by gek on 08/20/2019I am a second time lease customer & have all of my maintenance done at Lia Nissan Enfield. Everyone from start to finish knows who you are, is extremely customer oriented, knowledgeable, honest, and helpful. I am always greeted by name &… told approx. how long the service will take. I never have to wait, always honor my appointment time & the service is always top notch. These folks really care about their customers & want them to come back. I recommend them to everyone I know & my sister also leases through Lia. She, too, is extremely pleased & lives over 50 miles away, so she has choices.Thank you for taking the time to leave us this wonderful review! We appreciate your confiding in our dealership for your service needs, and we are thrilled that the quality and efficiency of our work always meet your expectations! Your safety and satisfaction are our priorities, and we look forward to continuing to provide you and your vehicle with our best care in the future.
Service
by dkobee on 07/25/2019On 7/22 I called service and Chris Rivera answered. I told Chris what was going on and told me to have the car brought in right away. I had the car towed in at 9:30am. By 4pm he called and explinaed the issue and told me he would order the… parts and have the car ready the next day. He set me up with a rental and the next day as promised the car was ready. He was very friendly and helpful through out the processChris, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are pleased to know that our service team has taken such great care of you. Our aim is to give every guest the highest level of customer service and quality.

by Stephannie73 on 05/27/2019I have been going to lia since I purchased my new 13 Sentra there 6 years ago. There has been a lot of turnover there. At one point I didn’t want to go back as the csr was horrible there. I have to say. This visit was the best I have had… In years !!! Christopher was the best ! He was the one that helped me in the service dept with my appt and other questions I had. Even helped me on a issue and gave great advice that I did follow up on.Great Customer Service

by Darrel on 03/05/2019Well I have been to a Nissan dealer in central CT and was completely dissatisfied. I wasn’t sure what to expect at Lia but was pleasantly surprised. Both guys in the service reception area were great. The shop was really quick at… figuring out what was wrong so it minimized my wait time. The cashier was awesome too. Great group of people. Coupon not honored
by Dmbfan31 on 04/21/2017John from service won't honor your coupon" Just recieved a coupon in my email from nissan for a $10 prescheduled oil change , only honored on Wed and Thursdays. So I made appointment for Thursday, had coupon and they took my car. John… from service never asked me if I wanted synthetic oil, he just charged me 20$ at the end, saying my car had to have synthetic oil. Umm no, I've owned lots of nissan and this isn't a high performance car and I know how to read my manual, it can take regular conventional oil. Thank you for thinking you pulled a fast one on me, but nope I kept my composure, smiled, left and called corporate. So shady. Honor the coupons and ask before you decide to upgrade, I came in only for the $10 oil change and now I'm never coming back. I know your location needs your numbers up, so a $10 oil change isn't something your into, but john, it's not your company. Please hire some ethical managers nissan.Lied to
by steve_c3 on 12/31/2015I went in on Dec 29th for the $188 sign and drive lease for the 2015 Sentra. I called before going in to make sure they had this deal still on the lot. Kimberly assured me that the $188 sign and drive, True Blue, no money down lease was… still going on and they had many of them on the lot to choose from (still have the voicemail on my phone). We went in and test drove a Sentra and decided to move forward with the lease. When negotiating the deal, Stephen informed me that there would be an additional $1,630 needed to be paid from us for “fees”. I pulled the deal up on my iphone and he brought that in to the Sales Manager, Will, to show him the $188 sign and drive, no money down, True Blue lease (“just sign and drive”). Will came back with Stephen this time and said he realized that we were looking for this deal, but unfortunately those two Sentra’s were no longer on the lot. But if we met him halfway and paid $814 that Lia would pick up the other half of the fees for us. My wife and I talked about it and decided that the deal was too good to pass up and decided to go with it. Will told us that our lease would be $188 plus tax. I was then passed off to Stew for the final signing. Stew pointed out that there was tax added on to the 188 that would be added to the payment. I told him I knew that and understood. When signing the paperwork, I asked Stew why the payment was $223? He stated, it is because he added the taxes in for me. I took him at his word and finished signing the paperwork. Much to my dismay, I reviewed the paperwork because $40 in taxes seemed pretty high to me. Come to find out Stew lumped the $814 that Lia was going to pick up as their half and put it in to the cost of the vehicle. So it made my base payment go to $210.62 instead of $188. I fell for the old bait and switch. I do understand that I signed the lease, but had I had the time to do the math, I never would’ve signed it because I didn’t agree to have that $814 rolled in to my cost. I agreed to a payment of $188 a month plus tax with Lia meeting me halfway with the other $814. The way my payment works out now is $210.62 + 13.37 tax for a total of $223.99. I understand that $22.62 a month doesn’t seem like a big deal, but over the course of the lease that adds up. I called on Dec. 30th to point this out and asked if they can make this right for me. I'm out $814 over the life of the lease. I asked if maybe they could offer me oil changes or maintenance to help offset this and haven't heard from anyone. You can make this right and I hope you will. Next stop is the BBB to point this out.Excellent Service Dept
by dbrodo4 on 10/06/2015I was there on 10/3 for some repair to my car. Prudence Doty was my Service Rep. Prudence has waited on me in the past and I've always had a great experience with her. Prudence is very knowledgeable in all aspects of work done on cars. She… is very friendly and personable. I do hope that she will be there for years to come. Prudence is one of the main reasons I bring my car to LIA of Enfield to have it serviced. Denise BThank you for a wonderful experience!!
by powerwagon4 on 10/02/2015I had a great car buying experience at Lia Nissan! Very professional and friendly sales staff!! This was my first time financing a vehicle and the business manager Chris Salvador was very friendly and explained everything so I felt… comfortable and confident in my decision with the process. I highly recommend him! I will be glad to refer people to Lia Nissan in Enfield!happy with dealership
by julie0135 on 04/12/2015Chris S. And Vaughn A. Are very helpful and service is great, i was happy leasing with Lia, and will again as soon ss my lease us upAwful Service department
by Nicole0351 on 02/03/2015Bought a used car from them 8 months ago, brought it back 6 times under there 30 day warranty. They told me each time there was nothing wrong with the car. The last time they didn't even look under the hood. Brought the car to a different… dealer and the entire engine needs to be rebuilt. So much for great customer service. Will never deal with Nissan again. Such a waste of time and money. Rude and horrible service department. also the guy who told me each time there was nothing wrong with my car apparently worked at a dealership that was specific brand to my car and still told me there was nothing wrong. This place is not where you want to bring your car or buy one for that matter and trust the company to put the time and effort into making sure you are driving away in a good car, instead they tell you to drive it 20 miles away to a different dealer because they are in capable of caring about other people who they sold cars to and just want to make sure there cars are safe to drive. Not yours. I feel 100% disrespected. My car is now being fixed properly and I won't have it back for a week.pushy salesmen.
by derekt3 on 12/18/2014I went to Lia looking to finance a car. The sales rep I dealt with wouldn't give me any straight answers when it came to price or length if loan. I even brought my pay stub and put down a 100$ deposit so they could run the numbers. I went… in three times and they still couldn't give me a definitive answer. They basically tried to get me to sign for the car before I would know how much I would be paying. I thought a large dealership like theirs would make my experience easier. It was the opposite. I decided to go to another dealership that actually was transparent with their process. I told Miguel at Lia I wanted my deposit returned. He said it would take a few days but if I came back he could swipe my card and return it faster. I came in only for him to say he couldn't swipe it because his finance manager wasn't in and I had to fill out a form. I did that TWO WEEKS AGO. Still haven't had my money returned. I've called and he keeps giving me the run around. This is the most unprofessional car dealership I've been too and even small fly by night dealerships have better practices.Opened mind
by nicmrobinson on 07/11/2014Never did I ever want a Nissan, until I met with Marc W at the Lia Nissan in Enfield. He was so laid back and had such a genuine personality. Not for a second did I feel like I was in a car dealership. The other staff was just as… incredible. The way they accommodated me was something I never expected. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone and everyone.New truck purchase
by 05titan on 03/09/2009Bought a new Frontier, put a deposit down, signed all the papers and two days later got the call that that truck was gone but they had another for $2,000 more. Talk about bait and switch. I also had the COSTCO deal but it did not help. Stay… away from this dealer. I currently own two Nissan's a Titan and a Armada LE. I had been to three Nissan dealers since 2005 and I will not purchase another Nissan. The dealers are not ethical business people and they and Nissan does not stand behind their product. As to an Extended Service Agreement you would be better off donating your money to a shelter.treatment of women customers is horrible
by befair on 07/30/2008I recieved a letter stating what a happy experience it was for the salepersons regarding my recent visit to Lia of Enfield .(concerning a Nissan Versa).I certaintly wasn't happy when I was there. I was there for 3 hours or so in a… cubical and being fed incomplete information in bits and pieces, I was physically and especially mentally exhausted. I felt like someone was trying to break me down. I actually cried in my car on the way home, I was that upset. I was very stressed .I honestly had to relax when I got home. The internet manager expressed a concern in his letter that I didn't buy anything, and said nothing at all about how satisfied I was with the experience. It was more so about their failure to sell a car.. I am sure that it was pretty clear that when I was there I was not a happy camper.. I do not like dealing with car salesman and managers to begin with, as I don't trust them. . I went into that dealership with that apprehension. My experience that day at LIa in Enfield solidified that belief . My visit was a classic car dealer treatment of a woman customer with a "little woman" mentality. The internet manager was quite nice, he was just the front man. Reasons why I was upset and not satisfied with my visit 1. I was not given the price of my trade up front, instead given the total price of the deal. I had to ask, then was kept waiting for additional time. Game playing. 2. I was pressured to take a color car-white that I did not want, really pressured- being asked why don't you want white????? Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3. was told that I would have to pay $500 to get the color I want. What!!!!!!!!!!?????? I have spoken to other car dealers since and told them that and they were dumbstruck. They found that very strange. 4. The manager was very rude, and seemed to be beligerent and defensive with me. I really felt that he glared at me, and trying to break me down to make the sale. I honestly felt that way. 5. The manager made a comment to me like "Why are your giving my friend ___ a hard time?" because I was asking questions and not taking the crap being fed to me. I was incensed that someone insulted my intelligence like that. I couldn';t believe he said that. 6. Manager would not even budge to get a better interest rate for me. I know that dealers make out good on financing. But, no effort to make me happy on that end. I have great credit. 7.Would not make a copy of the financial figures for me, grabbed it away from me when I was copying it on paper. Guess the manager didn't want me to know what I was paying for. I certainly wanted to know. 8. I have great credit a score of 820, and the manager discounted that saying that there was another side to that score. I felt my good credit was useless and not being appreciated. Why have good credit if it doesn't give you leverage as a consumer?? 9. Manager insisted that I sign a contract before he could even check on another interest rate for me. Contracts are binding, I know that, but he insisted it wasn't. I wasn't going to sign up for anything unless I was 100% satisfied. The contract would have been for the white car or with $500 for a color I wanted. 10. No efforts were made , I felt, to make me feel comfortable, or satisfied. Instead , I was given ultimatums. I am a Teacher, an educated person with a Masters degree. I thought I did my research online on how to buy a car, but I learned a few lessons on what NOT to do at that dealer, for sure. I want to avoid dealers who treat women customers like morons. I wrote a letter to various managers at Lia Nissan in Enfield via e mail. NO ONE responded!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't go near another dealer for weeks... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Lia Nissan of Enfield
by jbhog330 on 01/02/2008I purchased my 2003 Murano from Lia Nissan when it first came out. I liked the stlye and comfort of the SUV. I traded my Cadillac Deville on it and was given alot less that what I had hoped for. The salesman was very pushy and basically… talked me into a vehicle. The monthly payment on this one was over $600.00/mo. I should have walked away then but I didn't and now I am paying for it. My plan was to pay off the Murano this month but due to a defective transmission on this model I have to cough up another $4200.00. I bought this vehicle because of the reputation of reliability with these cars. Now, Nissan Motors is totally ignoring the many transmission failures of people who purchased these vehicles in 2003 and 2004. Nissan has since redesigned the unit so that this is not an issue. I would have considered this an acknowledgement of faulty design, but not at Nissan. This Dealer in my opinion is NOT a reputable place to do business with. Any honest dealership or car company would acknowledge and attempt to resolve an issue this big. Not here or at Nissan Corporate. Nissan must be waiting for someone to get killed and then maybe they will do something to correct this problem.Nissan Murano defective CVT transmissions on 2003's
by jbhog330 on 12/31/2007I recently took my Murano into Lia Nissan of Enfield only to be greeted by a [violative content deleted] who proceeded to tell me that, "we don't care what the internet says, we have our own mechanics look at these." This comment was made… after I showed her pages of complaints about the Nissan Murano transmission problems from Edmunds.com. Then the service manager, Barry told me that people get pumped up on all the information and that is usually false. Well, all the information that I had from the website, Edmunds.com was right on. I had to pay an additional $94.00 to Lia for something I already knew. It should be pointed out that I DROVE my car to the Nissan dealer on Thursday afternoon with several short hesitations upon start up on the way over. When I came to pick the Murano up, it would not move forwards or backwards. Why? What did they do that caused a total failure of the transmission? I should be totally refunded the money for the diagnostic for this alone. I want to know exactly what they did to disable this vehicle. When asked about fixing it, I was told by Barry that they could get a "used" transmission for $200-2500.00 that did not include labor taking out or putting the used one in, and of course there would be NO warranty on this. What are you people peddling over there?? Is this how a "first Class" Nissan dealer runs there operation. I would be embarassed to have presented such a ridiculous proposition for fixing the car. I have submitted a formal complaint with the NHTSA and will pursue a concerted effort with a class action suit against Nissan Motors, Lia Nissan. The attorney generals office will also be notified along with the BBB. You people ought to be ashamed of what you have done to honest hard working people who buy unaware of defects.Sales
by mwood1 on 08/16/2007I didn't have the best experience while leasing my 2007 Pathfinder SE. It helped that I had a Costco Wholesale membership, that's supposed to give you exclusive savings. MSRP with all the options in my truck was $33,500 and Invoice was… around $30,500. He sold it to me for $30,500 (about the exact invoice on Edmunds), but you have to make sure you have everything clear. All car salesmen are the same, good ones are a dime a dozen. They will try to hide extra fees everywhere, just do your homework and know exactly what you want, never bite too quickly. I should also mention that I had a $100 deposit on a Pathfinder and "another salesman delivered the wrong truck" (mine) so I took the same one with 100 more miles on it. I went into Baystate Nissan (I bought my previous pathfinder used there), and the first thing the salesman said was "is this something we can close today if everything is right?". Absolutely not, I talked with him for a few minutes and walked out. I don't want to deal with someone like that. Back to Lia, the Manager Jim is very helpful and understanding, and fixed all my problems. I got a 3 year lease with 35 payments, and after 24 months I'll probably be looking to unload it to Lia for another. I did it mainly because of the writeoff advantage of leasing a vehicle, since I have my own business. All in all, I would give them an 8 out of 10, and would lease my next vehicle there. Definitely shop around, if I found a better deal elsewhere, I would tell them what it was, and if they couldn't beat it, I would definately purchase elsewhere. Good luck.Worst Experience Ever
by BrenRedSox on 04/24/2014updated 06/04/2025Worst experience ever! From the purchase day right through a couple weeks after when we got our car back with accessories and not detailed! Customer service was terrible, mislead us about important options included in car or lack there of.… They misinformed us multiple times during the whole buying and installing extra accessories process. In the end we got a car with less options than originally asked for, dirty car (you could tell it was a very rushed detailing job) and the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We are honest, hardworking people and want to pass along our experience to hopefully prevent others going through the same thing.
Dennis, thanks for taking a moment to send a shout out to Grant. He is an amazing person to work with and we're delighted you agree. We hope you're enjoying your new Kicks!
