The salesman and managers make you think they are doing YOU a service: meanwhile they are JUST DOING YOU! Rebates are used as price compromises (won't tell you what Chevy is offering but will slide them into the negotiations). Used to be an honest dealership. Emphasis on USED TO BE!!! After 6 Chevys, I'm done thanks to the Auto Small.

I am sorry you feel the way you do about the way the deal was handled.
Our job is to be sure you get the best value and we have done that.
Rebates are different from month to month,
and can vary from customer to customer. (example: if you own a business or have a current lease or currently own a GM or are a member of USAA, have a GM credit card, or taking 0%, or being a GM partner (There are many more examples) there could be more or less rebate depending on many different factors)
It in no way benefits the dealership to not tell you about extra rebate money as all rebates go to the customer. I am happy we found you extra rebate money while investigating what you qualify for.
