    I finally had to replace my 2008 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport after 10 years, and I was truly pleased with the treatment I received by Dan Cassin. I chose to upgrade to a mildly hail-damaged 2018 WRX, which totally "Wow'ed" me in the test drive. After pretty much deciding that I wanted the car, Dan insisted to have it washed so I could really look at the hail spots. Again, I saw that it was minimal and this confirmed that this was the car that I was looking for. I was really pleased to work with someone with so much experience, and his knowledge and love of Subarus really showed. Being a Subaru-lover myself, I felt like I was talking to "my people". At the end of the night that I purchased, everyone was too tired to talk about the car anymore, so he even allowed me to make a special appointment to come back for him to teach me the "ins and outs" of the car. I would highly recommend Dan as someone to trust when wanting to buy a Subaru!

    I've owned a Subaru for the past 20 years and so I of course have ended up spending some time at quite a few local dealerships getting my oil changed and occasionally other services. The treatment I received at Groove was WAY better than other local dealers. The service process always goes very smoothly, every quote is honored, and it was typically completed in a timely manner. Very happy with this service department.

  • Mechanics Used Vehicle for Personal Errands & Did Not Fix Issue

    TLDR: Groove didn’t finish fixing my car on time for a trip despite assurances that they would, after additional time they still didn’t fix the issue, and after reviewing dashcam footage I find out the mechanics used my vehicle for personal errands. Full story: I have gone to Groove since buying my Subaru brand new in 2014. I will no longer be giving them my business. Here’s why: My car developed a creaking noise in the rear passenger suspension that is especially apparent when moving extremely slowly (1-3 mph) over ground which causes the wheels to articulate independently of one another. I made an appointment and dropped off my car on a Wednesday afternoon. I informed the service advisor that I needed to take the car up to the mountains the following afternoon. He assured me that it wouldn’t be a problem and that he’d give me a call with a diagnosis by 10pm that evening, or if it was later than that, that he’d follow up by email. 10pm rolls around, no call. The next morning rolls around, no email. I called at around 9am, was put on hold for 5-10 minutes, and then was told that no notes were left and that the afternoon crew worked on my car so I’d need to call back around noon. I call back at noon, sit on hold for about ~5 minutes, then get asked to be put on hold again, sit on hold for another ~5 minutes, then get asked to be put on hold again, sit on hold for another ~5 minutes. By this time I had been on hold for 17 minutes and the same request is made, frustratedly I tell the person that this would be the 4th time I’m being put on hold and I really just need to know what’s going on with my car. She finally gets me in touch with someone but they report “oh, I don’t know why they said to call back at noon, your advisor doesn’t get in until 4:30pm.” Bearing in mind that I’m supposed to be picking up the car at 5pm, this is a little worrying. I call back at 4:30, get put on hold for about 5 minutes and finally get connected with my advisor. “Your car is on the lift right now” he said. “On the lift right now? I’m supposed to be picking up the car in 30 minutes!” I said. He apologized at offered to buy my Uber over to the shop (my original plan was to take public transport straight from work downtown). I figured, shops get backed up, it’s nice of them to buy the Uber, I can let the inconvenience of not getting the car on time and spending way too much time on hold go. I get to Groove and the advisor says “They couldn’t find an issue with the car. They checked the suspension and everything looked in good shape. I don’t think it’s a problem.” I asked if I could drive him around to show him the noise. I drive him around, he hears the creaking and we agree it needs some more time in the shop. A little frustrated that I won’t have my car for the trip, I call around to see if I can borrow a car for the weekend so I can leave my vehicle at Groove. I get that figured out and leave it over the weekend. “Yup! All fixed, it was your mud flaps making the noise.” The advisor tells me on Tuesday when I pick up the car. Awesome, an easy fix and an hour of labor cost. I was pretty happy with the outcome, or so I thought. I pull out of Groove and head north up Broadway. Within 200 yards it was obvious the issue still remained. I pulled into the Sprouts parking lot at Belleview and Broadway and idled over uneven ground to see if there was any improvement at all. There wasn’t. I head back to Groove and find the advisor. “The noise is exactly the same” I said. He responds “Yeah, we put the mud flaps back on. The noise is rocks hitting your mud flap.” “Rocks hitting my my mudflaps? At 1mph? In smooth parking lots? And ONLY on the passenger rear side?” (I have mudflaps on all 4 wheels) The advisor responds “Hey, that’s what the mechanics told me. They know what’s wrong. Just take the mudflaps off and you’ll see that’s the issue.” Frustrated, I leave Groove and head home. I get home and decide to pull the footage from my dashcam. I skip through several test drives that they do, but one strikes me as odd. I watch the full video and realize that my car isn’t on a test drive, it’s being used as a personal vehicle! Whoever is driving takes my car to go on a grocery store trip!? They leave the dealership around 8pm, head to King Soopers. Park up. Spent 10 minutes in King Soopers and head back to the dealership. In my mind this is absolutely unacceptable! On top of that, I also removed my mudflaps and the noise remains. So, the moral of the story is. Groove is a terrible dealership. I will not be using them again and recommend that you do not either. They do not do a good job and do not respect the property of those that keep their doors open.

    I came in to lease a new Subaru after my Jeep of 8 years finally gave out. Joseph made what I anticipated to be a long and stressful evening into an exciting and enjoyable one! He showed me all of my options and was very knowledgeable about each one. Once I made my decision he made it a priority to get my paperwork done efficiently so I could get out of there in my new vehicle ASAP. I was very nervous about the whole experience, it's the first car I've leased on my own, and Joseph was a huge help every step of the way!

  • Smooth, Easy Process with Friendly Employees

    I've never purchased a car from a dealership because, honestly, it intimidates me. You hear horror stories of pushy salespeople who don't have your best interest in mind. That was absolutely NOT the case here! I spotted a car that looked perfect online and submitted an inquiry about its availability. Within minutes, I had a response, inviting me to come for a test drive that same day and suggesting a couple of other cars I might be interested in. I arrived at the dealership and was greeted by Joseph McCarty. He quickly located the car and drove me to the pre-owned lot down the street. During the test drive, he told me more about the car, answered all of my questions, and actually took the time to get to know me. He handed me a packet with all the information I needed to know about the car. It was very transparent, which put me at ease! After the test drive, I knew this was the car for me. Joseph walked me through the different financing options, and the process of securing a loan with the help of Josh Federico was a breeze as well. I was not anticipating purchasing a car that day, but I walked out a very happy customer with a 2017 Toyota RAV4. Thank you, Groove Subaru!

    We made our appointment with Groove Subaru online and it went very smoothly. They immediately assigned us to Rob Pecaut, who quickly responded. From the moment we walked into the showroom, everyone at Groove was welcoming. We met with Rob, who took us over to see the new Ascent that they had for a few days. After spending time showing us everything, we submitted a pre-order for the Ascent. This was in mid-May. As we waited for news of an ETA for our Ascent, Rob kept us updated on any changes in the system with our order. Throughout the entire waiting period, Rob answered any questions we had very quickly. Finally, the day came for us to pick up our Ascent. Rob did a fabulous job going throughout the entire process from filling out the paperwork, to going over all the features of our new vehicle. We felt very comfortable with our new vehicle when we left the lot. Groove Subaru customer service has been excellent so far. Just want to give a shout out to Alan at finance, who was terrific with us. He went through the whole process quickly and efficiently. He answered all our questions. If you want a very responsive and friendly sales associate, definitely ask for Rob.

    This was my first time leasing/buying a new car! I thought Dan was the man to go to. I went to multiple dealerships and no one made me feel as comfortable as Dan did. Not only was he friendly but he was very well rounded and collected when I asked him questions. He had an answer to anything I asked and in a very timely manner. If I were to recommend a dealership I would suggest this one and to ask for Dan! Overall was one of the best customer service experiences I have had. Very professional environment.

    I had a very smooth and anxiety free experience when I recently purchased my leased vehicle. I received an email from Chris Giordano introducing himself and inviting me to discuss several options available to me now that my leased vehicle was coming to an end. He provided me with the numbers I needed in order to help me make a decision on whether or not I would purchase the vehicle or surrender it. I ultimately decided to purchase the vehicle and I'm glad I did. He had all the paper work prepared for me before I entered the dealership and before I knew it I was out the door. I also would like to thank my sales manager, Jeff Adsitt, who clearly explained to me everything that I was signing and was not "aggressive" when offering me the many different extended service contracts. In fact, he made me an offer I couldn't refuse and I took advantage of their Gold Plus plan. I left there knowing that I purchased a great vehicle and the peace of mind that if anything does breakdown I am fully covered. When I am ready to purchase my next Subaru I will be sure to return to Groove. I would recommend these guys to everyone.

    Rolly was amazing! It was the first time that my wife and I were buying a new car and were very nervous about the experience. He was extremely flexible with our schedule needs and never was pushy about getting us in. He even offered to come to our jobs and show us the car there since we had such limited time. When we were finally able to get in to see the Crosstrek the excellent service continued. Rolly helped up with any and all questions and guided us to the right choices. We will be coming back for future vehicle purchases.

    Upon recently moving to Colorado (without a car), my boyfriend and I were diligently shopping around for not only, a great quality vehicle that would fit our needs, but also for a good deal, that wouldn't break our bank accounts. We are so lucky to have found Groove Subaru, and especially Rolly! He understood and listened to our concerns and needs, and even managed to make the stressful process fun, before even knowing there would be a sale. Despite the fact that a lot of the communication was done via email or phone, the care and effort that Rolly provided was evident in every interaction. We walked away grateful and with the exact car we wanted- not to mention at the best price we had seen anywhere when comparing with other dealerships. The service and attitude shown by everyone at Groove was helpful, kind, and understanding. The customer service was amazing, and we will definitely be back in the future.     Even though I could not find the correct used Subaru at this dealership, Dan Cassin spent time with me and helped me to understand Subaru's history and brand. He reviewed the engine upgrade choices. He even reviewed some of the features of the car when I drove back into the dealership to show him my new "used" car and ask for further advice. Wish I could have bought my car here but they didn't have the year I was searching.... Thank you so much.

    I can't say enough good things about my experience Dan Cassin and Groove Subaru. I first worked with Dan 10 years ago and was so impressed by his professionalism, thoroughness, expertise, helpfulness, attentiveness ... I could go on ... suffice to say I've worked exclusively with Dan ever since (just today picked up my fourth new Outback). Little things go a long way, and Dan does the little things very well - stuff like, remembering what I do for a living and information I shared with him about my family, remembering the car features/options that are important to me, etc. I'll definitely ask for Dan again in two-three years when I'm ready for another new vehicle.
