by Discerner on 02/27/2023We purchased a used GMC Yukon XL last month. This was our largest car purchase ever - even though it was a common deal for the dealer it was not for us. Our salesman was very nice and handled the purchase well. After that things went… down hill. We drove it the next day and immediately realized there was a transmission problem - a shudder - and later found out this was common with this transmission. We made an appt. to have it checked out along with few other things and left the car there. After a couple days I had to call and find out that the torque converter was bad and "they" were working out what to do. Again after a few more days with no call - I called again and was told to talk to Michael. I did and he apologized for the lack of communication but then said as a "courtesy" they would cover half the cost to replace the torque converter which he said wasn't "normally" considered part of the drive train! So long story short - the torque converter was bad PRIOR to selling it to me and they had an idea of it because I was told the transmission fluid was flushed as part of the prep to sell the car. I sent emails to the general manager of the dealership to talk to him and left phone messages. NEVER did he respond to me - not by call or by email. I proposed to have them supply all the parts for repair of the torque converter (my son is a mechanic - and he would do it) plus a rear main engine seal to replace since it would be open at that time. Michael agreed and a couple weeks later we got the car and parts EXCEPT the rear main seal - a fifteen dollar part. The service advisor said it wasn't needed for the torque converter repair and didn't give me an opportunity to explain our agreement with Michael. My 30 day warranty ran out with the car being in the shop more than half that time. So be warned this dealership sells defective cars and does not stand by them when caught. Very sad. Communication was horrible with this company and the concern that I just spent $27,000 dollars didn't mean a thing. They were more concerned about which dept. would be paying for the parts and labor - why I needed to know about this was beyond me. I like the car a lot except for the transmission issue which I learned can now be prevented with a new style bypass valve kit which I bought on my own.Mr
by Kousai A on 01/11/2023I purchased a brand new Sierra SLT with a sticker price of 66k from this dealer the truck was damaged in transit and I was told it was a dent in the bumper when I drove to Vermont which is 3 hrs away it was into the body of the truck and… the tailgait didn’t open I proceeded with the purchase as I was promised that the dealer will pick up the truck and fix everything in 2-3 weeks. After multiple attempts to reach the sales rep the took my truck twice over 5 days each time there is still body damage that wasn’t addressed as I was promised. Will never do business with them againOutstanding Customer Service

by Kyle on 05/28/2018updated 06/04/2018To the Finance Manager who was about as helpful and knowledgeable as dog is about meowing: You should probably work on treating customers as such instead of your friend. Talking about kissing your salesman while sitting with me isn't… exactly what I would call professional. Also, insinuating I don't have knowledge about the vehicle I am purchasing is probably not going to earn you a sale, either. I would recommend you act more like your salesman, Shane, who was actually a good salesman and attempted to help me even though I was looking at a vehicle he did not have as much knowledge about being a Subaru at a Chevy dealership. All in all, my salesman was helpful and the finance manager (whom I cannot remember his name as he looked like a disheveled unprofessional know it all that appeared to want to leave the store more than help me with the sale) should probably at least read a few books on management and proper ethical treatment of consumers before he talks to another customer again. Shane, keep up the good work and let your manager know he should try to not be as awful with other customers in the future if you wish to generate more sales and expand your customer base. In fact, you should probably avoid working with that manager at all costs if this is your ultimate goal. Regards, Subaru Enthusiast10/10 Love that I came here!

The dealership had a kid section for my daughter, they have done business with my family, and i am now a lifelong customer of the automall. No… pressure, no lies or deception, and best of all, everyone went above and beyond, showing the kindest of gestures. I will never goto another dealership again, merry xmas guys! And ty again for such a superb and timely service!! Having a finance officer argue with the banks to get the customer a better rate absolutely blewy mind. Christmas came early for this guy!!!KEVIN DID AN AWESOME JOB!

Before driving the GMC terrain, Shane opened the hood, walked me around the SUV and explained all the major features of the vehicle. terrible sales department

Not a good dealership after taking delivery of the truck that 1500 miles on it and getting a call and telling me it had a loaded handgun in the console and my license plates… off of my old truck didn't make it home plus the oil change on my old truck that I paid for and they said they would reimburse me the money that did not happen. Also they advertise that they have the lowest prices guaranteed. That didn't happen I called to see if they could make things right and the sale person was very rude. Do not recommend this dealership at all.I am concerned by your review and would love the opportunity to address it for you. Your satisfaction is extremely important to me and our company. by bobtombs on 04/14/2015just purchased a 2015 denali pick up they delivered it to me(30 miles away)they delivered it broken, the onstar had a bad brain and would not work I had to bring it back (60 miles round trip) and take time off from work they ordered a… part I drove it back (60 miles round trip) and a half day off from work I asked them to at least fill my tank for the inconvenience since they never checked the truck before delivery to me. the sales manager CHAD said they could not do that. so chad here is your review they are price only no service after the saleThank you so much for taking the time to give us this feedback. Rebates are used as price compromises (won't tell you what Chevy is offering but will slide them into the negotiations). Used to be an… honest dealership. Emphasis on USED TO BE!!! After 6 Chevys, I'm done thanks to the Auto Small.First of all, Thank you for doing business at Auto Mall. I am sorry you feel the way you do about the way the deal was handled. Our job is to be sure you get the best value and we have done that. Rebates are different from month to month, and can vary from customer to customer. (example: if you own a business or have a current lease or currently own a GM or are a member of USAA, have a GM credit card, or taking 0%, or being a GM partner (There are many more examples) there could be more or less rebate depending on many different factors) It in no way benefits the dealership to not tell you about extra rebate money as all rebates go to the customer. I am happy we found you extra rebate money while investigating what you qualify for.

My car has over 100,000 mile and was presently surprised that the service department gave me an accurate quote and didn't try and sell me anything additional. They performed the work listed at… the prices quotes with no surprises (as i have often experienced at other garages). Great Service Auto Mall! Thank you!
