Really handled her with kid gloves and she appreciated his gentle attention.… The finance department was orderly and efficient.Love this dealership...long relationship

We were never told it was until we showed up and they tried to show us another vehicle never… telling us it was a different vehicle until we inquired about the mileage difference. We felt deceived and will never deal with them again. Untrustworthy in my estimation.5/5 Madison Honda All Around

I received false information on both accounts by the sales department. Why would I buy a… 2016 model when the 2018 model would be coming out in a few months? I hope to work with them as I only had my car for two weeks and feel very disappointed.Rich Giordano is great to work with!
by Loriconn75 on 01/03/2017Before choosing Madison Honda, I went to two other dealerships and had the typical car buying experience - the back and forth, the 'best' offer only once you've put your coat on to leave... Once I got to Madison Honda, I met with Rich… Giordano and was pleasantly surprised by his straightforward, matter of fact approach. Not only was there minimal negotiating, but Rich gave me a better price than either of the other dealerships. He clearly walked through all the associated charges and fees so that there wasn't anything unexpected. When I came back to pick up my car, Rich was very thorough when explaining all the features of my new vehicle. I sat with Al Rico to review financing and warranty options. He was extremely personable and patient. I was very comfortable and didn't feel pressured into upgrading to a warranty that I didn't want. I would absolutely recommend Rich at Madison Honda to anyone in the market for a new car. I am extremely satisfied with my experience!Highly competitive price and excellent customer service
by JoeZ2016 on 12/29/2016Was shopping for 2017 Honda Pilot EX-L AWD and asked for quotes at Edmund in the evening on Dec 22 2016. Amongst all, Madison Honda offered an extremely competitive price, an offer that is almost too good to be true. In followup email… communications with Mio, the internet sales manager, in the following morning to confirm the offer details, Mio told me that the original quote was not accurate and there needed to be some adjustment. I picked up the phone and discussed with her directly. Within 10 minutes, we came to a deal on price, which is still far better than other quotes and it greatly exceeded my original expectations for such a new year model, considering it was just released a couple weeks ago. An hour later, we met Mio and Tim at the dealership. Tim offered an excellent customer service and was very professional and easy going in showing and explaining the car. We drove off home in a brandnew 2017 Pilot two hours later. Overall, a very satisfying experience and I am still thrilled that I received my new car at such a competitive price. by Glampariello on 11/03/2016I leased a 2015 Honda oddsey about a year ago.my salesperson was alex.i called her recently in reference to trading my car in for something a little more economical We recently had twin boys.i talked to alex in reference to this… matter.our credit isn't perfect . Alex said she would call us back. She never did.i called twice after that and left messages on her voicemail.never returned my call.then i text the online person and she said she was sorry about that and would relay the message to alex.the bottom line in this situation is all i wanted was a yes or no answer if alex could do it. Alex never called back which i find very unprofessional.i will never purchase a vehicle here again.Excellent Dealership

He treated me like I was the only customer in the dealership even though it was packed. He got me a great lease… price. by jipper15 on 10/21/2014I have never written a review before- but I plan to leave this on several sites- as I think you should be warned about Madison Honda in Madison, NJ. And I will not get into the typical sleazy sales tactics the sales manager had. This is… about them advertising something and more importantly verbally telling me something worked, and even going as far as showing it to me. It is about them saying the satellite radio and Bluetooth worked, and after I purchased it found out that you need to purchase extra accessories to make that work. That is NOT what they said. Once I brought this up to them- they said they would make it right (I have the emails)- and then didn't. The sales manager said the online ads were typos and the sales person made a mistake or I mis-heard. Well I call that false advertising and a lie (or an honest mistake) but either way- they would not take responsibility- would not fix it to make it right- would not let me return the car. They told me to bring the car in and they would make things right- which they then decided not to honor. So due to their either lies or mistakes- I am now on the hook to purchase and install these items. And the cost is not even a lot of money- that is not the point - it is the principle of it all. They were also supposed to fix the rearview mirror which was not affixed correctly. So when I left the car their and picked it up 2 days later after they said they would not make it right- they also did NOT fix the rearview mirror. I learned two valuable lessons from this- 1) Check everything even if it is advertised and someone verbally tells you something is working, never trust anyone- takes away my belief that all people are good. 2) NEVER EVER purchase a car from Madison Honda- every step of the way, they were sleazy and [non-permissible content removed] or at best made mistakes that they would not honor. BE WARNED ABOUT THIS DEALERSHIP. And if they choose to respond to this- it is nonsense to make them look good on the review site- as I have exhausted all avenues to try and deal with them. There were probably 10 different options that could have made it right or a compromise- they chose none of them.Go somewhere Else
by rayd5 on 06/23/2014This Dealership has deceptive business practices. I went to the dealership to purchase the car at the end of my lease at the contractually agreed price. The dealership proceeded to increase the agreed price making the buyout price equal to… if not greater than the price of any used car currently on their lot. Essentially they wanted me to sign the car back over to them and then re-purchase at a price thousands of dollars higher than what was stated on the contract. We had a similar issue when we leased the vehicle, where the paperwork said one thing and the actual contract they wanted me to sign was completely different than what was agreed. It took them three times and six hours of my time to get the contract close to the agreement we had reached. I complained to Honda regarding the practices of this dealership and was later contacted by a manager at Madison Honda who stated that she would look in to it and never called me back. Bottom line, go somewhere else, or make sure your contract is correct before you sign it. Their management staff hides in offices at the back of the dealership and refuses to speak with customers. Instead they send a person with no authority to make any decisions to speak with you and waste more of your time. I also always like to be greeted by someone at the reception desk more interested in texting on his phone than remembering my name that I told him 4 times within a 30 second conversation that I was there for an appointment.Go elsewhere to buy your Honda. Great car, bad dealer!
by feetsdr on 06/08/2010They played the typical car dealer game - have a seat, let me go talk to my manager. And this was with an email from another dealer they said they'd match that price. 'oh, he has to get the vin for the vehicle before we can start writing… up the papers'. Then after 1 HOUR! oh, no , you aren't eligible for that low honda offered financing rate (that the sales guy confirmed in a phone call earlier and that's why we went to them). It was me, my wife and daughter - getting our daughter this, her first, car. Leading up to this visit, I joked / lamented with my daughter about the games that dealers play. As much as we knew what was going on, busy eating their snacks and surfing the web while they kept us waiting, keeping us waiting was just rude. I guess there's enough people that, after waiting all that long, say OK, we'll go with the higher financing rate. Not us. We left. We suggest you not shop here. What should have taken a fraction of the time, dragged on and we walked out when they start changing their story. If they didn't keep us waiting like that, we likely would have accepted the situation - we can easily pay cash, but if we can get .9% financing, we'd take it. Honda is offering $1000 off OR 0.9% financing. These guys said we could do both over the phone. Other dealers have said no. The sales guy was nice - Kyle, but leaving us there for an hour is just games. We figured if he's saying yes, we'd take the financing. If he said no before the 1 hour wait, we'd have stayed knowing we wouldn't get a better deal. WE'RE GOING ELSEWHERE.Good Experience

My first impression was bad because when we walked in no one greeted us for 5 mins or so, finally some one came up and said "some one will be with you in a min". Once the sales man approached he did not waste… my time (I did my homework on prise before i walked in), however they did not have car on site so I had to come and pick it up the next day. The finance guy is not one of the best, very unprofessional and always trying to get you something that you don't want and was very slow. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO TELL THIS GUYS NOT TO GIVE YOUR INFORMATION TO MULTIPLE BANKS FOR FINANCE, this may effect your credit score in future.
