by SpokaneSubie on 07/11/2023A brain surgeon makes an average of $153/hr here, just to put into context what Lithia Subaru charges per hour. I was quoted that it would take 2 hours to diagnose a problem with drainage into the passenger foot bed from the ac system… condenser which I had diagnosed and provided video of AND which I had already paid them to fix two weeks prior. When it wasn’t fixed and I had to bring it back, they had the car all day, and they quoted $378 just to diagnose, not to mention no making right of the hundreds I’d paid them two weeks prior for the same problem. I get that they “spent time” on my car, but they did not fix what I’d paid them to fix in the first place. I looked it up on YouTube and fixed it myself within a half hour. One HALF HOUR. Horrible gouging at Lithia. Not only will I not be using them for service anymore, I may be in my last (of 6) Subarus as this one has been one hell of a lemon (17 forester), nor will I choose to buy my next car through a Lithia dealership if this is how they charge customers, as this has left a horrible taste in my mouth. The service employees were, and have always been great. I understand this isn’t the folks working at Lithia, but rather the company and Subaru allowing this. I was told that a manager from Lithia Spokane would reach out to discuss this with me, but never did. I was waiting to give them a chance to make it right. This was a week ago.Chris is great, however….
by SubaruWild on 06/14/2023I’d like to say that the service techs are very friendly especially Chris Taylor. However the service itself can be inconsistent. For example this last visit was supposed to take 3-4 days took almost 2 weeks. In addition I was not informed… when the car was ready and had to call in myself.Spokane of Subaru is terrible

by JKHappy on 03/09/2021Had a recall to replace power tailgate module. The technician broke a trim piece and dealer promptly ordered a new piece. It arrived a few days later and the shop installed. This happens occasionally and the dealer handled it well and no… cost to me.Outback

by Sagerlm on 05/17/2016I requested wipers to be checked and was informed that they did need replaced. He installed them in less than 2 minutes but I was charged a labor charge that was outrageous. The lot boy installed them, not even the mechanic. Probably… won't do that again!Keep this going
by Subaruhappy on 05/14/2016Easy and fast.. when I made the appointment I did ask for their least busiest day the following week. That may help. There was no emergency, just standard oil change and check over. The check in folks deserve kudos..always nice ,… helpful. The price is, I think right on. Basically, in and out. Love the car wash idea. It's called good customer service..keep it up.Excellent service!

They did the parking brake recall at the time of service which was nice so I did not have to come back in. I live 72 mile north of… Spokane. The waiting area is always nice to sit in, I had questions for the parts dept. new winter tires and rims that I will need in the future, and they were very helpful also. Over all a good experience.Oil Change
by Jmc_Forrester on 04/24/2016I came in for a 60,000 mile check up, oil change and to have my window washer motor looked at. They called me about 30 minutes later and said my car was done. I asked about the 60,000 mile check up and I was told it would take half a day to… do it. Why didn't the person who set up my appointment inform me of this when I scheduled? I took time off from work to have my oil change done and now I will have to take time off again. I am not happy about that.Happy with Subaru

by SESpokane on 02/27/2016Pleasant to deal with. Explained additional services required. I was disappointed that I purchased my vehicle new from the dealership and had to pay to have tires rotated. I feel the tires were purchased from the dealership as a part of… the purchase. When the tires are replaced by the dealer rotation will be free. Does not make sense to me that the tires on the vehicle at the time of purchase are not rotated for free.Subaru Recall
