A Bit Sloppy
by Aaron M on 02/23/2022Had my truck in for the Takota Passenger airbag recall, a pretty simple swap through the top glove compartment. But when the vehicle was returned the glove box jutted out from its housing and was pretty badly misaligned. I had to remove and… reinstall the glove compartment myself which only took maybe 5 minutes. The Multi-Point Inspection was also pretty shallow, and they had obviously only spent a few minutes on it, just checking pass on everything. Overall just a poor and lazy job. I know it’s a simple warranty job and the tech isn’t getting paid much but i’d still expect better.I apologize that you experienced this during your visit. Also tried to charge me $250 extra. They also returned my car dirty, didn’t even clean it off… after some rain while it sat in their lot.I apologize that you experienced this during your visit. Super Oil Change!
by UncleBob62 on 02/19/2022Took my car for it’s regular maintenance oil change and was treated with respect and courtesy. I was advised it would be about 1-2hrs of wait time. It was ready in a little over an hour and my car was treated like it was their own wasn’t… dripping of oil or dirty floor mat as a liner was put on floor to prevent this. Always enjoy the smile and friendliness the service advisor gives me when I come in. Made my day to see someone smile at you and say have a nice day!Thank you for your wonderful feedback. Great Service
by JCB on 02/18/2022I had an appointment today for service. The shuttle driver took me to my designated location and offered to pick me up when my vehicle was ready but I already made arrangements. The Service Advisor called to let me know I needed some… filters replaced to approve without adding additional charges and I so appreciated that. My vehicle was ready earlier than expected so I was able to pick it up sooner than expected. Thank you everyone.Thank you for your kind words! Lacked communication

They sent a text stating that was the way to communicate but after telling me what was needed, they did not respond again despite my… responses and questions. They never told me me vehicle was ready. I had to call and check on it after 4.5 hours.Fair price, excellent service, and no hassles!

Oil change service

I didn’t receive my truck back till about an hr after I declined the filter service . I had to ask… another service writer for help and found out they were waiting on me to decide on filter service . No integrity
by Kurt on 02/14/2022Purchased a 2014 Chevy 2500. The truck had 136000 miles and very clean. No visible leaks from motor. Ran great. No apparent shifting problems. Two days after purchase the transmission went out completely leaving me stranded several hundred… miles from home. I did purchase the extended warranty and started the process of repair. I contacted the dealership who said I should find a local repair shop. Unfortunately being stuck in a small town limited my options. I ended up having to tow it back to them costing me $750. The dealership offered to pay my deductible which was nice but never offered a loaner or to pay anything on towing. Simply put they washed their hands if this whole mess. I will tell you I had a similar experience back in October 2021 with car max and they did everything to help me. My vehicle was in the shop for 3.5 months but we had a loaner and all towing and repair costs covered. That’s integrity. Gene Messer Chevrolet is not the place to purchase. Go somewhere else if you’re buying used. Even though you purchase as-is I fell the dealership should stand by their service and do whatever it takes to get referrals and repeat business.Thank you for speaking with us about your experience.
