Please show some respect to a loyal customer
by Joe on 08/21/2024I have purchased my last two trucks here, along with sending friends to purchase vehicles from this dealership and have always been pleased with the professionalism. However, my vehicle has been at this service shop for 7 days now with with… no diagnosis. Both simple issues have service bulletins on those exact issues which I provided printed copies to the service advisor at handoff. We have left messages for the service manager for 2 days in a row politely asking for a call back and no such courtesy given. Come on Courtesy Chevrolet, please show some respect to a loyal customer.We appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us. We are currently looking into this matter and will be in touch shortly.

Will never return to service Department
by Anthony Bell on 06/11/2023We bought 2023 traverse in January this year, from day one we had a tire that had a slow leak. We took it in for service all they did was top it off. I’d service it up while on a trip to Nebraska, had it looked at in Oklahoma and they… couldn’t find any thing. Got back to Phoenix and went in for oil change and tire rotation, still no leak found, went to Big O they took off the wheel and checked it out, reseated the bead and replaced the valve core, still leaks need to top off every other day. Went back to courtesy service told my wife 2 hours, 4 hours later while she patiently waited she got tired and asked how much longer. Finally got the car back service said couldn’t find a leak and told her she should probably go buy a new tire. At this point we don’t know if it’s the tire or defective wheel and why should we have to buy a tire out of our pocket when we purchase the vehicle new with a defect since day one.Thank you for sharing this review regarding your experience with us here at Courtesy Chevrolet, a family-owned and operated Chevy dealer in the valley. What has happened to the Service Industry?
by Incredulous on 06/28/2022I was told that the appt. would take one day. Unfortunately, the in-stock spark plugs were bad and needed to be shipped from Nevada next day. That was fine except the vehicle was to be done by 3pm and wasn't until 4pm. I HAD to be out of… there no later than 3:45pm to pickup a kid. I can't understand why it would take 2 days for an oil change, new tires and tune-up. I can only think that they didn't do any work until those spark plugs arrived which is nuts. Why not do the oil change and tires the first day? Finally, there was a huge bird poo on the windshield and as I left (no car wash) the porter stopped me to wipe off the service numbers from the windshield but not the poo. I was incredulous. Sales great Service HORRIBLE
by HORRIBLE Service on 06/25/2021For years our family has purchased here but I’ve stopped recommending them after our most recent purchase. Sales is still wonderful Oj was and always will be amazing but customer service and ANY service after purchasing is near impossible.… Three different times I’ve made the drive down and ultimately been turned away when I had scheduled an appointment for service. The features my vehicle should have won’t work because they won’t service it, they don’t offer loaners at this time but expect your vehicle to stay minimum of 2 days due to service delays (and a whole list of other excuses) and up to 2 weeks. I’ve spoken with the customer service manager and have a request to speak to some one above her because her excuse was ultimately that she couldn’t find all our phone calls in her logs and the one she did find where we scheduled service they didn’t expect us to need our car back the next day so it was OUR FAULT they decided to only do an oil change and not do a diagnostic check. It’s incredibly sad how downhill this dealership has gone and continues to go but according to the manager Samantha ALL GM dealerships are like this now because of delays, limited technicians and chip issues. Not sure how true that is though because they basically tried saying we lied until we proved them wrong with call logs then they finally admit they did have a call record but only found ONE and again it was our fault we didn’t explain they couldn’t keep the car multiples days for a check up. Still waiting on a call back from someone who can actual do something there so we’ll see how that goes!Service

by silverado_2 on 04/13/2018I purchased my 2016 truck from Courtesy Chevrolet and recently I've been hearing some weird sounds when turning the steering wheel to the right and left. The first time, my service advisor (Karen B.) indicated to me the problem and that was… fixed and well taken care of. The next couple of weeks the sound came back again. Only, this time it was while turning the steering wheel to the left anytime I was bringing the truck out of a parking space in reverse. The service technician that Karen B. had asked to speak to me about the problem, informed me that what I was hearing was normal and that there was nothing that can be done. I was grateful for the advice, however, a couple of days later the sound got worse (it was the sound a balloon makes when you rub your hand on it). I didn't want to bring the truck into Courtesy again because I felt that I would be wasting their time and I didn't want to be a problem. So instead, last week, I decided to take my vehicle to Firestone. The Firestone technicians diagnosed the issue indicating the suspension system and the struts needed to be serviced. The technician even stated something was going on with the leaf bearings/bushings etc. After Firestone diagnosed the concern, one of the service technicians referred me to a service technician at a different Chevrolet retailer. The service technician at the other Chevrolet retailer I was referred to was able to determine the problem and determined the problem was exactly how the Firestone technician explained it. The technician at the other Chevrolet retailer made an appointment for me to bring in my truck for repair. I still am providing the four star review for the service advisor especially considering Courtesy had more than five technicians test drive the truck and justified that there was nothing that could be done. So the four star rating was due to the friendly staff and friendly service. Unfortunately, I will only be taking my vehicle to the other Chevrolet retailer that I was referred to for now on.Thank you for your feedback. Should have learned the first time
by tlcuster on 08/02/2017Bought a BRAND new 2017 3500 Diesel Silverado HD (special order) from Courtesy in January. 1st Service Visit needed first oil change and alignment. Waited 4.5 hours - was told there were no courtesy vehicles available, but the shuttle… did take me to run an errand during this time. Once the truck was ready, it still had not been washed, but I couldnt wait any longer. Upon arriving home, we found greasy handprints all around the hood and a 5-inch gash on the hood from a service techs ring. I had to take the truck back the next day, a Saturday, for them to repair and repaint the hood. It took until Wednesday to complete as they had to wait for new hood emblems to come in. At least they corrected the situation, but this should have never happened. 2nd Service Visit - AC stopped blowing cold air. Brought the truck in Monday and was given a ride home by the courtesy shuttle. They called that afternoon to let me know the issue was not covered under warranty due to damage, so was quoted $1189 for the repair. Agreed to the repair, and even called back a second time to confirm the total as I wanted to pay cash. Was called on Tuesday afternoon, and updated that the truck was ready. Requested the courtesy shuttle pick me up at 2:37pm (they confirmed at 2:46pm they were on the way) and arrived at the service department shortly after 4pm. (Both of my shuttle drivers (Eric and Tanner) were extremely pleasant.) My total bill price was different than I was quoted and was asked to wait to speak to the manager. I was irritated about the billing discrepancy, but while I was waiting, they pulled the truck up, and once again it was not washed. The driver that brought my truck up tried to tell me they had a new car wash and my truck would not fit in the car wash. The driver grudgingly left to hand wash the truck and I was left to WAIT again. After the first visit, I was ensured that vehicles are washed on every service appointment unless otherwise specified to not wash. You would think after the first service visit incident (and my $1200 bill this time), they would treat you like a VIP when you returned, but that was not the case. What made it even worse, was everyone had an excuse or blamed someone else or didnt seem to care. The manager said he would take care of the bill, but then recanted, saying let me see what I can do and I was left to WAIT again. He finally came back and had taken $174 off my bill, but if it was just about the money, I wouldnt have gotten the repair done in the first place. This location is over 30 miles from my house and I drive by several other Chevy dealers to get here, but expected to be treated like family after purchasing our truck here. Instead, it feels like the service department employees just see the customers as walking dollar signs, and have no concern for your time or your vehicle. I guess I should have learned my lesson the first time with the Courtesy Service Department. I removed my license plate cover and Courtesy Chevy sticker from our truck, as I will no longer be an advertisement for them. I would not recommend the Courtesy Service Department, and do not recommend buying your vehicle here if you are loyal to your dealer. They will not be loyal to you.We have seen this review and are concerned with the experience you described. I would like to discuss what happened in greater depth if you are available.
