  • I’m over this place!

    I have been getting my oil changed there since I purchased my 2017 ford fusion from them and 90 percent of the time it is between a 2-3 hr wait with a appointment I never really complain because I usually drop my vehicle off on a Saturday and take care of my chores and I am ready when they call me but todays visit is on a Thursday and it took 1hr and 45 mins for a oil change with a appointment. When I got there I informed the advisor that I had a Dr’s appointment in 2 hours and I know that they usually take long to get your car back but she advised me they were slow today and it would be back within the hour, guess what I was late for my Dr’s appointment. The topper was when the young man brought my car to the front he had the worst attitude. I’m done!!! P.S please don’t put this on Covid or the War this has been happening since at least 2017

  • Just because you say you give good service does not mean you do!

    When driving my truck into the bay there are signs on the wall bragging about how great the service is, however, it’s anything but. What a terrible experience and lack of care. My truck was in the shop nearly two weeks to troubleshoot why the ABS Module keeps shorting out. Answer: because it’s no good. Get another one. Then I left there with a “check engine soon” light on and I could get a call back from them. So I kept calling until O got someone and they said bring it back early in the morning and leave it and they would try to get it back to me the same evening. I took it to a local shop who discovered they had left a seal open that goes to a sensor on the air intake. They told me the replacement part for the ABS brakes was available for $1250 and $800 to install it. It mounts on with 4 screws and one wire to plug in. Maximum 20 minutes. No adjusting and no testing. Just screw it on for $800. It turns out they can’t get the part now or ever. They are very unprofessional and they do not know what they’re doing.

  • Poor Communication

    I have had this problem with Jim Tidwell Ford multiple times. They don’t keep you informed on the status of your vehicle. You have to call them to find out anything once your vehicle is in their service. I asked for an all over vehicle inspection on my car while it was being serviced. When I came to pick it up, the sales person told me that they did not find anything that was wrong other than what I brought it in for. But after I read through the documents and the “vehicle report card” there were multiple items listed that I would have had serviced as well. Now I’ll have to bring my car back to a shop to have these items serviced. Had they called and told me about these things before the called to tell me that my car was ready to be picked up, I would have had them fix it then and there. A complete disregard for a customers time and patience.

    David at Jim Tidwell Ford was a GREAT help. My 2015 Ford Focus had a transmission error on the dash. I didn’t know much about cars but I know that transmission work can be expensive. The work to fix my car would have cost $2500. David was able to take a look into warranty details and got all of the work covered. I was ecstatic to say the least. I appreciate his due diligence greatly. Will definitely be heading back to Jim Tidwell Ford and working with David due to his hospitality alone!

    Took my car in for usual maintenance. Asked service team to also look at brakes while it is there and see if they needed any work done. I was notified that my back brakes needed work and I an happy that it was resolved at a fast time.
