by tomd911 on 11/01/2016called sales yesterday morning looking at a loaded 2014 VW Tiguan loaded 14,000 miles for $19,990 and was told it is a beautiful car so we drove 45 min to see it. We met the salesman and asked about the car and he said yes it's here and… went to find the keys.After 20 min he came back and said they don't have that car but wanted to show me the other cars they had but no nav, moonroof or leather and very high miles for the same price and turns out they blamed the "mistake was made by the internet company" the ad had been up for a while and they even offered to put in nav,leather and moon roof on one of their high mileage cars, when I inquired further they admitted they never had the car, we left asap, sure they brought a lot of people in the door with that ad, hope they all walked away as well, never again, only giving one star since you can't give zero starswhere good customer service has an expiration date...
by cmh7928 on 08/30/2016I found the team at Springfield Acura to be a refreshing change of pace from the typical pushy salesperson strategy. Our sales rep was friendly, helpful, and courteous, and we ended up returning a week later to buy a 2016 MDX. After driving… the car for a week or so, I needed to return it to the dealership for installation of accessories - and I was still pleased with the level of courtesy and professionalism all around as they filled out paperwork to loan me a vehicle for the afternoon. Unfortunately, one of our accessories was not what we thought we were ordering. We told our sales rep, very clearly, that we wanted a hitch-mount to hold a Thule bike rack for the purpose of carrying 4 bikes. The sales rep told us that, "Acura makes a hitch-mount bike rack too." It would save us the step of going to Thule, so we decided to run with the convenience of getting everything in one spot. The discovery that Acura's bike rack only holds TWO bikes was a complete shock to me. We had clearly talked about 4 bikes, we were a family of 4 sitting in front of the sales rep, and we even brought up the fact that our existing rack only holds 3 bikes. So when the rep offered us Acura's bike rack, we just assumed he was listening. Why would he sell us a bike rack smaller than the one we currently had? We were very upset at this misunderstanding, but pleased that the team at Springfield Acura appeared eager to make things right. Unfortunately, they couldn't/wouldn't accept a return of the bike rack, which I find ridiculous, but they did throw out some other options, another accessory, etc. Above all, they expressed concern over whether or not we had already done the "Client Experience Survey." We hadn't - a complete "client experience" takes time, and we weren't in a rush - they're a busy dealership, we get that, and my husband was traveling for work, so connecting on the phone was difficult. And then suddenly connecting on the phone became impossible - the dealership stopped returning our calls altogether. We left several messages with the hope of settling this before we left for our August vacation... but nothing. Upon returning from vacation last weekend, we checked messages and emails... and still not a word from the dealership. We finally decided we might as well fill out the Client Experience Survey... and it was then we discovered why Springfield Acura no longer cared about returning calls; our survey link expired. Nowhere in the original email does it state that the survey would expire in a matter of weeks. Now it makes sense... they want good reviews on their Client Experience Survey, so they will make sure you receive excellent service... up to that point. Once your survey expires, so does their attention and interest in providing superior customer service to you.Bad experience with a recent purchase
by snarang on 05/10/2016We bought a "new" (as per the dealer) TLX from Springfield Acura a couple of weeks ago. Car condition - we were told the car was new and had a mileage of 62 miles on it. However, we later checked the total mileage was around 500 miles… when we bought the car. This came to light by chance as we had to take the car in for repair within a week for a tyre that was leaking air when we were handed over the car. Pricing - After a couple of visits and phone calls to the dealership, we finalized a price and were asked to pay a deposit of $3,000 to book the car at the agreed price - which we did. As the paperwork could not be completed at that time, we went again the following week to finalize the purchase and get the car. At that point, they had tacked on an additional $1,500 to the negotiated price as destination charge (~1,000) and documentation fee (~500). We had talked to 3-4 other dealers before finalizing the car with Springfield and all the other dealers had included the destination charge in their quotes. With Springfield - they never even mentioned that it would be extra on top of the finalized price until we were signing all the paperwork to drive out with the car. Financing - Having recently moved to the US, we don't have 6 months' credit history, so we paid 2/3rd of the car price outright and financed the remaining 1/3rd. The rate we were charged? 10% p.a., which, as you might guess by the account above, was only disclosed to us when we went to take delivery of the car. To top it off, they don't even care to respond. I was able to talk to the finance manager Jeff once over the few days following the purchase. I called them 6-8 times and reception would transfer the call but it was rarely picked up. Only after we found out the mileage and complained, they considered entertaining our calls. Can't believe this is the standard consumers should expect. We're going to lodge official complaints as well.Pissed Off!
by pissedoff24 on 04/23/2016IF I COULD GIVE IT NEGATIVE STARS, I WOULD! 100% absolutely the worst buying experience in my life and this would have been my 16th purchase over 30 years! Bought a 2015 SS Camaro convertible here on 4/2/2016. Returned the car to this… "dealer" two weeks later. I found out through suspicion, research, Chevrolet dealer and an independent estimate that the vehicle was involved in a major front end collision. The estimate to fix what had been "fixed" was $5,500! The most important finding was the frame of the car was bent from the first collision and never repaired, so the car was a ticking time bomb if it was in another accident! We ran three VHR's through Carfax, Autocheck and vehiclehistory.com. All reports came back clean, no accidents. The dealer claimed they "had no idea" that the car was in an accident! [non-permissible content removed] Any car dealer buying cars from auction has an obligation to inspect the vehicle both professionally and independently to assure the vehicle they're selling is as advertised, no matter what the car history reports say! Found out when the car was in the accident, the owner at that time paid for damage repairs out of pocket, so the accident would never show on a VHR! The dealership reluctantly took the car back and offered us first dibs on two more of the exact model, but with 3X as many miles as the original car. The original car had 6,300 miles on it, the other two "new" ones, 17K and 19K. The original car was $34,995, talked them down to $33,995. They offered me either of the two other ones at $32,440. So, for 6 hours of driving, tolls, gas, inspections, estimates, countless emails, countless phone calls, complete and utter aggravation and most importantly, possibly endangering the lives of me and my family had that car been hit in the same manner and one of us being killed, they offered me $1,555 off. are you kidding me??? If I was twenty years younger, I would've been going to jail! DO YOURSELF A HUGE FAVOR, DON'T EVER BUY A VEHICLE HERE FOR AS LONG AS YOU LIVE!Great Service

Had we known the level of honesty and service they provided, I wished we came here first instead of wasting our time elsewhere. Needless to… say, we left as very satisfied customers. Ours sales rep Josh Gianas was so helpful and knowledgeable in helping us with the new 2016 MDX. It was also a plus that he was so good and patient with our crazy 3 year old son! If you want honest help and cut to the chase service you will definitely find that here at Springfield Acura. I look forward to coming back for our next family car! Thanks Josh for being great to us! My second experience was today 12/31/15, unfortunately with the same sales person (Rich). Both times Rich was… treating me as I am not going to buy the car and that showed in his behavior. He shut down the deal without even giving me a chance to talk about the price. My second experience was the worse. A manager brought him a couple that was looking for a new TLX, he totally ignored me and shut down my deal after obtaining all my information and running my credit. He wanted to get rid of me so he can take care of the customers that were looking for the new car. I ended up getting a great deal from a dealer close to my house in PA after the first incident. I didnt expect to be treated like that when I am buying an eight year old car for close to 20k price. I thought many times before going back to that dealer but now I know, I won't.Professional Staff & a great Deal

Always calling when I had requested. I was turned over to Layota Marks the Internet Manager. She expedited… the whole transaction and I knew I was getting a great deal. Right from the time we walked in first into the store Joshua treated us extremely well. He was very helpful in… reviewing the vehicle features with us. The dealership did not have the color choice and model we wanted in stock. So Joshua was very diligent in locating the exact car we wanted and getting it in no time for us. He even offered to deliver the car to our home at no cost. The sales process was very easy and well coordinated. There was no pressure on adding any unnecessary accessories. He gave us a realistic opinion of what we needed. The financing process was a breeze and they got us the best rate we could think of. Upon vehicle delivery, they walked us through all the features in detail. Overall I would recommend this dealership to anyone who is in the market for Acura and Joshua as the sales person to work with. by Monikasie on 05/08/2015On April 27th, I went to Springfield Acura to test drive a 2012 Honda Civic Coupe. Two seconds after I started driving it, the under shield was dragging against the ground. Adam, my salesperson said, and I quote, "[non-permissible content… removed] is that!?" and got out of the car and took it to the shop and told me that he was going to clip it back in. During the rest of the test drive, he was telling me how good the car was and that nothing was wrong with it. The next day I came back in and bought the car. On the 29th, I had the car up on the lift in a shop. These are the following things that were wrong with it: The oil hadn't been changed, there was a nail in the tire, the entire right front fender liner was missing, the under shield (after "being resecured") was actually removed from the vehicle, the left axle boot was loose and torn, and both the rear shocks were blown out and leaking. I was baffled. I called Adam that night and he said "Well its a used car, there's going to be normal wear and tear. I can't do anything about it." This car is unsafe to drive and they will not fix it. Do not buy any cars from this dealership. They are unprofessional and do not care for the safety of the customer. They take any car into their dealership and sell it without looking at it. I do not recommend this place at all.feedback for purchase experience
