by Webb Limited on 08/20/2025The purchase was not difficult but the paperwork when I picked up the vehicle was not all in order. The salesman was hard to get in touch with. I purchased the vehicle from several states away so communication was important. I have an issue… with the truck and have called back to discuss a repair but I have not received any return calls from the dealership.New ford transit

by GedeonMD on 05/28/2025Found a used vehicle that I really liked. Typical experience you’d expect from a dealer when purchasing a used vehicle. Sales wasn’t very knowledgeable about the vehicle and was told I owed them more money after I already cut a check.… Thankfully they made up the difference.Liberty Brunswick

by WilliamWatts on 06/22/2024First off, I won’t lie, I hate shopping for cars. After driving my last car to the death, it was that time again. My wife and I looked through cargurus and she found a good deal on a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee at Liberty Ford. The next day we… accidentally went to the wrong dealership. We didn’t realize this until we started talking to the dealer who told us the car we were interested in was at Liberty Ford down the street. Of course he had something similar but couldn’t go down even after he talked to his manager in the back. Everyone reading this knows that same old song and dance. The manager then came out in typical used car salesman mode and told us what a great deal this, and I won’t find a better deal etc., etc., etc. He went on about how his dealership is the best of the best and how every other dealership is sub par. Again, same old song and dance. I thanked him and told him I’ll think about it maybe be back. My wife and I laughed and rolled our eyes and said we’re going to hear that everywhere we go, some things never change. Thankfully we were wrong. Our dealer was Cindy and boy, was she a breath of fresh air. She was friendly, not pushy, and professional through and through. If fact, I believe that is the way things are operated by everyone there. Salespeople take note- this is how it’s done! My wife and I would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a new vehicle. As I stated before, I hate shopping for cars, but it’s inevitable the day will come when I need to get a new one. Without question I will be returning to Liberty Ford and hopefully have Cindy again.Bought My Ford Edge Here

by Eric_B86 on 04/13/2024Having saved for years to buy this vehicle, the mistake that I made was moving forward with this transaction. Purchased a 2024 ford Bronco on March 16th. The ordering process was easy. They took a 500-dollar deposit, and I notified them… that I was trading in a 2015 dodge challenger. They notified me they found the vehicle and were having it brought in. On March 16th I looked at the vehicle. It had not been cleaned, or detailed. Someone had thrown a box into the vehicle causing damage to the plastic in the cargo area, and to the plastic on the upper roll bar next to the speakers. There was adhesive still on the vehicle, which looked like scratches. They attempted to clean it up. The salesperson, Justin, stated that their detail team did a poor job and didn’t do their job(his words not mine), and then when I later pointed to the issues still existing, he indicated he couldn't see it. They offered me 14500 for my trade in. I had a bid for 17k. They indicated that no matter what that was the best that they could do, and that was the actual value of the vehicle. They indicated they would need to repair the charger and fix its rims. I proceeded with the sale of the Bronco. They did not apply my deposit to the sale and did not release the deposit back to me at the time of purchase. I purchased the optional surface-protect. I went outside to look at the vehicle and found additional areas that had not been cleaned, with possible scratches. The surface protect was not on the vehicle. I had to go because the person that was with me was feeling sick and I could not stay to try and do it a third time. When I walked into the office Justin was saying things about me to the man behind the desk and the man had to literally stop him from talking so as not to offend me. I did not raise any issues, and apologized to Justin if he felt I was challenging. I paid over 62k for this vehicle and wanted it to be in the condition I was paying for. He acknowledged the issues and agreed with that. They did not get around to applying the surface protect, nor did they clean the vehicle before I left. Justin indicated that I could come back for the surface protect once every 6 months. I left the dealership /w the vehicle and upon getting the vehicle under actual lighting I discovered that there were 3 dents in the front of the hood. 2 to the right of the center and one 4 inches to the left above the N. I set up with Justin to get the dents repaired. I took off work. I arrived exactly at the agreed to time. The dent person was not there. I set up a second time to arrive at 9 am on Tuesday the following week and took off work. I arrived early. I notified them that I had not received my second key they promised. Again, the dent person wasn't in at all the entire week. At that point the man behind the desk and someone named Alex stepped out with Justin. Alex did not have an understanding of my situation and at one point thought I was there for a used car. The man behind the desk informed me that they were aware of the dents from the place in Michigan, that the dents were supposed to have been repaired before I was given the vehicle, and they would do their best to get them fixed. He indicated there was an issue with the deposit related to the key and it hadn’t arrived. They informed me that they would send me the key when it came in. They asked me to come in a third time the following week on Thursday at 9 am. I took off work again. The dent person was there. The dent person fixed two of the dents to the left of center. While doing so he caused damage underneath the hood where he inserted a tool. He would not repair, or consider the dent, which under good lighting is about the size of a golf ball, to the right of center. He proceeded to claim it was because of the latch support in the center. The dent was about 4 inches away from that latch. He began tell me about metallurgy, and that this wasn’t related. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case; there is metal that lips under this hood area, the latch does not attach to the top of the hood panel directly, and looking at several other broncos on their lot none of them had this issue - but since I had brought this up twice and he refused twice I brought it up with Justin. Justin supported the dent person in this decision claiming he could not see it, again this is in overcast lighting. I was given my spare key. Because I needed to get back to work, I left. To date I've not received my registration transfer, they did not file it, so the transfer hasn't gone through. I now have to deal with that issue. They are currently selling my 14500 Charger for over 20k on another website. The photos of the vehicle show it unrepaired, and literally sitting next to the Bronco I purchased on March 16. While I understand that the dealer has to make money on a trade in, having to sit through the sales process and hear Justin repeatedly say how clean and nice the charger was without acknowledging the value was inaccurate – was extremely frustrating. The dealer has made more money off me related to this purchase than the actual msrp of the Bronco. The Bronco i received is not in new condition. The main mistakes that the dealership made was not inspecting the Bronco, not repairing the preexisting damage, not addressing the customer concerns related to the third dent, and misrepresenting the value of the trade in. They did offer to wash my car(on subsequent visits), fill up my tank(the only miles on the vehicle right now is from the drive to and from the dealer because I don’t have my registration), and offered to drive my vehicle to get the left 2 dents repaired; I declined what they offered because they did not resolve the issues that I was having. I am currently trying to locate another dealer that can help replace the hood entirely as the damage underneath removed metal, and the third dent has gone across the body line, and there is a lot of metal supports underneath it is preventing tools from being used. Very upsetting to have to deal with this on a new car.Great Experienceat Liberty Ford Brunswick
by AlyGotACar on 04/12/2024I purchased a Certified pre-owned 2019 exploreronlinefrom this dealership. They were very responsive and friendly. They were transparent with prices and fees and unlike other dealers the price listed included the certified status of the… vehicle. They made the process very simple and worked with me to meet the financing I was offered through another source. Alan made sure the vehicle was well-detailed, gassed-up, and extremely clean - think brand new car. They were also able to process myy out-of-state registration which was a great surprise. The company shipping the car also said te dealership andAlan were super easy to work with and a stand-up dealership.Great Customer Service

by Golfer36 on 12/18/2023Everyone very friendly and helpful in making the sale. Saw the truck on Autotrader and contacted the dealership. The salesman was waiting on me when I arrived at the dealership. Between the salesman and the manager were able to answer… all questions I had. The truck looks like it was well maintained.Good service

by Bikemontana on 05/01/2023Everything with my purchase was great. I bought this car after finding it online but I live in Montana so I had to fly there to pick it up. They handled everything over the phone and online so when I walked in to pick up the car I was there… for o my 5 minutes. My only complaint is they did a terrible job cleaning the interior of the car. I mean it wasn’t filthy but a 5 year old could have done a better job cleaning the windows. And I will need to do touch up fabric cleaning because I think the only thing they did was vacuum it out.Preowned purchase
by Occationally on 02/26/2023A lot of effort went into the advertisement. Impressive marketing on the vehicle. Price point was impressive. I was willing to drive from out of state to take delivery after working with the sales group online and by phone.Jeep compass

by Mlc1520 on 12/24/2019Sales staff went above and beyond not only to find me the right vehicle that wasn’t on their lot to the finance staff to make the numbers work. Buying used there are always little issues to address. There service department was way ahead of… the whole process. Took longer for me to drive to the dealer than service to finish the job. I have recommended Liberty Ford Brunswick to everyone who listens.Review Of My Visit To Liberty Ford
by Mike_641 on 05/01/2019I have recently purchased a 2012 Chrysler 200 with 65000 miles. I am pleased with my purchase. The sales staff who helped me with this purchase were polite and helpful from the moment I and my fiance entered the show room to meet with Matt… Smith. The car we originally were to see was sold, he had the Chrysler 200 waiting for us instead. The car was very nice, in very good repair and well maintained by the previous owner. After taking the car for a test ride and looking over the Chrysler we decided this will be a fine car to own. Even though price of this car was more than i wanted to spend, we worked with Matt and the Finance Manager and came up with a purchase price that was good for me. Overall my experience at Liberty Ford of Brunswick was a very pleasant for me and my fiance. I would recommend that anyone looking for a excelant used car to shop here. My new car rides well and has not given me any problems. I have recieved many compliments on this car. Thank You Liberty FordHindsight is 20/20! Bad experience for me too :(
by LibertyFordCustomer on 04/26/2019When I originally contacted Liberty Ford in Brunswick because I was interested in a new vehicle, they called, emailed and texted me to the point of harrassment....and from the moment I signed the papers on my lease 5 weeks ago, no one will… even reply to my simple questions. When the salesperson didn't respond initially, I began copying a general manager - still nothing. I don't live close enough to just drive there every time I need to speak to someone, and should I even have to do that? There were definitely "red flags" from the beginning, but I wanted the car badly enough to overlook them. Now, I'm sorry (really sorry) that I did and am apprehensive about having to deal with Liberty Ford Brunswick in the future. I hope I can go anywhere else for scheduled maintenance and for whatever happens at the end of the lease term. Based on this experience, I imagine that will be another ugly situation. I have never left a review for anything - good or bad - but at this point, I feel this is my only recourse and I'm going to leave a negative review on every possible site (including BBB), urging others to reconsider their choice of a Ford dealership. I'd like to think that there actually are some who sincerely believe in providing good service to their customers.Gary1
by Gary1234 on 04/11/2019updated 04/18/2019David was great to work with. Originally we were looking @ an Explorer, but it was out of our price range. Leased our 3rd Escape. David did everything thing he could to get us the monthly payment that we needed. Will definitely be back for… our next lease. Thank David.Poor Customer Service
by buckeyebob3 on 02/15/2018Contacted this dealer last week and wanted to purchase a new Escape through the internet sales manager as I have an A-Plan...no haggling. Stopped by on Saturday and sent him a VIN and location of the car I was interested in later that… evening. Got an email the next day stating they would check the car's availability on Monday morning when they got in. Didn't hear a word all day and sent him an email that evening inquiring about the car's availability. No response on Tuesday, When I called on Wednesday afternoon, I was told he wasn't in and a manager would call me back "in 5 minutes". That was at 2:30 pm and it is now 8:30 pm. I guess they don't want my business. I would give them zero stars if I could.Oil Change, Check Up, Change filters
