    I was only looking to test drive a third 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk to see if this car was what I really wanted. The first one was a new 2015 with the 4 cylinder, the second one was a used 2015 with the V6, and the third one was a new 2015 with the V6, with only 11 miles on the clock. I fell in love with this one! Let's back up a bit. I had found one online at this dealership that was the Deep Cherry Red, but when I had arrived at the dealership it was just recently sold and the staff haven't had the chance to update their inventory. So they had asked me if they could find me one that was comparable. I told them that as long as that it was the Trailhawk with the V6 in one of my five color choices that it was ok. They had chosen for me a Granite Gray that had met all of my requirements. I had taken it for a test drive and.......well, I drove it home that evening. The day before I had spoken with Ally about what I had wanted. The next day I had called her back, but had discovered that she was off for the day, so Reese had taken care of the call. After we had gotten things taken care of I hit the road for Salt Lake City. Keep in mind, I live three hours away in Vernal, so the drive to SLC couldn't be a bust. I had stopped in Heber for a pit stop and found that I had received a text from Ally saying to let her know when I was close to town. When I had arrived Ally was there waiting for me. She had came in on her day off just to help me! She had walked me throughout the whole Jeep, stating little cool facts about this particular vehicle. She was very knowledgeable! What I also appreciated about her was that she was very patient, and she was not the typical pushy type salesperson. She was there to answer my questions, but she didn't "hover" all over me like what you would find at other dealerships. I got to meet many of the staff there as well, including (but not limited to) Reese, Brandon Smith, Gabe, and Ghassan. They were a great bunch of people. Although the entire sales process had taken a couple of hours, they all had made sure that I was comfortable and had offered me refreshments. But once the paperwork was all finished Ally took the time to go over some more of the cool features that was on my new Trailhawk. She didn't have to come in to work on her day off, but she did, and that had shown me how personal and dedicated that she and her whole team was at providing the best in customer service. I can honestly say that they are definitely a big town dealer with a small town service. I highly recommend any of my friends and family to them. As I was driving my new V6 Trailhawk home I couldn't help but think how this vehicle was so wonderfully engineered. It drove like a dream! And I have the wonderful staff at Salt Lake Valley CDJR to thank for such a wonderful shopping experience.

  • Car Salesmen Still Exist

    These guys are so fake its ridiculous. At the time of purchase very friendly and very upbeat. Then you have a problem and the real car salesmen come out. Look I was in a bind with my current vehicle and was referred to them by another dealer up the road. It was late and decided to stop by. I honestly felt forced into buying this car. I hate the car and even at looking at the great deal they gave me its a rip off. In the fine print all the little extras that were reworded and hidden is way over priced. So after getting so sick to my stomach I asked to return the car and was willing to pay for mileage or damages if any. Even though I was upfront honest and wasnt raising my voice they were so rude. The couldnt even be transparent with us about funding or who was funding it or what was going on. Then as my wife asked a question to Randy he got all mad and walked away. I almost wanted to grab him by the collar and say to not walk away from her while she was asking a question. However Im more adult and mature then Randy. Bottomline this dealership makes me sick and being in the automotive industry myself this is not how you treat customers. I also know the biggest form of advertisement is by word of mouth. This will not be the only review I write but many more. I will also let my friends, family, coworkers and customers where not to go to purchase a car. You have my word.

    This is how a new car purchase should work. We negotiated an agreeable price up front without having to go through any of those games a lot of dealers like to play. Your price was the second best we could find with a thorough search all over the west. The only one cheaper was far up in northern Idaho and we didn't want to go that far. Even though you had a Jeep on the lot exactly matching the one we wanted Jenn just made an off-hand suggestion to go with that one. But when we said we wanted to order one instead, she replied "no problem". There was no pressure at all for us to commit to that specific vehicle. You were willing to wait for us to come to get the vehicle when we were ready even though it sat on your lot for several weeks. And it was ready and waiting in great shape when we did finally show up. The full tank of gas and the included wheel locks were a very pleasant surprise as well. We didn't have to worry about getting a lock on that spare tire ASAP after all. A special thanks to Jenn for the quick return with a good price and the special bow added to the car. It made for a special Birthday. And thanks so much for not pestering us with constant emails and phone calls. It gave us time to digest all the information and prices we were looking at. Some of the dealers we emailed were far too pushy, calling and emailing constantly asking why we haven't come down to the dealership. That approach quickly turned us off. Jenn was an absolute no nonsense, no push person to deal with. We really, really appreciated that. And a thanks to Charles for spending so much time showing us how everything works and how to drive 4WD. Having never driven a Wrangler before, it was nice to have that introduction. He clearly loves these little cars. We wish we lived nearby so we could try your service department as well.

    These guys were so great! From the time I called to schedule a test drive, to the point I drove my new jeep off the lot. We were not in the greatest situation with our old car and these guys made it painless. Jason the floor manager wasn't your typical salsmen. He and Jed were realistic and resonable.

  • Worst Day Of my Life

    Worst Experience I have ever had at a dealership. I live in Rexburg, Idaho and I found a vehicle that I liked so I contacted them and we traded information. I was told to tell them if I wanted the truck and they would pull it off the lot and deliver it to ogden that next day.I called and told them I can pick it up tomorrow. As I am driving down to pick the truck up I recieved a phone call saying, "hey there is someone here looking to get this truck" the one that I told them I wanted. So they said deposit some money so we can tell them it is not for sale. I deposited 1500 and they told me that I needed to drive all the way to Salt lake because the roads were bad. So i proceded to drive all the way to Salt Lake when I arrived they told me that the truck was mine they just had to work out a few things with the people that came in earlier that morning. Two hours went by then they tell me that if their credit goes through that I will not get the truck. I waited another hour and a half just to find out that they got approved and I got screwed out of a truck even though I was told the night before they were going to pull it off the lot and pick it up in the morning. The most frustrating thing that I was experiencing is that every sales rep there told me that the, "early bird gets the worm." At first I thought they were talking about me. The one that set an appointment to pick the truck up that morning. No it was the people that drove in that morning with no appointment, the people that were not told they could pick it up in the morning, looked at it and wanted it so I got nothing. Everyone said that they were going to make this right so I waited and the best they could do is try and get me into a new truck with a payment that was $150 to $200 a month over what I budgeted for. All in all I spent six hours talking to people and got absolutely nowhere. I am frustrated and the only thing I can do is write a review. Not even an offer to comensate for gas or time. That is not the way to do business. I will never tell anyone that they should buy from these guys. Whats sad to is I am a young construction business owner that potentially has a lot of business in the future but they can kiss that good bye.

  • Nicest L Salesperson ever!

    I recently came in and bought a Brand New 2014 Jeep Cherokee! I live in Nevada and they were the only dealership who had the vehicle i wanted and the exact package I wanted! I worked with L Andrew, he was the polititest Salesman I have ever dealt with! The process was so quick and painless! After the deal my husband and I were traveling with our camper and wanted to do some traveling before heading back home, Andrew and his Manager were sooo kind to store our Brand New Jeep till we got back! He was so helpful he even spent at least an hour or so showing me how everything works. I will recommend everyone to go see L Andrew!

    The staff is set up to cooperate so you, the customer, feel comfortable with every step of the way. I didn't understand a part of the financing process, and the Finance chief spent 2 hours with me and made it simple to understand. I've never had a dealership do that before, care about every step, every detail that will touch my car buying. I was supremely happy. My next cars will come from this family of dealerships. Did I mention they have a superb "racing" shop?

    We found ourselves in need of a new car on short notice, and I've had good experiences with Jeeps, and with this dealership, so it's the first place we went car shopping. The salesman who worked with us was very knowledgeable about the different model choices and options available. After listening to what we were looking for he showed us several cars that had exactly what we wanted. I researched the cars on the dealer's website and found the site to be very thorough and helpful. The aggressive pricing, including the dealer discount, was surprising, and sold us quickly on purchasing the car we had selected as our top choice. Overall it was the most pleasant car buying experience I've ever had.
