  • Arrogant Incompetence

    So far their service suck hard. My air-conditioner is not working. First thing they told me was it would take three days for them to even look at my car. Four days later they text me a list of regular maintenance items they would like to overcharge me for with no mention of my air-conditioning problem.. After calling several times with noone answering I sent several texts asking for help the next day they texted that my bumper needs to be replaced. WTF is all I could think. Somehow my bumper is causing my air-conditioner not to work. 🤔 Update: 4 days later with no response to my texts communication from them was nonexistant so I am now standing in their service lobby and they have no further update and don't know where my car is I told them I need my car now or I will involve the police. They are now searching for my car but given the level of incompetence I have experienced so far I don't have much hope. Twenty minutes now and a guy I haven't seen before comes in and tells me "The ladies are working on it" I feel so much better now that the ladies are working on it. 45 minutes and Finally they found my car and I am on my way and the only good thing is they didn't try to charge me for anything. Bottom line: If you want to experience arrogant incompetence and total disregard for customers this is the place for you.

    Very good experience. Triston was very willing to help and went above and beyond to make sure I didn’t have to wait long. He was very detailed in his explanation of the service my truck would receive. Triston took the time out to listen to my concerns and also helped me with Ford points earned when I purchased my truck. Facilities were extremely clean, inside and out. Best part was I was able to book online, quickly, and with little wait. The extra hours, evenings and weekends are very much appreciated due to having a day time job. Then dealership I purchased my truck from doesn’t have service on the weekends or in the evenings. Jim Tidwell has earned a new customer for sure.

    My service representative was politely aggressive for me, not toward me, in getting the part needed for my F-150’s repair and displayed the same tenacity in getting my service completed in a very timely manner. I’m from out of state but will be moving to this area next year. J Tidwell Ford has earned my future vehicle service as well as new vehicle purchases. Very pleased.

  • My Warranty was not Checked

    The service agent assured me that she would check to see if my issue was covered under my warranty. She informed me that it was not covered under my warranty. However, it was covered under my warranty, she lied to me and did not follow up and check on the warranty. I was not able to be reimbursed and it cost me $865.

    I purchased my car from them 4 years ago and have had every service with them since and today was by far the best service I’ve had from them. The service tech Tristan was great with the breakdown of the services performed and when he gave me a time that my car would be finished for a simple oil change I really didn’t believe him because I have had to come back and pick up my car on many occasions 4 to 5 hrs later with a appointment. I really hope that This is the new normal with their services.

    I have visited Tidwell Ford several times for services on my 2017 Ford F-150 without any major problems. They are thorough and professional. Slow at times but depends on time of the day and workload.

  • Took too long!

    I had an appointment for a simple oil change. It took over 2 hrs to get my car back. Evidently the advisor went to lunch and didn’t deliver the vehicle back to me. So, I waited! Plus $59 for the oil change. Really? Never coming back. I will not recommend JTF to anybody.
