by SS on 10/26/2019Visited this dealership recently and have never felt so Verbally Harassed , and Disregarded because of “the way we looked.” There is no other way to explain it when a sales manager throws a racial remark out in the middle of a price detail… conversation and when a salesman never comes out for a test drive he was gonna take you to solidify things. Then they are both seen standing near the entrance and Still no acknowledgment as we were leaving. Actually glad my hard earned money didn’t go here. The general sales manager has contacted me and has been very apologetic to this situation. Its just unfortunate that this unacceptable/shameful behavior occurred at this dealership. Wouldn’t want anyone to every feel this way. This is just not right, Right Toyota.Worst Service
by MonicaL on 08/08/2019My husband and I wanted to do a trade-in here. Initially we were not approved, but since my dad is a "preferred" customer they told us to bring him to co-sign. When we came with him we were offered a price that did not work for us so we did… not accept. Once we were outside, Matt Winters is his name I believe, a general manager came outside to give us a "better" offer. It was literally around 10:30 pm. He told us he could approve a lower rate with a lower payment with the term we wanted. We accepted. A few days later I received a voicemail that they did not approve our loan and that we needed to return the truck. I have been since then trying to speak to a manager to try to resolve this and never has anyone of them called me back. Everyone says they will contact me shortly and it's now been about 2 weeks and still no calls. We are about to return the truck and file a formal complaint along with sending this over to channel 3 news to inform the people what is going on at Right Toyota. No verbal contracts are honored nor the tons of paperwork we signed. Let me also state that Jared the finance guy who completed the process for us told me that he would either adjust the rate or the loan amount to make sure we got the monthly payment amount we were promised. Our entire family does business at this dealership but that has come to an end.Straightforward, fast and respectful
by KristenZ on 05/22/2019updated 05/30/2019I went through their internet sales division and was able to quickly get all of my questions answered, get a definition of the purchase and execute it without ever feeling pressured or skeezy. Ryan Bud & Ryan Macneil were a pleasure to work… with. 100% recommend.Highly Recommend This Dealership
by LauraJ on 04/24/2019From the moment I stepped out of my car on the lot, to the moment I left with my new Camry, I was treated like a queen. Every single person I spoke with was extremely helpful, kind and informative. No matter what type of car you are in the… market for, I would start at this dealership - you will not be disappointed.Deception City
by Boopsie on 03/29/2019updated 04/04/2019High pressure, can’t or won’t answer questions.Poor service and attitude of service advisors
by Becky on 03/22/2019I came in for my 20k service on my 2018 Tacoma. I asked for the cabin air filter to be saved and be place in side the truck. The advisor didn’t relay the message to the technician and he tried to replace my engine air filter. I also asked… the advisors to check if my truck had any technical bulletins out for the transmission since the truck is shifting hard at takeoff. His immediate was the truck has no updates and being rude to me about it. His attitude isn’t the first time at this dealership I’ve had bad experience with service. Also when the service was completed he didn’t offer to sign or stamp my service booklet for my records. On all the services I bring my truck in the windshield wiper fluid is replaced with water instead of windshield wipers fluid and leaving the windshield nasty. Also the first service they “ courtesy” wash they only watered down haft the truck on the second service they got the the other haft of the truck for me this time after I asked for a better “courtesy” wash. This last again only haft the truck. I’ve given this dealership three time to actually keep me as a customer but some how keeps messing it up. I will not be recommending this dealership to anyone for service or sales.Stay Away From Here
by Empathic1 on 03/06/2019I was swindled at Right Toyota in Scottsdale and their mandatory arbitration agreement makes it extremely difficult and unlikely that I will receive any restitution for their illegal and unethical actions. I am now doing everything I can to… let people know about this place. My friend also had a similar situation with these people. -- I took my leased toyota in to see if there was a way for me to get into a better financial position as I explained to the staff. I had the toyota for about 6 months. I explained to whoever that my father passed away and I got some money from a life insurance policy and that I wanted to possibly get into a better position financially. Every single staff member that I talked to and that approached me was well informed that my father and mother had died and I had received a life insurance policy from my dad. I told only 2 people about the situation, yet 5 or more knew about it. By the end of my visit, I was feeling weird that they kept going on and on about my parents and I now believe they intentionally took advantage of me when I was in this emotional state. The sales manager told me that if I traded in the leased Tacoma, it would be "a wash," and I could buy another vehicle at no extra cost. "Win-win," he said. When I found a vehicle I liked, I asked them to give me the price. The sales managers response was, "dont worry, we've taken care of you." As I was in extreme emotional distress, the detail passed by. When I was in finance receiving a "disclosure" of the document and numbers, the finance manager told me that the top number "48,xxx" was my "total purchase price!" When in fact it was my total amount financed. He used his forefingers on each hand - One of his fingers blocked out the line's text while the other pointed at the number the was "disclosing." He did not disclose this number to me as amount financed. Who in their right mind would agree to pay almost 20,000 OVER sticker? Nobody. They intentionally messed with the numbers so that it they could explain it this way and steal 20000 dollars from me. After the transaction was completed, I decided to look at my paperwork and noticed that it looked like I was paying way more than I thought. I immediately called the dealership and the finance manager lied to me, saying that the extra amount was finance charge and would not be charged to me as long as I paid the loan off early. His misrepresentation and false disclosure gave me false confidence - for this reason alone is why I did not know about how badly I was swindled by right Toyota and their staff until almost a year later. When this time came, I was looking at trading in the tacoma. I decided to check how much equity I had in the vehicle. After paying over 30000 for a 47000 sticker price vehicle, I thought I would have some equity at very least. I was SHOCKED to find that I owed more on the truck than it was worth (after paying over 30000 into it). I called the dealership multiple times asking finance to get back to me. They never did. They obviously knew they had ran out the 1 year mark and celebrated their victory of screwing an innocent person out of 20000+. I tore my hair out for weeks trying to figure out what to do. I finally decided to contact a lawyer. After discussing my options, I couldn't afford to proceed with a lawsuit. I tried again to reason with the dealership. After hours I finally told the general sales manager that I would be willing to go to arbitration. He left and immediately came back with an offer to buy the vehicle back from me. At no point was I satisfied with this transaction. I only took this offer because it was the only way to get out of my tremendous debt to the vehicle. Nobody would be satisfied paying 30000 to drive a tacoma for less than a year. The "turning in" of my truck was direct expression of disapproval of the transaction. Why would I turn the truck in if I was satisfied with it? It wasnt something I couldn't afford, it was something that did not make any sense to be paying into. 30,000 on a 47,000 truck and I somehow had zero equity. That doesn't make any sense, hence my disapproval. My disapproval also shows by the numerous voicemails, emails, and calls to the dealership and staff (GM included) stating that I was taken advantage of. In no way did I express satisfaction or approval of this transaction. When I sold my house, I contacted the lawyer again to see if it was possible to move forward after the vehicle has been sold back since I had now had the capital to move forward - filing claims based on the dealerships fraudulent and illegal activities and taking advantage of myself when under extreme emotional distress. I am now doing everything I can to let people know about the way this place handles business.Horrible sales experience- DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER!!
by Daniel on 01/05/2019My wife and I went to this dealer a day before new year's eve. We wanted to trade our '15 Corolla for a new '19 Corolla. The salesman was very nice and courteous, but when we had to negotiate price, he had to get the "assistant manager", a… guy with white shirt by the name of David. He is the most arrogant, nasty, cheat and liar guy we have ever met. He tried to cheat us many times, but I came prepare with numbers. When he realized he couldn't negotiate any longer he told us to leave and never come back. He basically threw us out. We ended up buying the same car at Earnhardt in Mesa for the price I wanted. DO NOT BUY AT RIGHT TOYOTA !!!!!!Excellent Service
by Tonim on 10/29/2018I love my Rav4 that I purchased at Right Toyota. But, I was having difficulty with my navigation system and wasn't sure whether it was user error or that it just didn't work properly. Roger, my service advisor, was able to determine the… root cause of the problem and not only solved the problem by getting me a new radio installed, but worked hard with the manufacturer so that I wouldn't be charged. He took the time and trouble that sometimes doesn't happen with other service centers. I highly recommend Roger and the Right Toyota team.Horrible sales experience
by JamesCook on 09/16/2018I used Edmund's to search for a Toyota last November. Thought I had found a deal with a new 2017 as the 2018 models were introduced. Sales guy calls me. I come in. Once in the door, he suddenly can't find the 2017 but has a "great deal"… for me on a 2018. Make a deal. He forced me to put $500 down to gold the vehicle even though there were like 30 others just like it sitting on the lot. I guess they were expecting a huge day for sales the next day. Organized payment thru my bank. I explain to the sales guy that I have a busy week coming up and need to be efficient with the delivery. Sales guy says no problem and tells me to come in for delivery tomorrow, Monday, after work. On Monday morning, I confirm details with the bank and provide him information about the funds coming from my bank. He then says he can't deliver until funds are received at the dealership. Ok. I get that. But why originally tell me Monday was a go? I tracked the payment and let him know Wednesday that payment had been received. He then tells me he wants to leave work early and asked me to wait another day. I said I needed the vehicle that day. So he makes arrangements with some other guy to deliver the vehicle. I show up at scheduled time. They page the guy. I wait. And I wait. And I wait. Finally 40 minutes later, some other guy shows up to deliver the vehicle. He was basically clueless and didn't know how to go thru the papaerwork. We finally got thru the paperwork. Then he had absolutely no idea on how to get mu $500 deposit back. He hands me the keys and shows me the door. No vehicle inspection. No demonstration of features. Over the next few weeks, I tried to reach out to Right Toyota simply to go over my bad experience. They ghosted me. Ignored emails. Ignored texts I was sending thru their 'text us' feature on the website. Nothing. No response I was even brutally honest in the post sale survey I was sent. Nothing. Finally I posted my concerns on their FB page. That generated a response from some Jason Decker guy. After weeks of emails, we got no where. Lots of excuses on his part. He did mention the internet sales director was removed from his position but I pointed out he was still listed as the contact in the website. How many other customers were reaching out to this guy and not getting responses? Since I didn't feel as though I was being heard, I reached out to the 1-800 Toyota number. The rep was kind but she basically told me there was nothing they can do as the dealership is independent I felt as though the sales guy pulled bait and switch tactics on me. Got me into the dealership to see one vehicle. Then slid another on the table. Lied about the delivery process. Didn't properly deliver the vehicle And ignored all of my contact attempts. DO NOT trust this dealership. Shady to the core #baitandswitchChad is the bomb
by KAR2065395 on 07/13/2018Thanks to Chad for being so patient with me in the process of becoming a new Tundra Mom! I enjoyed my experience overall because he wasnt your typical pushy salesman. He was polite, patient and answered all of my questions.Awesome sales experience! Thanks Jonathan!
by Jayme_B on 07/07/2018Today I went to Right Toyota to look for a new vehicle after my other one was totaled. Jonathan Kang was very friendly and was willing to work with me to get the car I wanted for a price that fit my budget. I really appreciate the effort… that he and the rest of the team put into finding me a great deal.I'd Reccommend
by Tammy on 06/29/2018Called...Jonathon Kang answered and agreed to meet us within a half hour to test drive the car we saw online. Went and drove it, liked it....had to leave to get my daughter to school and told him we would be back the next day. No problem,… no high pressure sales. Came back the next day, negotiated the price, made the deal, left to get money and came back. So about 6 hours in 2 days...not bad. I feel like he did everything he could to speed up the process which we thoroughly appreciated considering we brought our young child with us. Overall I'd recommend calling Jonathon if you are interested in a vehicle at Right Toyota, he's a nice guy and probably a good salesman although you wouldn't know that by the way he deals with you. I appreciate the fact that he didn't try to pressure us really, I didn't feel like having to walk out of a second dealership!Wonderful Experience for My Family
by MrsChase on 06/30/2018Our family worked with Chad, Fabio, Hunter and Spencer. We were upside down on our loan for our previous car and were looking for something better for our family since we have a new baby. This team did everything to help us get what we… needed in a way that worked for us financially. We are really grateful for the experience and loving our new car.Great Car-Buying Experience
by GCarpenter on 06/23/2018My wife and I reviewed a Toyota Tacoma truck for sale at Right Toyota via the internet. I used the prompt to indicate I wanted to test drive this particular truck as advertised. I immediately received a voice message from Chad Salerno… advising my preferred test drive time was available the next day. We arrived and met Chad. After pleasantries, we test drove the Tacoma. Chad was very friendly and knowledgeable in the Tacoma Trucks and operating technicalities it had to offer. Chad provided the internet sale price as advertised and we felt comfortable making the transaction with him. His personality is perfect as a dealership sales representative. We did not feel any pressure and made a positive relationship with him. He appears to truly care about the consumer and has a great demeanor for this profession. I felt totally comfortable with Chad and I would highly recommend him for future transactions.Best dealership in town

by ex.johnathan on 06/24/2018I went to Right Toyota and i met Johnathan Kang and Made very easy for me I like that and good dealGREAT EXPERIENCE!!!
by Ashley on 06/24/2018Going into a dealership is never something I'd ever look forward to. Pushy salesmen and the inauthentic friendliness drive me nuts. Jason Carter has changed the experience for me 100%. He was very genuine and helped find the perfect car for… us while keeping in mind our limits. He also went above and beyond by sitting outside the gates with me in my new car once the dealership closed for 30 minutes setting everything up for me and making sure I was 100% knowledgeable and comfortable with everything before I left. I am well aware that he did NOT have to do that for us but he did it because he is genuinely kind and helpful. Honestly I have never had a desire to recommend a car salesman in the past but I will be passing out every single one of his cards because I know my friends and family will truly be taken care of if they go to Jason as Right Toyota Scottsdale. Thanks for a great and surprising experience. AshleySales review

by StevenM on 06/11/2018updated 06/21/2018I am writing this review on both Jason Carter and Alex Poulson. Recently, I purchased a 2018 Toyota Tundra and my son purchased a 2018 Rav 4. Both Alex and Jason were the upmost professional and personable salespeople I have ever worked… with in the buying process. I would highly recommend both of them. It could not have been a more enjoyable experience. Thank you Right Toyota.

Monica, I am very sorry that your loan did not get approved and that you had to return the vehicle, this is the last thing we wanted to happen. Neither the dealership nor the customer benefit when situations like this occur and it is disappointing for both parties, especially the customer. We did spend a great deal of time and effort trying to obtain financing for you, but unfortunately we could not complete the loan and as a result we lost your family's future business. We hope you reconsider your choice of dealership and have you our sincere apology for the disappointing conclusion to your last transaction .
