The employees were so helpful when it came to all the questions I had both financially and car wise. I’m not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to cars, but they made the whole process of car buying much easier. I can’t get over the great customer service. I am thrilled with my purchase, and I highly recommend them to anyone who hasn’t checked them out yet.

Im a young Veteran who came from Baltimore to Virginia to buy a 09 CLS 550..... Javier (cool sales person) helped me out and everything went well. Long story short, I finished the paper work up with the boss Walter. Everything went good, he told to get my car inspected from Maryland bring it to them and they'll have my tags in a few weeks, I said no problem. I got my inspection done (brake light out but I ate the price), drove all the way back to Va and gave them my inspection papers but around this time my 30 day tags are within a week of being expired. They gave me another 30 day tags and told me that my tags should be there within a week. 3 wks go by and I'm calling none stop, nobody wants to talk to me, they're hanging up on me and I can never get in contact with Walter. My tags expired 6/4/16 and I finally reached somebody 6/2/16 and they told me I have to pay for my own tags, tax and title... No apology, no help, and no additional 30 day tags. The car was 25k and I have to pay 6% in order to receive my tags not to mention the state to state transfer fee and a few more little fees totaling 1955.00. Mind u my car tags is now expired and I can't get to work, my car got towed because of the expired tags and I have no transportation due to the fact I was lied to. The money is not issue, it's just the fact of how they lied and treated me after the check cleared. I thought they were good guys but that's life and that's the nature of the business but I'm sure Karma will be in full effect because the man above don't like dishonest ppl. In conclusion, if you're buying from out of town, make sure that you see on paper that they'll pay for your tags, taxes and title or you'll be a victim. I wrote this hoping I helped someone not to bash the dealership but it is what it is.

I can't say enough About incredible service I received from the Merlex auto group team *Walter H and especially Moe! My experience was pleasant and easy. I went to merlex auto group with a check from USAA moe greeted me with a welcoming hand shake! I told him I came to look at the Mercedes Benz S550! Moe told me that they sold it last night! But then he told me he got one just like that one with a bit more miles for a little less price! So we went ahead and moe had to go through his procedure to qualify me so I can go on a test drive! So we went inside filled out a couple documents and moe had them was the car while I was there. As soon as it got done we had to go to the gas station because the car needed some gas! He filled the tank up and got me and my kids some snacks! As well very nice people and worked out the price for me and honored the USSA members discount on his end! and also he told us he can go to his family resturant to get a meal! Awesome service I bought my blue S550! From they have a great selection! Of cars go check these guys out! I cam 2 weeks ago and put a deposit on the car and came back the following week with my co singer to purchase the car! after I bought the car there was something wrong with the speaker system they set and appointment with Mercedes Benz of Arlington and took care of the issue I had with zero cost! Marvin and Walter was amazing and got me right take my word if your looking for a car in their lot go check them out and put a deposit and pick it up later like I did! I will be back for sure next time for my other car! God bless you All!

From the moment I walked in the door and was warmly greeted by the customer concierge, my Car buying experience was nothing short of amazing. I was quickly introduced to Javier Flores (sales consultant), who listened carefully to my vague description of what I was looking for... and then found The car I came for! Unlike virtually every other dealership I've ever visited, there was no "hard sell", no push to up-sell, etc. Javier was a gentleman throughout the entire process and went out of his way to make sure I was fully informed about every single detail regarding about the vehicle and the price for the vehicle . As a side note - while I was there, Javier was also occasionally fielding calls to help out a previous customer, an elderly gentleman who was having problems with his car that had broken down on the side of the road. I overhered The conversation with AAA and Javier to get it squared right away! And he advise the elderly man to come in and he will assist him in a rental while his car gets take care of! that he got involved for the elderly man! I was shocked and I was impressed with his willingness to help someone beyond the scope of his job. I only hope that when I'm in my 80's and having trouble, someone like Javier Flores will go out of his way to help me. From the customer concierge, to Javier Flores the sales consultant, to the sales manager, the general manager (who stopped in to introduce himself) and on through to the business manager and the product specialist (who taught me how to use the many amazing features on my new vehicle), my experience at Merlex Auto Group. Walter has been a pleasure and a delight. They all - with Javier in particular - certainly get my highest recommendation for anyone in the market for a fine automobile. Please make sure you go ahead and give these guys a chance to give you the best service and to exceed your car buying expectations!

I can honestly say this has been one of the best car service! My wife and I Marlene went online to look for a used Car becuase we just been in a total loss with our Mercedes Benz! We came across Merlex auto group page and found a car! After doing some research on behalf of Merlex auto group we weren't to sure that we wanted to do any transactions with the dealership! Becuase with the type of reviews that was posted about the dealership and staff! But I went ahead and gave them a call! Walter picked up the phone and assisted me with the car specs and Carfax and etc! Marlene and I went down there Saturday as soon as we got there Walter greeted us and helped us out! When we came to the office he got us one water! We came to an agreement with the he price etc and my wife and I left here happy easy process for easy going team! That just wants to grown better in what they do! So I highly recommend consumer to go there and see it from there own prospective! I also love bed the other cars that they had! The most pleasant and beyond satisfy experience I have ever gone through. Unfortunately I didn't drive out with what I wanted simply because of financial reasons but the alternative choice of vehicle they have provided is beyond words for me. Was first assisted by Javier, genuine guy who made sure I wasn't walking out without a car. Then was handed over to Walter, tooken by surprise how young he looked but his professionalism surpasses that. These 2 gentleman made some impossibles, possible! The magic they worked in practically 2 days to satisfy my needs, couldn't appreciate it more. Well recommended place to go to. For me who just turned 20 and recently got my license, to gain the trust by these two gentleman in such little time and for them to bend their backs they way they did, had me driving out feeling like a rockstar!

Went to look at a specific vehicle that they said was in stock.When I arrived they said it was in the shop and they had one similar.The vehicle needed several repairs to pass inspection whom Bola and Walter stated they would repair.That never happen.I couldnt get them on the phone.Someone would say they are busy or out with customer.After I did some research on the warranty they stood by,I found out that they only repair up to $2k.The vehicle needed $5k in repairs that they lied and said they would take care of them..Stay away from this stealerhip

wouldn't ordinarily go to an independent used car lot for a car, but Merlex Auto Group advertised the 2013 Lexus GS 350 I had been looking for at a very good price. I showed up at 8:30 not realizing they were only open until 8, but i looked around the lot to gauge the quality of the vehicles they were offering for sale. I was pleasantly surprised to see only late model luxury vehicles. Shortly, Bola came out of the office to introduce himself and see if he could help me. We spent about half an hour talking about the business, where they get cars and cars in general. The Lexus i was interested in had been taken home by the owner, Alex. Bola called him and we arranged a test drive for the next evening to accommodate my work schedule. After the drive the next evening I told Alex I was still interested, but I needed to see the car in the daytime so I'd come back on the weekend. He offered to let me take the car overnight and drive it for a day. That gave me time to let my mechanic look it over and to decide that this was the car for me. The next night negotiations with Alex were very up-front and fair. A deal was struck very quickly for what I consider a very good price. Walter was a whiz at the paperwork. The whole team was a pleasure to work with. Walter and Bola were friendly, courteous and helpful from the moment I stepped onto the lot. Alex is a gentleman and a boss who stresses customer service with his staff and it showed during my 3 visits to the lot to make my purchase. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a quality used car.

Thank you so so much to the whole family at Merlex Auto Group for taking such good care of us with our new purchase! They were amazing! They treated us as if we were family from the get go!! From the minute we arrived, they were top notch. They picked us up at the airport, no waiting time at all, down to driving off the lot with our new car, they made it a wonderful and a unforgettable experience and we got our new Cadillac Escalade at a great price! I'm not sure what happened with these past reviews, but we had an amazing experience with them. As a first time visitor to Merlex Auto Group in Arlington VA, I was pleased with the new dealership in my town That I did busniess with! However, after getting help from Walter, we decided to stick around! Before I came in I did some research about Merlex Auto Group which I did not like about it. So by Wife and I living right around the corner from Merlex Auto Group. I still decided to give them an opportunity. And I will make sure Melissa and I both tell everyone that is in the market for a car to come See Merlex and give them a try no matter what everyone else say!. Because at the end of the day I don't judge a book by its cover! Walter was extremely helpful, not pushy at all, and very transparent about the entire process. We spent 30 Mins discussing about how I wanted the whole deal to go down! I told him that I am looking for the best number on my trade-in (Jeep Rubicon). And I wanted the best number on their vehicle (Jeep Wrangler). The reason for the trade in because my wife dose not drive manual so I had to get an automatic one for her and my self. So Walter and I agreed upon everything. I had big tires on my Jeep and wanted to swap tires with there vehicle, So I notified him. So he stated to me that he has to make a phone call to his boss to let him know about that which he did. So the transaction was going to take until the next morning because the shops were closed for us to swap the wheels. So I came in the next morning. To finalize the deal and lock In the loan! I told Walter About my credit. Right away He stated to me that you can get the best rates through USAA Federal Savings Bank, If I was a Member. Which my wife and I both were! Which My wife and I was not aware of as well!. So he help out us right away to get us the best rate through the whole loan portion! I thanked him for guiding Us the right away. It was a great experience, Great customer service! Action Speaks louder than Words! Go and Give them a try without a doubt you will be satisfied what Merlex Auto Group and what Walter Can do for you! Who says Friday the 13th is a bad day? On November 13th which was a Friday, I was able to make my husband dream come true. I didn't do it alone. With the help of Walter and the whole Merlex family, I was able to get my husband his 2006 Infinity M45 fully loaded at a great price. The experience was exciting, fast and easy. Walter pulled every string he could and made it happen. The team kept us calm and the hospitality was amazing. Though we were all laughing and joking, the team remained professional and high spirited. We were welcomed with open arms. Now my husband is happy and loving his new ride and i am loving the passenger seat and occasionally the driver seat every now and then. I would like to say thank you so much for all your help and support to Merlex Auto Group. I recommend anyone who wants the best bang for your buck to Merlex Auto Group. I came very prepared to purchase a vehicle from this dealer after very thorough and thoughtful research and deliberation. When I (along with my husband and adult son) arrived at the dealership, we walked by a half dozen individuals who were smoking and playing music loudly. We were never greeted. I finally asked for the person to whom I had spoken on the phone and he showed me the vehicle about which I had inquired. As would any discerning person, we checked out the vehicle and inquired about the options for the poor tires. The tires were so bad that the tire pressure indicator was on - it was clear that they all should be replaced. I was given vague answers about the tire situation - one person told me it wouldn't be a problem to replace them, another only wanted to replace one tire (who does that?). Nevertheless, I asked to test drive the vehicle. They said okay, but made no attempts to move the other vehicles on the compact lot that were impeding the movement of the vehicle I wanted to drive. After at least 20 minutes, the general manager told me that he needed to see my bank account before I could test drive the vehicle. It is worth noting that had they asked the right questions, they would have known that I came prepared with an auto check from my credit union and I was a very serious buyer. In addition, the vehicle in which I was interested was eight years old and less than $22,000 - I could see if I was inquiring about an exotic automobile, but to ask to see my personal financial information without knowing how I planned to pay for the car was absurd and appalling. They did not take the time to hear how serious I was about purchasing the vehicle, ignored my requests, and at one point told me that they did not feel comfortable doing business with me. Unfortunately, the ordeal ended in a belligerent shouting match for a vehicle that still remains on their lot. Please spare yourself the disrespect and mistreatment.

I am an out of state customer and I was in the market to purchase a vehicle. I was browsing online and ran across MerLex Auto Group. They have a great selection of vehicles to choose from as well as great prices. I looked through their web site and right before I was going to make a call and start the process to conduct business with them, I came across the reviews and I looked and read every single one of them. At first, I thought I should ignore this organization and take my business elsewhere, but later on I was thinking to myself there are ALWAYS TWO SIDES TO A STORY. Let me find out what they have to say about these reviews. I called the store and asked them about the car that I was interested in, and I told them I read their reviews and I don’t want to fly down there and spend substantial time and money and the car is not there and come back empty handed. They advised me first of all on consumers that write the reviews they will express their experience after conducting business with the organization, some of these reviews are consumer that were disqualified for the vehicle they were looking for due to their credit situation and since they could not conduct any business, the wrote negative reviews without doing any business with their organization. Secondly, some consumers they want them to hold the vehicle without any commitment or deposit towards the vehicle. They are expecting them to hold the car with just a phone conversation and hoping that they show up and purchase the vehicle. They assured me that if I left a deposit they would hold the vehicle until I get there and look at the vehicle and make my decision and if I was not satisfied with them they would refund the full amount of deposit. I was nervous and confused, should I take a 3 and half hour flight and spend a $1,000 to go there or not. Finally, I decided to do that. I called them back and made an appointment for the upcoming weekend and left a $500.00 deposit for the vehicle that I was interested in. Early Saturday morning, I flew in to Washington Regan Airport. A gentleman named Bola was waiting to pick me up from the airport. He greeted me very professionally and had a first good impression. We had a good conversation and he shared with me with a lot of information about their company history and also a lot of information about the features on the vehicle. We made it to the dealership before 10am when they opened. He offered me and took me to the breakfast brunch. After we had breakfast we came to the dealership and he introduced me to Walter, who is the G.M. They detailed and gassed up the vehicle the night before and had it ready for me to look at it. So far, everything went smoothly and I felt great that I made the right decision to come down there and experience it myself. I looked at the vehicle, and there are some features that did not come with the vehicle that I wasn’t sure if I should still purchase the vehicle. At the same time, I felt guilty that I left a deposit on the vehicle and they missed a sale because of me. Finally, I told Bola I really don’t want to do this, but if I get the vehicle with the features I want I will be happy and satisfied. At the beginning, I thought he would get upset, but he had the biggest smile on his face and told me that he was not going to be satisfied until I was satisfied. He told me the following week there would be a highline sale and would get me the exact vehicle that I was looking for. I decided to take a flight back home. They offered me lunch and ride back to the airport. They even gave me my deposit back and they advised me when they found a vehicle, they would call me and ask me for a security deposit for a commitment. The following week on Wednesday, I received a call from Bola and he told me that he was looking at the auction running list and there are a couple vehicles with the options and features that I was looking for. He just wanted to let me know that he was going there tomorrow to purchase a vehicle for me tomorrow. Thursday afternoon, I received a text from him along with a picture of the vehicle including the options and features that he purchased. He advise me that he is going to send the vehicle through the auction for the certification to certify it at the auction to make sure there were no issues with the vehicle or accidents as well as the certification papers. Later on that day, I received a phone call from him stating everything was looking good and that the vehicle would be there by Friday morning so I could look at it. I got a call 10am Friday morning that the vehicle is at the dealership, inspected, fully detailed and gassed up and ready for me. I gave them another security deposit in the amount of $500 to secure the purchase. I flew down the next day Saturday morning, Bola picked me up from the airport. We got to the dealership I was shocked, the vehicle was far beyond my expectations. While I was waiting for them to process my paperwork, I was thinking to myself, I’m glad that I did not ignore MerLex Auto Group and I decided to hear the other side of the story and being patient and experience it for myself and end up purchasing a great car at a great price. I would recommend any customer before they make any decision or judgment to hear the other side of the story first. You will end up like me a happy and satisfied customer. MerLex Auto Group is a home for me and every individual that works for that company are my family member through this car buying experience and I would definitely recommend them.

I Couldn't get the same salesman on the phone to save my life. I Live 5 hours away and requested a Carfax before I drove down, 3 different salesman said they would email me and never did. So I Checked it myself. Their Car description was totally different. It had 3 owners instead of 1 like they said. The milage was 9000+ miles more than described by them and the Car was Wrecked.Their description said no accidents. So I called to talk to them about it and they told me, "The Car was just sold" I didn't believe it,I think it was just their way of getting out of their Fabricated,False Advertised vehicle description. The Car was just there all of a sudden its sold smh. I wouldn't buy a vehicle from them.
