5 out of 5 starsby Jana Cross on 03/08/2025

As soon as we arrived, Darian was the first one to meet us. He answered all of our questions and was very attentive to our requests. I got exactly what I wanted and I am very pleased with our purchase. 2025 KIA Carnival. He went above and beyond.

  • Devin Harp did a great job during our purchase of our Sportage Hybrid

5 out of 5 starsby Carsten on 02/19/2025

Devin Harp made the purchasing of our new Kia Sportage Hybrid a pleasant experience. He was very knowledgeable, took time to explain everything about the car, was very fair during price negotiation, and ensured the car would be ready when we arrived to pick it up. I would definitely recommend Devin and Parkway Kia to anyone in the Houston area looking to buy a Kia.

  • Great overall experience with Benji!

5 out of 5 starsby Holden on 11/04/2024

My wife and I recently spent time with Benji looking for a new Telluride. Benji was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and helpful as we went through this process. We were always met with kindness and honesty with him. Unfortunately our process didn't end with a purchase, but only because the exact model of Telluride we were looking for is hard to come by. That said, I would highly recommend working with Benji if you are looking for a new Kia!

  • Oil change turned car buy!

    5 out of 5 starsby Allison P on 08/15/2024

From start to finish, I had a great experience here. Started with going in for a service appointment and was helped by CJ who was professional and kind; I ended up putting in an inquiry for an appraisal for my current Kia while I was there and was contacted immediately by the acquisitions manager, Christoper Rodriguez, who was transparent and helpful the entire process; was connected to Alisha who helped me end up purchasing a used car! Oil change turned in to a whole day at the dealership and I never felt pressured, they were all honest and seemed to genuinely try to pair me with what I was telling them my current needs were. Christoper followed through with his service-forward philosophy even when I didn't take his appraisal offer for my Kia; he still HIGHLY discounted my oil change to make sure I came back for all my future services ... and I will! I have had some great car buying experiences, but definitely never an unplanned one, and never one THIS pleasant. Thank you Parkway Family! See you soon :)

  • Gael was the best.

He was very informative, went above and beyond, all with a smile on his face. Spent hours to help us to get in the exact vehicle we wanted at the right price, reassuring us that he only wanted what was best. Once we made the deal he made the 3 hour trip to deliver and his excitement only made ours grow more. We could not have asked for a better salesman. Thanks, G!! You the best!!

  • Felt like I was being held hostage!

1 out of 5 starsby LD on 05/13/2024

The visit started out odd. I knew what I was looking for. I wanted to see a Kia Sportage SX-Prestige. There were particular features that this model has. The sales person took my key fob to appraise my car and insisted on showing me a "base model" even though I clearly was not interested in that trim. Then she brings be the sport model that has off roading wheels. I talked about wanting a car that was sleek. She brings the GM out and he was nice and says, I think I have what you are looking for and brings the exact car I had seen on their website. We scheduled a 2pm appointment for my husband to come look with me. I had asked for my key back at this point and for the car to be moved under covered parking since it was raining. After 2pm the sales person texted me and asked if I was ok. I said my husband is here and we are waiting to look at the car but it hasn't been moved. She said she was in another building doing training and would come back when it stops raining. I asked for my key again so we could come back another time. She said she was on her way. We looked at the car and she brings out a paper and asks me some more questions. I told her that we were not purchasing today but we are serious buyers. I asked for my key again and she said she wanted to get her manager to talk to us before we left. We waited for another 10 min. I had to go find her. She comes out with another form with writing on it. I said at this point I don't want to talk about anything else and to give me my key back. I told her I was being held hostage and I needed to leave. She finally gave me my key. The car was never appraised. This could have been a good experience and you could have had a patron but your games don't work on me. Get to know your buyers before you try your ridiculous tactics.

I want other shoppers to know that after you sign documents for the car and pay for insurance. MC the salesmen & a manage mine was a guy named Spencer will come out to claim the bank is asking for 3-5000 more . Just know when this happens to call your bank because they have added gap and vehicle coverage into your financing. I caught it and saved money.BEWARE OF THEIR CRIMES
  • New car experience

5 out of 5 starsby Kimberly Love on 02/28/2024

Wanted to give a BIG shout out to Linda Muhammad and CJ for giving me the nicest and most calming experience to purchase my “first time” buying a car. They listened to my needs and took time to help me understand the purchase. Thank you both so very much.
  • Horrible experience

1 out of 5 starsby Houston Buyer on 02/08/2024

Lies, lies, and more lies. Ancient selling techniques with constant back and worth when i was told the deal was done or would have never went there. Serious add-on charges with no discussion beforehand.

  • Please be super vigilant

I urge all consumers to exercise extreme caution when dealing with Parkway Family Kia. I was an international student when I went to this dealership to purchase a used car. In addition to adding several illegal charges totaling over $5,000, the dealership altered my loan terms and interest rates, blatantly disregarding our agreed-upon terms. Moreover, I still have not received my title. I've reported this matter to TxDMV and received a letter that they have sent a cure/warning letter to the dealership. Moreover, I hired a lawyer to send a demand letter to the dealership requesting to refund my money and give me the title. However, the dealership keeps ignoring all my legal rights.
    • If you don't like something - come back to your Brazil. Maybe they will give you better service there.

  • Stay away from these liars

1 out of 5 starsby Mary Oatman on 12/02/2023

The sales man lied about several key points in order to get the sell. Lied about all the hidden fees that would be charged, lied about the kia access app being free to use for locking and unlocking car it's $149 annual fee after a month, lied about customer care after the sale, and lied about the car having no problems. This is the second time different salesman years apart that has lied and of course when you call the next day they have conveniently been terminated and the dealership won't honor anything they said. It seems to me that the dealership is aware of the situation and lying themselves to protect themselves while scamming customers. I will be telling everyone on every site available the way this dealership handles customer service with lies and deceit.
  • JOCELYN IS THE BEST!!

  • Purchase of Honda Accord

5 out of 5 starsby Ki on 09/10/2023

I never leave reviews but I promised Jose Soto that I would. I purchased a Honda Accord with him and was straight forward about everything from the very beginning. I appreciated his patient seen as though this was my first time financing a vehicle. I had a short timeline but the team was able to accommodate me. Truly appreciate Jose!
  • Sketchy, lies, rude

    1 out of 5 starsby Joe C on 09/02/2023

I bought my child a Toyota Camry on Tuesday. When we were waiting for the financing people to come get us we were told there was a problem and asked if we could come back, but we could take the car. So I drove the car off the lot. I returned on Thursday at noon to finish the paperwork. I paid $1500 down and financed the rest. I completed all the paperwork. I was told to go wait out front while the car got detailed. I waited until 6 p.m. Finally, someone came and told me that they wouldn't let the car off the lot until it had new tires. It was a safety hazard. They said they didn't have another car for me. Since I drove the car I didn't have a way to go home. I got an Uber home (15 miles). They said they'd call me the next morning. No call was received. I called at 10 a.m. I was told they were finishing up with the car and it would be ready that afternoon. I told them I'd be there at 4 p.m. I left work early, drove an hour home to pick up my wife so she and I could go pick up the car. Arrived around 5:30 p.m. I was told that the tires weren't there and they didn't have an ETA. It was now Friday evening. We have 5 children at home. The sales manager was called. They didn't try to rectify the situation. According to them, nothing could be done and they did nothing wrong. I bought a car, financed car, was paying for the insurance on the car, and yet I had no car. They didn't try to get tires from an alternate location, they didn't try to get me a rental or a loaner, they never even apologized for the inconvenience. This caused an enormous inconvenience on my family and Parkway Family Kia (the name is ironic) did absolutely nothing to even attempt to make it write. Now I'm really concerned about the vehicle I purchased that they didn't even know it had bad tires when they sold it to me. Did they find other issues? Was it never looked at in the first place? Did I purchase a lemon? The whole thing seems very shady. Extremely poor experience. Horrible customer service.
    • There was no free solution honestly. You bought a Camry, not a kia. Car was used. Next time buy new Kia and you would be treated with respect.

  • Unprofessional, Sketchy Buisness

1 out of 5 starsby Tionna on 08/30/2023

On August 23rd, I visited Parkway Family Kia dealership with the intention of purchasing a vehicle. I was assisted by Rebecca Davis, but due to my car history, I was presented with limited options, including cars with over 100,000 miles. This left me feeling discouraged, and over the course of the next few weeks, I went through four cars that were not suitable for me, primarily due to high down payments and mileage. On September 7, 2022, I had an appointment with Rebecca, but I was directed to work with Tijuan. Tijuan was able to find a 2016 Chevy Cruze that I test drove and decided to purchase. The purchase process was quick, but I was informed that the car would be ready in a week, which turned out not to be the case due to the service staff being affected by COVID-19. When I asked Tijuan if my car required any unknown work and if he was being truthful, his response was less than satisfactory: "watch who you are talking to." Unfortunately, I did not receive my car until 30 days after the purchase date. After I received my car on October 7th, 2022, I noticed that the engine light was on while driving it. Consequently, I returned the car and received it back a week later. Unfortunately, the car broke down in my driveway the following day, October 8th, 2022. I had it towed back to the Kia dealership on October 10th, 2022. Upon arriving at the dealership, I had a meeting with the General Manager, DeMarcus Hackett, who apologized for the inconvenience caused and expressed his willingness to assist me in any way possible. He assured me that if I did not receive an update regarding my car's status by October 14th, he would take action to terminate my contract and reimburse me for my first car payment. Rebecca Davis was also present in this meeting. On October 17th, DeMarcus informed me that he would take the necessary steps to terminate my contract. However, he mentioned that he was leaving Parkway Kia and referred me to Mike or Ryan for further assistance. Subsequently, on October 20th, 2022, I received a call from Rodney Carlson. I explained my situation to him and relayed the message that DeMarcus had given me regarding terminating my contract. However, Rodney told me that it was not possible to do so. Despite Credit Acceptance, my lien holder, assuring me that it was an option, Rodney claimed that they had money tied into my contract and was hesitant to allow me to terminate it. He even stated that he was not obligated to do so by the state of Texas. Rodney's response was less than satisfactory, as he refused to engage in further discussion and even suggested that I should be grateful for riding in one of their loaners. Not once did he apologize for the inconvenience caused. DeMarcus had previously promised me that I would receive a repayment to compensate for the 30 days during which I did not have my car. However, when I spoke with Rodney about this matter, he claimed to have no recollection of such an agreement and directed me to speak with a service manager, Val Fukuichi, to arrange for the payment. Although I did eventually receive my car and the promised payment on November 19th, 2022, my vehicle broke down once again on November 21st, 2022, while I was driving on the highway. The dashboard displayed an engine overheating message, and I immediately contacted Val, sharing a picture of the dashboard with him. Consequently, I returned the vehicle to the dealership for servicing. After retrieving my car on November 26th, 2022, I was assured that nothing was wrong with it. However, on December 7th, 2022, my car broke down again, citing the same engine failure. My vehicle was in the possession of Parkway Kia from December 7th, 2022 until March 2023. During this time, I received a call from Tony Gomez, the pre-owned director, demanding that I return the rental vehicle that I was in, but he did not provide me with any updates regarding my own vehicle. In an attempt to obtain information about my vehicle, I returned to Parkway Kia with my step-father. However, Kia was unable to provide me with any answers, but instead threatened to involve the police if I did not return the rental vehicle. Consequently, I returned the loaner that day, fearing the repercussions of any further action from Kia. I revisited Parkway Family Kia to speak with Tony Gomez once again, but this time, I was accompanied by my mother. Tony, who was new to Parkway, was unaware of the history behind my vehicle, but he expressed sympathy towards my situation. Tony promised that he would look into the matter and try to provide me with a loaner vehicle in the meantime. He kept his promise and informed me that my vehicle needed a new engine and a/c compressor. He also arranged for me to receive a loaner vehicle while the repairs were being made. On April 4, 2023, I returned the loaner vehicle to Parkway Family Kia. Approximately a week later, on April 13, 2023, I received a text message from Parkway stating that I had damaged the vehicle. However, I did not get into a wreck in the vehicle. The following day, Parkway reported the alleged damage to my insurance company, stating that I had authorized them to do so, which is not true. I am currently disputing this matter with my insurance company. After experiencing months of issues with Parkway Kia, including being blamed for the car I purchased, being threatened, taken advantage of, and being forced to be "grateful", I decided to write a review on April 28, 2023, citing my experience with this dealership, especially after my car once again broke down. Following this, I returned my car to Kia after speaking with a service representative named Nick. Upon returning my car, I was directed to speak with Val Fukuichi, who I had not spoken to in months, as he had blocked my number. Upon entering Val's office, he began chastising me about the review I had made on Google. He raised his voice and demanded that I take it down. I refused to comply. During this time, Store Director Russell Wells walked in to meet with me, as I had never met him before. I explained my situation with Parkway to him. After walking out of Val's office, feeling disrespected, Russell gave me his card and promised to help me if I needed it. On May 1, 2023, I was informed by the service representative, Nick, that my car was experiencing electrical issues. On May 5, 2023, I was informed that they were dismantling my vehicle to test the starter and alternator but did not have an estimated timeframe for completion. I reached out to Russell, who previously offered to assist me, to inquire about a loaner vehicle. Unfortunately, Russell informed me that he could not provide a loaner due to my Google review and my refusal to accept the false damage claim. As a result, I am still without a vehicle and unable to commute to work. I have exhausted all available options and am uncertain about how to proceed. Throughout my ownership of the 2016 Chevy Cruze, which began on September 6, 2022, I have never had possession of the vehicle for more than three weeks at any point. Despite my repeated requests to terminate the contract, Parkway Family Kia has consistently denied my requests.

I am writing this review because I am concerned for single women and young adults that do not have someone who is mechanically inclined. My husband and I bought a used SVU from here a few weeks ago. The vehicle had a few things wrong with it that myself, my husband and the sales people agreed upon would be fixed. one was a vibration to the steering wheel which we thought was going to be an alignment issue. Two was the passenger side running board did not release like it was supposed to. Three, they front windows were not tinted (during the negotiations they said they were) and four, they said they oil had been changed, however the sticker in the window was not current and the oil life on the vehicle showed 20% remaining. Upon taking it back to the dealership a week later they told me they checked the alignment and all was well. They said they had to order the part for the running board so I would have to take vehicle back when this part came in. They did get my front windows tinted and they told me the oil had been changed (per their records), but the sticker and the oil life on the vehicle had not been updated. They told me they would research the matter of the vibration in my steering wheel and look at it again when I brought it back to have the running board fixed. 2 weeks go by and we had not heard anything from our contact person regarding the running board part. I texted the contact person with a response that he didn't go to work that day so he would have to follow up with me later. In the mean time, my husband ordered me new tires for the vehicle because he noticed a bulge in the driver front tire. Mind you, we were told upon buying the vehicle that there were two new front tires put on the vehicle when it went through their "safety check". thankfully, the next day we had all new tires put on and we were told that the front driver side tire was pulling apart. I did attempt to contact my sales person again for a follow up on the running board part, but no response. My husband did get a chance to speak with him and he lied and said he had been in contact with me. He had in fact, not. We still have no update on the running board part (other than its on back order), We spent $1500 on brand new tires which fixed the vibration problem that had I waited for them to fix it I would be dead due to a blown out tire. We did go get the oil changed because when my husband checked the oil he said it was low. Bottom line is you cannot trust these people. There was a single woman in there with two small children when I was purchasing my car. I just keep seeing her face thinking if she was lied to like we were and thought she had a new set of tires on her vehicle and had a blow out and she and/or her kids were killed what would happen. Please do not shop here.
