Worst customer service experience

They lied to us about the condition of the car, told us they had serviced the vehicle, it was up to date and working great. 2 days after we bought the vehicle we discovered there was $3,000 worth of… work that needed to be done. They did not want to help us. We fought to get them to cover 1/3 of what needed to be done. They told us they were only helping us because we bought a warranty package. Wouldn't let us bring it back for them to look at. Only once the warranty kicked in (30 days later) did they want us to come back because they wanted to get paid from the warranty work.This review is concerning to read, and I'm sorry for the experience you had. We strive to be transparent with our customers about vehicle conditions, so it's disappointing that we fell short here. Very respectful, no games played with Sales and Management. Just straight… forward conversation and respect. Alex was very knowledge about the models and options, especially given he’s been there less than 3 months. Eastside Subaru delivers an easy sale!
by Alice L on 09/09/2024While car shopping, I found the exact car + trim I was looking for at Eastside Subaru. I had done a lot of research when I received a tempting quote on a brand new Crosstrek from them. I worked with salesman Arsen, who was waiting for me… outside when I arrived; I was full of anxiety, since I knew, he knew I was driving a long distance to see the car. To my surprise, everything went smoothly. I had a private test drive (no salesperson in my ear yelling specs I already knew, which I had encountered at other dealerships while on test drives). I had plenty of time to inspect the car; Arsen was present nearby if I had questions, but not overwhelming. I purchased the car at the exact price that was quoted. Some back and forth on warrenty and other additional stuff, but the deal was done in probably 30 minutes. I ended up with a gorgeous new Subaru Crosstrek. Arsen made sure to inform me of all the extras (ex classes to learn about the car) and made sure I was comfortable for the first ride home; he was very professional and polite throughout the process. 3 visits needed to get 6-monthly service done

They turned me away asking me to come with an appointment, since wait times were 4 hours. Next time they did oil change in an hour but refused to do brake fluid… flush. Asked me to come next time again. Their charges are $250 - double the typical price for this on internet. The dealership is pretty far from my home, like 10 miles. Its pretty painful to go there repeatedly and waste time for something trivial.Gary, I apologize for the inconvenience and frustration you've experienced with our service. 3 visits needed for oil change!
by Gary Jones on 08/30/20241st visit for express oil change - asked to come again with appointment, since 4hrs wait time. 2nd visit - quick oil change only. Come back for brake fluid flush. 3rd visit - paid $250 (double compared to average places) for whole day… thing, deposited the car. Come on! Flush should take less than an hour!!!Gary, I apologize for the inconvenience and extended wait times you experienced. Great Shop!
