford Frisco, TX had a vehicle I was interested in. I stopped by and took a look at the vehicle and they took a look at my trade. I told them I would come back the next day with my wife, granted the amount they could offer on my… trade was decent. A couple hours later, I received a call from the used car manager asking me about my experience and stating that my trade-in value was between $10,000 and $12,000. I told him that $10,000 was too low for me to do the deal but if they could do somewhere in the $12,000 range, I could make that work. He agreed and said, "yeah, that shouldn't be a problem." Consequently I came back the next day, ready to do the deal and when it came down to my number on the trade they offered me $9,600. I asked to speak to the manager and he gave me a long speech about the value of my vehicle and how it wasn't worth anywhere near the $12,000. I shared with him, that the problem I had with the dealership was not that they couldn't give me what I wanted for my car, the problem was integrity. If you can't get me where I want to be, then don't tell me you can. The manager could have saved me and him a lot of time if he would have just been honest. Instead, I drove 45 minutes each way to find out we couldn't make a deal happen. Back in Texas we had limited transportation and time to find a vehicle. Once we identified this potential car at… Auto Nation in Frisco TX, Payton, our sales representative, answered all our questions and let us decide if itwould meet our needs. We explained the limits of our budget and not once did he try to steer us towards something more than we were willing to pay. Not 24 hrs after buying the car the front end began to make a terrible clanking noise. Knowing the car came as is, with no warntee, I was afraid our only option was to return the car, our option under Auto Nations five day return policy, as footing a huge repair bill was not in the budget. The people at Auto Nation however, though willing to take the car back, instead offered to fix what torned out to be bad struts and tie rods, no expense to us. Our plan is to eventually return to our floating home, but if we ever do move back to dry land and buy another car it will be with Auto Nation in Frisco.Poor customer service
by Lmattern on 10/02/2017I dropped my vehicle off Saturday for the TCM replacement with ASM Carrie O'Neil and provided my own transportation and told her no rush and to just let me know when it's done. She called me on Tuesday and stated I had to replace the… battery in order for them to complete the warranty repair . Up until this point I have had no issues with the battery or starting so I found that hard to believe , I spoke with the tech who told me that he cannot put a battery charger or maintainer on the vehicle to program the module. I am a service technician at a local dealer and this is a total lie, if anything it's encouraged to put a charger on the vehicle so it does not go under voltage requirements while programming. He than states if I don't want to replace the battery he could just "button it up" and I can come get it, inexcusable....Because there was no convencing the incompetent technician I let them replace it just to get my car back. Carrie called me wendsday at 1:00pm and left a voice mail stating the vehicle was ready for pickup. I arrived at the service department at 5:10pm when Carrie then stated the vehicle was not ready and it would be a few minutes and I could wait in the lounge area and she would get me when it was ready. I waited until 6:40 and returned to the ASM counter to discover she had went home without updating me!!!! Another service advisor found my paperwork in the cashiers office ready. Then the bill was higher than quoted for the battery!! As someone who works in the same field I am very disappointed and upset because this is the kind of treatment that gives dealerships a bad reputation , not only was I pressured into purchasing something I didn't want but also forgotten about when picking up even though I was there in person. I will not bring my car back or purchase any future vehicles from this dealer.Thank you for reaching out to us. Your opinion plays an integral part in our customer service. We had to contact Ford and they referred us to another dealership to get the service done - because they looked up our paperwork and found that we… should be getting the repairs fixed under the warranty we purchased. Not only did they not honor their warranty policy - they tried to sell us other repairs that were not necessary.Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback.
