HIGHLY RECOMMEND
by Great on 01/26/2019James Vrindten of Wayne Mazda was an absolute pleaseure to deal with. It was a very straightforward process negotiating our CX-9 lease. We found the experience to be very accommodating, honest and we would highly recommend James and the… Wayne Mazda team to anyone looking for a vehicle.Great experience
by DG on 01/26/2019Went here at Wayne Mazda with a trade in and they worked with me throughout the process. I suggest calling for an appointment first to see their inventory and come in another day to finalize all the paperwork.Best dealer
by Emi on 01/26/2019Excelent enviroment. Misael is awesome! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended.GREAT EXPERIENCE!
by tfdross on 06/03/2018I recently leased a car from Wayne Mazda and it was one of my best experiences with a sales person and car dealership. I worked with a gentleman named Jose and it was a pleasure. Went in around 3:00 on a Saturday afternoon and was home by… 6ish with a brand new CX-5. I told him what I wanted, what I wanted to pay and the miles on the lease and it was done with very little back and forth. If you live in the area and are looking for cars definitely stop in. You won't waste your time like you would at other dealers.Be careful while Purchase
by Paramj1218 on 01/29/2018Be extra careful when u deal with sales guys at time of purchase. I came to this facility after having good calls from their online sales staff and reading reviews. I selected car and paperwork began with bargaining on sales price, color… selection etc., it took about 4-5 hours with dealership and finally got deal signed. By the time I got everything, I was given one key and said you are done and enjoy your vehicle. I surprised and said only one key? Sales guy was smart and he said sir, check it may be u have another?? Finally, they said we will give u another key as now it is not in stock. I was called about near to a month later and they gave another key and programmed. I figured it had not all the functions which one of my original key has as the trunk open button was not there. Finally, I was even okay and had accepted. Pain started from that point, my car indicator was showing key sign with red light. When I called Service department, one of their executive said u can come and we will check. When I came on my first service, they found key was not working and advised that it is wrong key configured. When I went to sales, they RUDELY Behaved€ and did not helped. When I asked to provide details of complaint authorities, they said they don't have. Finally Sales Manager came and said we can give u another key but you have to pay Program charges. Is this a way Mazda Dealership works??? I would write 5star to the service guys but sales is really worst experience. They write response on review just for response but no positive efforts every made.Amazing service!!
by peres02 on 09/30/2017Good, friendly and professional service, from Jose, the salesman to Bernadette in the financing department and their manager Sean, they work as a team to help and give the customer the best possible experience.Stay Away!!!!
by Brad242S on 08/06/2017I ended a lease on a 2014 Mazda CX9 in April 2017 and started a new least on a new CX9 in April. I was ending my previous lease two months early and both the salesperson and finance person told me that they were purchasing the lease and I… would not be obligated for any future payments. Makes sense right? Why would I make two lease payments for one car? Unfortunately Chase finance sent me a notice saying I owed them over $600 for the final two payments for early termination on my lease. I assumed it was a simple misunderstanding and contacted the dealership. The first person I dealt with said they would look into it and call me back. I never heard back. I then spoke to Jesus in Finance who assured me he would take care of it. He avoided my calls and never called me back when he said he would so after three weeks I asked to speak with a manager. I spoke with someone named Sean (supposedly a manager but who knows) who again assured me he would make sure this was taken care of. Sean asked me to send him the documents I got from Chase and told me he would talk to his finance people to make sure they clearly know how to communicate to customers (not sure how that helps me). I emailed the documents from chase financial as Sean requested assuming I would finally get a resolution. I was WRONG! Sean completely ignored my emails, didn't call me back and as expected, was always "busy with another customer" when i tried calling. At this point I give up. I am paying Chase financial the $600 because I don't want it to impact my credit score. In my opinion, Wayne Mazda lied to me and stole my money. The lack of follow up and complete disregard by it's employees is very disappointing. All I can say is buyer beware if you are as unfortunate as I am to do business with this dishonest group of people who obviously have no idea what true customer service and ethical business practices are. I know I'm only one person so this post won't hurt their business, but I hope potential customers read this and don't fall into the same deceitful trap I did.Stereotypical bait and switch dealership
by JerseyCarBuyer on 05/17/2017Edmunds seems to have good reviews for this dealer but if you look elsewhere they're rated terribly. I hope edmunds doesn't allow the dealer to get rid of negative reviews. I got an internet quote from them but should have been… suspicious when they refused to do an out the door quote based off it. When I came in it was bait and switch with a much higher price saying I was quoted discounts that I didn't qualify for previously. Don't reward this type of behavior and shop elsewhere.Courteous and Quick
by MazdaMom2 on 01/23/2017I returned to Wayne Mazda for a second lease. They were just as nice and professional as I remembered experiencing them with my first car. Will is such a nice salesman. He didn't "sell" me the car but more informed me of my options to… choose the one I preferred. The whole team was courteous and friendly every step of the process. I am sure to return for my next car again. We are so happy to hear about your positive experience with Will and the rest of our team at Wayne Mazda. We truly appreciate your business and look forward to seeing you again in the future. We hope you are enjoying your new car!

High pressure sales tactics, dirty number games
by Kraven_Lupei on 01/16/2017High pressure sales tactics, dirty number games, and an all around experience plagued my trip to Wayne Mazda when I went to look at a new car last week. I walked in the door prepared, having done research on the exact car, trim, color,… etc. I wanted and was ready to make a deal based on the local "true" car value (though most sites still inflate this number higher than you can get on negotiations). As I came in with a car I was seeking to trade-in to put towards the down-payment of this new car, the salesman I was working with asked for my car keys. I didn't think this would be a problem, but I asked FIVE TIMES for my car keys back throughout negotiations before outright demanding them when I was walking out the door. I felt trapped, uncomfortable, and the victim of high pressure sales tactics. There is no reason for a dealer to hold onto your car keys for "an appraisal" for more than an hour while the car sat locked in a parking spot. In my research on the car I was looking into, I saw many "True" car value sites showing a final sale price of $26,000 on a national level and $27,000 on a local level, with MSRP of $29,900. I let the sales guy know right off the bat that $26k was the price he had to make to sell me on the car that day; Especially considering they did not have the car in the color I wanted and refused to even respond to my suggestion of "Well can you ask around and see if another local dealer has one?" A strong forward pitch, but it felt fair to ask that for a car that is effectively now a year old in Jan. 2017, especially since now I was being sold on a Red car instead of Grey. After some back and forth with his sales manager, the salesman I was working with "settled" on a final price of $27.5k, under the condition they actually find the color of the car I want. Of course, they would only start searching for the color of the car I wanted if I put down a deposit first. Nope, wasn't having any of that and I said I would like my car keys and to walk out. Well, here comes the sales manager running over to let me know that no, he DEFINITELY has a friend at another dealer who DEFINITELY has the car I want in grey, just please give me your deposit tonight. Well, I go back to the desk and consider it, looking over the paperwork and updated terms/list price after negotiations and what do I see here? $400 charge for VIN Etching and $400 for a "Protection plan" (Also known as an extended warranty) both thrown on the price without nary a mention? I bring it up to the salesman I'm working with and he says he may be able to "remove" the protection plan cost but the VIN Etching is mandatory for all cars sold at Wayne Mazda and there's nothing they can do about it and it MUST be on there. That's right folks, for $400 Wayne Mazda can provide and charge you for a service you never asked for and can do yourself with an $18 kit off Amazon. The sales manager will try to sway you with arguments about how if your car is ever stolen and parted out the VIN Etching will somehow protect you and Wayne Mazda will pay the insurance cost (if your car is stolen) and oh, how ((SOME)) insurance companies will give you discounts for having VIN Etching. At this point? It didn't matter. I was through with the nonsense and being told I NEED to pay for these extraneous charges. I was through with not having my own car's key in my hands after asking for it 5 times. I walked out the door and continue to look elsewhere to do my business. Lo and behold, searching around some more for "True" car prices and apparently these 2016 MX-5's are being sold even in the highest trim for $24k in some places. They're losing value quickly and right now, it's January. I can wait a few more months for these cars to lose value before needing to buy one; And to think, I really would've been fine at 26 or even 26.5k list price for the car, deposit down that day, but I felt they HEAVILY tried to take advantage of what they thought was "easy prey" with me being a mid-20's car buyer.Lies and misrepresentation
by Hugo2752 on 12/11/2016Don't even think about doing business with this dealership, you’ll regret it, guaranteed! I asked for a quote online and the next day, a girl called me and assured me that they are the largest dealership in the nation, they have the… largest choice and could beat any quote I could possibly get. I told her which car I was interested in leasing, the model, color, trim and she assured me that they had what I wanted. I live in Brooklyn and had to take a subway then bus to go to Wayne. We agreed that I will call before I leave to make sure that they still have what I wanted since it takes 4 hours with the bus. The sales manager told me on the phone that morning that I could make the trip, the car is available. When I arrived that Saturday, after a long bus ride, she told me that they didn't have the color I wanted but they have another color. I was so upset and asked them to do me at least the favor of driving me to the bus so I could get home. The manager arrived and assured me that we’ll find a solution and they will pay for a cab from Wayne to Brooklyn. Next lie, I had to pay myself and fight for a refund. We agreed that they will find the color I want and they will deliver the car to me at my home address the following Tuesday. On Monday the salesman calls me to tell me that he doesn't feel comfortable driving the car to Brooklyn, but if I want to come myself to Wayne to pickup the car Tuesday evening, they will pay for a cab. I refused for 2 reasons: first I didn't want to pickup the car in a dark parking lot since I wanted to check it for scratches in the day time and second because I knew that I would have to pay myself for the cab again , and they are not quick at all with refunding the money. We agreed that the salesman would bring the car to my address Wednesday morning, and bring me also the refund for the cab and a set of all-weather mats which were part of our deal. He said OK, third lie. He arrived with the car, no check and no mats. I was ready to cancel the deal but he agreed to go to an ATM and bring me the money and give me an IOU for the mats. I checked the car, signed and he took a cab back to Wayne. After a week I called for the mats, he told me that they were in back order and I will have to wait until approximately middle of January. The IOU is only valid 30 days and they want me to wait 90 days for the mats. I told him that I couldn't wait until we get snow and mud, I will buy the mats elsewhere if they want to send me a check. Mazda is selling the mats for $125 but if I bought them elsewhere, they only wanted to refund o$75, their cost price and I would have to send them back the IOU first!! After all the lies and aggravations I endured, they had the guts not to trust me with the $75 , they want to have the IOU in hands so I could fight again to get my check!! My advice: avoid this dealership!!I got the car I want from Ramsey Mazda
by FrancoP on 11/29/2016In the past 6 years I bought 4 Cars from This dealer ship, So I figure well let go back there and buy my Mazda cx-5, so I went on line and ask for e Price, Dianne, send me a response in 10 minutes and 30 minutes later she call, so we set up… the appointment for the next day, of course when I buy cars I always go prepare, figure out what my trade is worth, and what interest rate are available, so I went in then I was introduce to Manny which is the same sales person who I got 4 cars before, He know me very well and he knows if I go there that means I will buy a car, so we seat down and start to talk he knew exactly which car I want of course they honored the price they told me on line but when they apprise my car to trade in they apprised $ 3000 less then what is worth lol so I say Ramsey is offering $ 3000 more then you guys and matching the same price for the new car after I say that the manager stop by and try to convince me that they will trick me and nobody beat Wayne Mazda so he went $ 1000 more, still $2000 less from Ramsey Mazda I told I would be stupid to take $ 2000 less for my trade when I can get the new car for the same price they offer me, so I left, I think they were under the impression that I was play the game to get better price, next they went to Ramsey get the car I want pay the price I was promise with a happy ending end, P.S. in the next 6 months I got to get the new Mazda cx-3 for my daughter,( guess where I will go?)Does not honor price guarantee
by raykap on 07/29/2016This was a horrible experience. I initially had a price quote for a Mazda CX-9 signature for $2060 below invoice. In response to an email from Wayne Mazda that they will not be undersold and will beat any price by $300, I presented a… written price quote over the phone and by email to Christina. Christina refused to accept this written price quote and indicated that this is an extremely rare vehicle and may not be able to honor the price quote. It seems they only honor this a price quote when it is convenient for them. She proceeded to tell me that I needed to bring the written price quote in physically (even though they still might not honor it). I told her that I do not want to drive 40 minutes to the dealer only to have them not honor the price quote. I asked for a manager to call me to discuss and I did not get a return phone call for 2 days. This is absolutely horrible customer service. I proceeded to buy this car from the Crystal Auto Mall who honored the price quote and even beat it by $300.We apologize that you did not have a positive experience with our team. We are happy to hear that you were able to purchase the car you were seeking at the price that fit your budget needs. Thank you for the opportunity to earn your business. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience you were caused.
Most Pleasant Review
by Lori132319 on 07/09/2016I have bought/leased many many cars in my time. This was the most pleasant experience I have ever had at a dealership. James V. (Our sales person) and Mike Z. from the finance dept. were awesome. I never felt pressured at all. They worked… with my budget and made the deal happen very quickly. I couldn't be happier with my CX-5. I wouldn't change one thing from this car buying experience. I would highly recommend Wayne Mazda.Thank you so much for taking the time to write us a great review. We are pleased to hear that you had a positive experience with James and Mike and that you got the car you wanted for a price that fit your budget needs. We thank you in advance for recommending us to your family and friends and wish you the best in your Mazda CX-5!

Best experience ever!
by D_H_NJ2016 on 06/27/2016I first came to the dealership looking exactly like the type of person who would not buy a car (It was a busy morning with the kids). But we were greeted like respected customers; and Peter patiently listened to our thoughts, concerns, and… priorities for buying a pre-owned CX-9. (Full disclosure: the most expensive car I ever bought cost $6k.) With his patient and attentive service, we felt free to consider this purchase with clear heads - and Peter, his managers, and the rest of his colleagues were always there to help. Upon pulling the trigger to purchase the CX-9, the decision just felt right. The price was very competitive and the benefits of buying certified pre-owned were compelling. Victor in the finance department was very pleasant to work with. The car drove like a dream, and my whole family felt like we just stepped into the automobile industry's best kept secret! (Or maybe we just had our head in the sand for too long....but I digress.) I used to be a die-hard Jeep fan (and still am, to a degree). But with 3 small kids, I feel like a responsible parent having this for my family...and I'll probably start saving up for our next Mazda purchase when the kids get old enough. I can't say enough good things about our purchase, and we left feeling like valued members of the Wayne Mazda family (without the holiday dinner drama). I hope this helps someone else looking to purchase. It is our pleasure to hear that you had such a positive experience with Peter and the rest of our team at Wayne Mazda. Thank you so much for taking the time to write us a great review. We truly hope you enjoy your CX-9 with your children. We appreciate your business and wish you many happy and safe miles!
Unprofessional and insulting
by Arcavius on 06/25/2016My experience looking for a used car at this dealership is by far the worst I've had in my entire life. I accompanied my brother to help him find a car and we were met by Henry Perez, the most unenthusiastic, unfriendly, and uninterested… salesman I've ever come across. We told him were looking for a CX-3 or CX-5 and we did find one that we test drove. During the test drive we asked Henry what the MPG of the car was, and he didn’t know. We also asked if the all-wheel drive was active all the time, and he said it was (it isn’t). Interesting that someone whose job it is to sell Mazdas doesn’t know basic information about the car, and what he did know was wrong. When it came time to negotiate a price, we told Henry our budget was in the $18-19,000 range. He came back to us with a price of $23,000. I understand it’s a business, but the dealership was unwilling to work with us on price or even treat us as serious buyers. What I don’t appreciate are two $399 options being added to the price without us asking for them, one of them being VIN etching. VIN etching is a trick disreputable dealers use to boost profits by overcharging for a simple procedure. We were told we could not remove this option. Not something you expect from “the largest Mazda dealership in the world”. Finally Henry brought Shawn Memetov, who I assume is his manager, though from his behavior I wouldn’t believe he holds a job, let alone a manager position. This man took unprofessionalism to new heights, constantly using a hostile tone of voice with us, and eventually resorting to just yelling at us. He took personal offence when he found out we were looking at other cars than Mazdas, which is common when buying cars—you don’t buy the first house you see do you? In describing his anger that we were also looking at other cars, he compared it to using a travel booking app in front of an agent, adding “wouldn’t you say [non-permissible content removed] is this guy doing?” His use of profanity in a sales environment was laughably unprofessional, especially as a family had just entered the showroom and was walking past us. At this point, I had had enough of this rude treatment by supposed professionals and told my brother to leave. Shawn responded by insulting me, telling my brother not to let “people who aren’t in sales” tell him what to do. He then had the gall to demand $500 just to reserve a price which we would use to compare to other cars. We left feeling so disrespected and insulted it actually turned us off the Mazda brand itself. We ended up buying a Subaru the same day from another dealer that was much friendlier and easier to deal with than this nightmare of an organization. There is no possibility I would recommend this dealership to anyone, ever.Ifthekar Hussain
by Tomrjohn on 06/27/2016IFTHEKAR HUSSAIN was my salesman. He is great! No pressure, all facts, and is not pushy. Ifthekar (salesman)
by Margaret_O on 05/11/2016I purchased mazda cx-5 a certified pre-owned vehicle just recently and because of this of my salesman Ifthekar i enjoyed it. He was very helpful and sweet. He took his time to go over everything and the best part is he always had me… smiling. I was comfortable enough to ask him questions which I thought were foolish. Very polite and wonderful to work with. Made my time there a memorable one.We are very pleased to hear that you had such a positive car buying experience. Thank you so much for taking the time to write us a great review. We appreciate your business and always feel free to come to us with any questions you may have in the future. We look forward to seeing you again but until then, we wish you the best in your CX-5!
Lacking Attention To Detail and Team Coordination
by Paula62270 on 05/04/2016We recently purchase a vehicle at Wayne Mazda and were very excited. Unfortunately quite a few things didn't go very smoothly and honestly could have been avoided if they paid more attention to detail and quality control. Firstly, their… financial coordinator didn't have our paperwork completely prepared correctly. I had left a deposit and he didn't take that into consideration when calculating my monthly payments. So I was over charged until I showed him a copy of my deposit (he should of had the original copy in the first place). Secondly, when all said and done after adding extra coverage, the math was incorrect and again I was overcharged (had to point that out as well). Its a good thing I am good with numbers or else we would have signed a contract that would have been $3195 over the original agreement. Thirdly, when we finally received the vehicle it had two nicks on the door! Now you would think their team would look the car over before delivering it to the customer. A new car should NOT have anything wrong with it. Especially after someone pays so much money. To be fair, the financial coordinator, managers and sale rep were very nice and professional. We were given all weather floor mats to compensate for the nicks on the door. I just wish they were a bit more coordinated with the whole delivery experience. I am sure others have had better experiences with Wayne Mazda but unfortunately ours was very confusing, and uncoordinated. Overall, we are satisfied with our vehicle. I would still recommend them. Just be sure to pay attention and double check EVERYTHING!Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience and for bringing these issues to our attention. We’re very sorry for any inconvenience you were caused. We do take all reviews very seriously and strive to improve with each one. We’re happy that your were satisfied with your overall experience and would recommend us. Thank you for your business.
