Good dealership for seniors
by Gonnago on 03/25/2017Had excellent experience buying new car. Cheerfully greeted at front desk , assigned to Marquis "Q", who was knowledgeable and professional . I appreciated that he wasn't pushy. As a senior on a fixed income, I'm not… interested in 'haggling' over price . "Q" found a number of cars within my price range, and allowed me to make my own decision. Everyone I dealt with in the dealership was respectful and seemed interested in me having a positive experience.Once You Sign the Contract You're Ignored
by rvenerate on 03/07/2017STAY AWAY! The service has been HORRENDOUS being that this was my first car purchase! I am grieved to have ever done business with this company. I'm a customer who purchased a vehicle from Napleton's Arlington Heights and the way I've… been treated after signing the contract has been an insult. A huge SCREW YOU you've signed the papers already! To add salt to the injury they've handled my concerns as though they are trivial! Not only did I purchase a car, I also purchased warranties. It wasn't even a full week and their service center disappointed me by super gluing the turn knob for my light into a fixed position. The guy said that I could come back to get it fixed (I live nowhere near this place) and showed no empathy! After that I canceled one of the warranties to go with someone else who has EXCELLENT ratings. It took me CONSTANTLY calling just to receive the cancellation paper and other documents I should have been given weeks ago! Again I'm back to constantly calling just to finally get the documents after speaking to the person that was supposed to send them! I finally get the documents and send them back immediately the next day. AGAIN I'm back to constantly calling to get information. I didn't receive a receipt or anything to prove the cancellation had been processed. I left voicemails. Not once have I been called back. Not. Once. Every time I called to speak to the general manager I was redirected to someone I didn't want to speak to, ANOTHER VOICEMAIL, they were too busy or just never called back. My mother purchased a vehicle from their other location in Elmhurst within a 24 hour period and is ALSO dealing with their horrible service and deceitful practices. We reached out to corporate and they tried to throw us bone in hopes that we would settle and constantly minimized our concerns and experiences. Not to mention the person trying to negotiate with us tried to pull the victim card when stating that my problem wasn't with her. She's supposed to be a representative from their customer relations department. To see myself have to go through this further down the line is excruciatingly painful when thinking of other companies that would've treated me better. AS. A. CUSTOMER & PATRON. Save yourself the headache and do business with a better rated company. I hope this saves someone else from becoming a victim.Hi Rvenerate, we appreciate you taking the time to respond. We recently bought a new 2017 Chrysler 200
by Workman on 02/07/2017We recently bought a new 2017 Chrysler 200 from Napleton and from beginning to end it has been a terrific experience. We called into the dealership during the week and spoke to the sales specialist about what we were looking for and then… made an appointment that weekend to come in. Once we were there the dealership had a handful of vehicles waiting for us that fit our exact specifications of what we were looking for. We had our two small children with us so Napleton made sure to make the process as quick and easy as possible. David Rich, the delivery Manager was great about having plenty of fun items for the kids to keep them busy. After selecting the vehicle we wanted we took our children to lunch while the finance manager, Grayson Ludovicus and the rest of his team got everything lined up for us and called us when we were ready to sit down and sign. Everyone was great at explaining everything to us and really treated us like family. Douglas Adams from customer relations called us the next day just to check in and make sure everything about our purchase and experience went well. It was very obvious to us the entire time how important it was to Napleton that we were taken care of and treated well. This new purchase at Napleton has definitely been a great experience and there is no other dealership our family will ever go to for sales or service again.We're happy to hear that you had such a great experience with us here at Napleton's Arlington Heights Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM! by edgardo1979 on 12/01/2016I saw a "deal" on their website for $96 x 84 months. When I noticed the car had a manual transmission, I called them to cancel my appointment. The lady on the phone said come, we can get you into another car. I specifically asked her, if… its going to be more than $200 a month x 84 months, I won't go and waste my time. The lady on the phone transferred my call to a sales manager named Armi. Armi stated, come in and we can get you close to that number of $96 a month. I said again, I dont want to come in and then you tell me $200 plus a month. I ended up listening to her and I drove 25 minutes to the dealership. When I was finally told the monthly amount guess what was the monthly amounted to $300 plus a month for 84 months. This is bad communication, misrepresentation, and just extremely poor costumer experience. Say what you mean and mean what you say.Very honorable team

by NataliaD on 09/17/2016I wanted to share my great experience with Napletons Arlington Heights. Last year, 2015, I was looking to buy a car on Black Friday, but did not want to spend a lot of money. I found a one-year-old Jeep Compass with low miles at… Napletons. They had the best price I could find on-line. So, they won the competition, lol. When I came to look at my future car, I was really impressed with the atmosphere at the dealership: everyone was nice and very attentive, and the whole facility was designed for customers comfort. Once I bought my car, I realized that there was just one key for it, since it was used. I was upset about it. Luckily, Doug Adams together with Lou Poretta solved my problem with ease. I got an extra key, programmed to my car, absolutely for free! Thank you guys for a great service and customer care!Great Experience

by dougpete1 on 08/05/2016I located a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited on the Napelton Arlington Heights, IL website. It showed a $4,000 discount. I called and found out that the vehicle was on the lot and made arrangements to stop in and see it. By the way, its 1 ½… hours from my house. Before I left, I called and inquired if the $4,000 discount was what I was actually going to receive when I arrived at the dealership. The discount includes $500 for active military and $5oo for recent college grads. So its actually $3,000 discount. When I was about ½ way to the dealership, I received a call and was told that the car wouldnt actually be there because the managers wife had taken it to a car show and wouldnt be back until close to closing time. After I relayed my displeasure to the salesman, he told me he would give me a $500 discount for the inconvenience. This dealership falls into the category that many people associate with car dealers. I have had many really good experiences, but this wasnt one of them. The salesman went through the usual reasons why they couldnt really give me the full discount shown in the ad. We argued for some time and they did agree to honor the $3,000 discount. I had to bring up the additional $500 he had promised. We agreed on the selling price and he went back to prepare an itemized cost sheet for me to sign. Then a manager came out and told me that he couldnt give me the whole $500 discount but could give me $200. We discussed this for several minutes and then he went into the back room to talk to the salesman. Then he came back and explained that there had been a communication breakdown. Im always amazed that no one ever takes ownership of the devious behavior that is shown. Its always someone else that is to blame. When the salesman came back with the itemized cost sheet, there was a $995 delivery charge shown. I explained that the $995 delivery charge was already included in the window sticker (MSRP) and basically they were trying to double charge me for it. He went into a long convoluted explanation that basically told me that they were adding this on to recover some of the discount they had given previously. BE PREPARED TO HAVE A BAD EXPERIENCE IF YOU DEAL WITH NAPELTON JEEP IN ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL.I had a similar experience, we agreed to a number and I insisted they bring me out the detail listing of exactly how much I was paying (they don't like that). I missed the destination fee as I was distracted negotiating the finance rate, rebates etc. and just thought the bottom line looked okay because of the Sales Tax, Doc fee etc. I caught this the next day and complained. I met with the GM and they showed me the paperwork I had signed, my bad. They were great, gave me some of the destination fee back, some additional perks and made me happy. I did get a great price on the car to begin with so it worked out for me. My advice is to write down a number have them sign it, get the listing and make sure that adds up, if the freight is on it cross it off and if they refuse to deal, walk. There are 5 dodge dealers within 20 miles of each other.

Was very friendly and answered all our questions. Since… we were looking at the car at night, he brought the car into a inside service area so we could check out the vehicle under bright lights. Also Ronnie from financial was a pleasure to deal with. Provided us option for extended warranty, explained everything in details, and suggested one for our how long we owned our previous cars. Provided things they said they would and didn't get the runaround obtaining them. Overall great experience… considering when I bought my last car from another dealer it took 3 days to get the deal done and I'm still waiting on the mats 5 years later.
