Parkway Family Kia
Dealership Sales Review
The visit started out odd. I knew what I was looking for. I wanted to see a Kia Sportage SX-Prestige. There were particular features that this model has. The sales person took my key fob to appraise my car and insisted on showing me a "base model" even though I clearly was not interested in that trim. Then she brings be the sport model that has off roading wheels. I talked about wanting a car that was sleek. She brings the GM out and he was nice and says, I think I have what you are looking for and brings the exact car I had seen on their website. We scheduled a 2pm appointment for my husband to come look with me. I had asked for my key back at this point and for the car to be moved under covered parking since it was raining. After 2pm the sales person texted me and asked if I was ok. I said my husband is here and we are waiting to look at the car but it hasn't been moved. She said she was in another building doing training and would come back when it stops raining. I asked for my key again so we could come back another time. She said she was on her way. We looked at the car and she brings out a paper and asks me some more questions. I told her that we were not purchasing today but we are serious buyers. I asked for my key again and she said she wanted to get her manager to talk to us before we left. We waited for another 10 min. I had to go find her. She comes out with another form with writing on it. I said at this point I don't want to talk about anything else and to give me my key back. I told her I was being held hostage and I needed to leave. She finally gave me my key. The car was never appraised. This could have been a good experience and you could have had a patron but your games don't work on me. Get to know your buyers before you try your ridiculous tactics.
